Indo Mines names new finance director for iron sands project

ASX-listed Indo Mines Limited has appointed Craig Fogarty as finance director of Jogja Magasa Iron (JMI), its 70 percent owned joint venture Iron Sands Project in Jogjakarta.

Fogarty?s key role will be to build the finance and accounting team in Indonesia and implement the business systems necessary to support the Project?s rapid development.

?This is a key appointment as the business moves through the construction phase to become a substantial operating business,? the company said.

Fogarty has over 30 years experience in the finance and accounting sector including six years at New Zealand Steel where he held a number of senior finance positions and gained experience in iron sand mining and mineral processing plus iron and steel manufacturing businesses.

Fogarty has also held the role of chief financial officer with a number of manufacturing and telecommunications businesses, including offshore entities.

Fogarty will commence with the Company on 28 November 2011 and will be based in Jogjakarta reporting to newly appointed President Director JMI, Mike O?Connell. (lucky)
