Miners could apply for export recommendation via online

Directorate General of Mineral and Coal and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) have jointly developed an online system that would allow miners to apply for recommendation letter to export mineral ores, Directorate General of Mineral and Coal' website.
The miners could also monitor its updated proposal on recommendation letter at http://pntminerba.djmbp.esdm.go.id.
The miners should first secure recommendation letter from Directorate General of Mineral and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources before submitting proposal to Trade Ministry to secure export license of permit.
The recommendation would be awarded based on assessment on, among others, proposal on road-map to build smelter.
