We are seeking for best candidates to fill the vacant position:

1. POSITION  : OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Department/Project : Offshore Engineering (STRUCTURAL)

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Working Experiences : More than 8 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract

Duration   : 3-6 Months

Work location   : Jakarta

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Basic knowledge of structural engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define technical documents set based on project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate project engineering documents productions activities and to check and review design documents, prepare either internally or by vendors.

• Capability to write comprehensive technical reports with clear indication of basic data, assumptions, limitations, references, tracing of calculation, summary and conclusion.

• Deep knowledge on using SACS software. Able to develop SACS model of all type of offshore structure including but not limited to geometry, boundary conditions, materials, marine growth and corrosion, added mass, loads (gravity, environmental, live loads, etc), and other offshore specific parameters.

• Basic knowledge of main international structural standards, codes, and regulations. Capability to analyse dedicated project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and to identify proper implementation actions.

• Capability to predict and understand the static and dynamic behaviour of complex steel structures typical of the offshore industry. Able to propose proper action or modification to the structure being analysed in order to improve or optimize the structure.

• Basic knowledge of the key issues related to yard fabrication and erection activities, load out, sea transport and offshore installation of jackets, decks, modules and offshore buildings.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Perform technical tasks assigned by the project structural lead, related with structural analyses, design, verification, or study activities.

2. Liaise with other Project Specialists and Designers whenever required for a proper completion of the work assigned.

3. Design structural systems and components, pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimization in term of costs, fabrication simplicity, constructability and safety.

4. Carry out/Check/Supervise structural analyses.

5. Supervise/Approve steel structures design drawings.

6. Supervise setting up of bill of quantities or material take off (MTO).

7. Prepare, when required, specifications for structural fabrications and all related items such as bearing systems, bolts, cladding, grating, etc.

8. Verify structural strength or dynamic behaviour of items designed by others (piping support, Specialists, Vendors, technical building Suppliers, etc.)

9. Apply the Quality Control Procedure of the Offshore Structural Department during the work assigned.

10. Implement field engineering activities.

11. Write design reports and calculation notes

2. POSITION  : STRUCTURAL TEKLA DESIGNERS

Department/Project : Offshore Engineering (STRUCTURAL)

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Working Experiences : More than 8 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract

Duration   : 3-6 Months

Work location   : Jakarta

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Knowledge of tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activities and specific knowledge of drafting drawing techniques

• Knowledge of main international Discipline standards, codes and regulations.

• General knowledge of the main typologies of offshore structures.

• Knowledge of tools to prepare bill of material and/or material take off.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Perform 2D drafting tasks and 3D TEKLA modeling tasks assigned by Offshore Structural Project Specialist Lead, Engineers and Designer Coordinator within schedule and with due respect to Quality requirements related with design, verification, testing or study activities.

2. Prepare bill of materials and/or material take off based on data either from 2D drawings or extracted from 3D TEKLA model.

3. POSITION  : AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Department/Project : Offshore Engineering (INSTRUMENT)

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Working Experiences : More than 5 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract

Duration   : 3-6 Months

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• [SK1004003] Engineering design activities, Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define the technical documents set based on Project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either internally or by Vendors.

• [SK1004007] Engineering standard codes and regulations, Knowledge of main international Discipline standards, codes and regulations. Capability to analyse dedicated Project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and to identify proper implementation actions.

When required by the role, ability to manage the resolution of Engineering Non-Conformity (NCR) at site supporting Construction and / or Fabrication activities effectively interfacing project Team, Client and Vendor.

• [SK1004010] Process engineering design, Knowledge of process engineering design. Understanding process documents as applicable including process descriptions, process data sheets, PFD, P and ID.

• [SK1004013] Quantity estimation for engineering disciplines, Capability to define the Project general rules and guidelines for Discipline quantities estimation either on Bid Projects or on Projects in execution, according to Corporate design standards, procedures, methods and tools. Capability to control and ensure the correct application of the general rules and guidelines by all team members and all subcontractors involved in quantity definition activities

• [SK1005003] Engineering man-hours and cost budget planning and monitoring, Capability to estimate Discipline Work Orders and Bid Projects engineering man-hours budget based on the Project quantities and scope of work according to Corporate standards, procedures, methods and tools. Capability to estimate Discipline items costs budget based on Project quantities and technical requirements according to Corporate standards, procedures, methods and tools. Capability to monitor the relevant activity progress and the actual man-hours spent vs the earned progress

• [SK1005006] Engineering project documents management, Capability to analyse engineering documents (e.g. Instruction to Tender, Saipem and subcontractor documents, etc.) identifying improvement areas in terms of cost/time optimisation

• [SK1005007] Engineering reporting techniques, Capability to monitor and control the engineering progress and schedule

Contribute to Project reporting for the relevant engineering part

• [SK1005008] Engineering Subcontractor management and control, Capability to handle subcontracted engineering work packages defining the scope of work, the milestones and documentation deliverables. Capability to control the quality, the costs and the timing of the subcontracted activities ensuring the compliance with project scheduling and goals and with contract requirements

• [SK1005009] Engineering technical bid evaluation, Capability to perform technical evaluation of vendor bids with reference to Discipline items, bulk material and subcontracted work packages, according to Corporate standards and procedures

• [SK1005010] Technical proposal preparation, Capability to prepare and coordinate the preparation of Discipline technical proposal documents for Bid Projects according to Tender contractual requirements

• [SK1006003] Engineering technical software tools, User level knowledge of Corporate and Operating Center Discipline technical design software tools. User level knowledge of Corporate and Operating Center IT tools supporting business processes such as electronic document system management, procurement and office automation applications

• [SK1006006] P and IDs mechanisation, Capability to design and coordinate P&IDs for related systems. Full knowledge of Discipline workflow and of Discipline mechanisation procedures and criteria. Full knowledge of Discipline P&IDs mechanisation battery limits

• [SK1007001] Engineering equipment testing, Capability to define technical requirements for Discipline equipment and materials workshop testing according to Corporate standards, procedures, methods and tools

Knowledge of adequate Personal Protective Equipment - purpose, use and maintenance Knowledge and the correct use of Permit to Work system.

• [SK2701014] Project materials post order management, Knowledge of supply chain process (engineering, purchasing, production and fabrications, assembling, packing, transportation, clearing through customs, preservation and installation). Ability to focus on Project objectives and Purchase Order requirements in terms of performance, quantities and quality characteristics, time schedule and cost (expediting, quality control during manufacturing stages, shipping and customs activities of purchased goods). Ability to planning, coordinating, executing, monitoring and improving post order process for goods.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Review Client technical documentation and requirements

• Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documents

• Define engineering design basis and guidelines

• Prepare the technical documentation for Control Systems material and services requisitions and prepare, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluations

• Provide technical support to Project Team

• Optimize Control, Safety Systems design ensuring minimal cost and complexity in compliance with the contractual and safety requirements

• Prepare Control and Safety Systems supply specifications

• Prepare Advanced Control, Dynamic Simulation and Operator Training Simulator functional and supply specifications

• Participate to P and ID mechanization

• Validate Vendor Control and Safety Systems functional design specifications and participate to detail configuration

• documents definition

• Validate Vendor Control Systems BOQs

• Coordinate detail engineering activities and ensure proper installation drawings definition

• Participates to F.A.T. activities ad Vendor workshop

A. Construction and start up

• Participate to Site Acceptance Test, loop checks and functional checks

• Provide technical and engineering support to construction Team

• Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases

4. POSITION  : INSTRUMENT DESIGNERS

Department/Project : Offshore Engineering (INSTRUMENT)

Education  : Min Senior High School or D3

Working Experiences : More than 5 years in similar position specially in Oil & Gas

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract

Duration   : 3-6 Months

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Knowledge and ability of tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activities and specific knowledge of drafting drawing techniques. Specialty for 3D is preferably

• Familiar to INSTRUMENT/AUTOMATION ENGINEERING as DESIGNER

• Work Experience on OIL & GAS ENGINEERING COMPANY

• Work experience with Instrument/Automation Drawing, MTO, SPI wiring, SPI hook-up, SPI Installation Detail, SP3D Model, Involved in the 3D review, etc.

• Able to work under supervise & instruction from Engineer, PSL/HOD and work with other discipline as team.

5. POSITION  : INSTRUMENT ENGINEER (3 POSITION)
