Timah to buy five more dredging ships

PT Timah, the country?s largest tin producer, said that the company planned to purchase five units of dredging ships this year.
The company would use Rp 400 billion ($42 million) of a Rp 3 trillion loan facility from a group of banks to purchase the dredging ships.
?We will add five more dredging ships that we will start operating in 2013. These five ships will add to our current fleet,? Sukrisno, the President Director of the Bangka-based company said as quoted by The Jakarta Globe.
It said that the company secured Rp 3 trillion loan from several state banks, including Bank Mandiri and Bank Rakyat Indonesia. (*)
