IDX listed PT Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk stated that it is targeting Rp6.9 trillion worth of sales this year, with Rp53.4 billion worth of operating profit and Rp44.1 billion worth of profit before tax.
?These targets are made with the considerations of various infrastructure development projects, including state electricity company's up coming projects this year," said the company's President Director Kunio Ino in Jakarta, adding that the company plans to invest more in copper wire and stranded wire due to their high added value.
?Aluminum rods are products that will be highly sought after as the change of copper wire with aluminum in electrical cables will continue to happen," he added.
Tembaga Mulia Semanan is a copper and aluminum maker with 100,000 tons of copper rod, 25,000 tons of copper wire, 30,000 tons of aluminum rod and aluminum wire production capacity per year.
The company booked Rp6.1 trillion worth of sales in 2011 with up to Rp44.7 billion worth of operating profit. It has now enriched its aluminum end products, namely for the auto industry, low voltage electrical cables and magnetic cables.
