Robust reports positive assay results at Batu Hitam prospect

ASX-listed company Robust Resources Limited reports positive assay results from 21 diamond drill holes in the Batu Hitam prospect area within Romang Island, where over 90 percent of holes intersected potentially economic mineralized rock.

The latest assay results came after the company conducted extensive exploration drilling program on the Batu Hitam mineralization. Samples from this program will form part of the dataset used to calculate a maiden resource for the Romang Island Project, which is expected early next month.

The assay results have been reviewed in three sections:

1. Batu Hitam West: situated between the original Batu Hitam and Batu Mas prospects where geophysical anomalies have helped to achieve a successful drilling outcome. This area has returned consistent intervals of near-surface gold silver mineralization as well as underlying polymetallic breccias;

2. Batu Hitam South: a wide-open, highly prospective target zone of anomalous resistivity, the potential of which is highlighted in the drilling results;

3. Batu Hitam East: the results generally exhibit sub-limestone, high-grade zones of silver-rich polymetallic mineralization. This zone is open for further discovery to the east. (romel)
