Govt revokes C&C status of two nickel firms

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has canceled the Clean and Clear status listing of two nickel miners holding production mining business permit (IUP Production).
The two companies are PT Morindo Bangun Sejahtera and PT Sulawesi Resources both in Morewali, Central Sulawesi. Morindo has concession area of 1,379 hectares while Sulawesi Resources' concession covers 1,521 hectares.
The Ministry offered no clear reason behind the revocation. The two companies were previously listed on the fifth announcement of C&C status listing last month along with 128 other companies.
