REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Basic knowledge of structural engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define technical documents set based on project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate project engineering documents productions activities and to check and review design documents, prepare either internally or by vendors.

• Capability to write comprehensive technical reports with clear indication of basic data, assumptions, limitations, references, tracing of calculation, summary and conclusion.

• Deep knowledge on using SACS software. Able to develop SACS model of all type of offshore structure including but not limited to geometry, boundary conditions, materials, marine growth and corrosion, added mass, loads (gravity, environmental, live loads, etc), and other offshore specific parameters.

• Basic knowledge of main international structural standards, codes, and regulations. Capability to analyse dedicated project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and to identify proper implementation actions.

• Capability to predict and understand the static and dynamic behaviour of complex steel structures typical of the offshore industry. Able to propose proper action or modification to the structure being analysed in order to improve or optimize the structure.

• Basic knowledge of the key issues related to yard fabrication and erection activities, load out, sea transport and offshore installation of jackets, decks, modules and offshore buildings.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Perform technical tasks assigned by the project structural lead, related with structural analyses, design, verification, or study activities.

2. Liaise with other Project Specialists and Designers whenever required for a proper completion of the work assigned.

3. Design structural systems and components, pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimization in term of costs, fabrication simplicity, constructability and safety.

4. Carry out/Check/Supervise structural analyses.

5. Supervise/Approve steel structures design drawings.

6. Supervise setting up of bill of quantities or material take off (MTO).

7. Prepare, when required, specifications for structural fabrications and all related items such as bearing systems, bolts, cladding, grating, etc.

8. Verify structural strength or dynamic behaviour of items designed by others (piping support, Specialists, Vendors, technical building Suppliers, etc.)

9. Apply the Quality Control Procedure of the Offshore Structural Department during the work assigned.

10. Implement field engineering activities.

• SK0605010 Project production plan. Knowledge and understanding of fabrication sequences for different products (fixed facilities, subsea, etc.) and their own disciplines. Ability to report performance indicators, identify criticalities, and propose corrective actions

• SK1004003 Engineering design activities. Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. • SK1010004. Corrosion and protection. Knowledge of the principles of corrosion and corrosion control methodologies. Knowledge of the potential corrosion damage mechanisms affecting the materials used in the upstream and downstream Oil and Gas sectors when exposed to both the process(i.e. internal) and service (i.e. external) environments,including transient operations, e.g. installation, precommissioning,start-up and shut-down.Knowledge of the main Industry models and software for corrosion assessment in both sour and sweet services, their applicability and limitations and abilityto perform corrosion rate calculations and corrosion assessment evaluations. Knowledge of the main metallic (and non-metallic) materials, their chemical, physical and mechanical properties, their corrosion resistance properties in the various process and service environments and interaction among each other. BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• The Material and Corrosion ENGINEERING will be done at Alamanda Office, Jakarta.

• Follow the painting and coating activities in all its phases

• Follow the field joint coating activities during the bidding and engineering phases but not during the operative phase of the project

The Engineer executes the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks include:

A. Research and Development

▪ Research and develop coating, painting and field joint coating materials and systems

▪ Research and develop FJC equipment

▪ Witness the field joint coating related trials

▪ Prepare the technical specification related to development of the field joint coating equipment and consumables

▪ Perform review and technical evaluation of offers from the field joint coating equipment manufacturer

▪ Perform/supervise the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

▪ Prepare the budget related to the field joint coating research and development operations

▪ Optimize the existing field joint coating equipment

▪ Provide technical assistance to the R&D department for the field joint coating equipment and materials

B. Feasibility Study

▪ Perform the feasibility studies for suitability of the coating, painting and field joint coating systems and equipment

C. Bidding Phase of the Project

▪ Review the received documents and elaborate the input data related to the coating, painting and field joint coating works

▪ Select the suitable coating, painting and field joint coating materials and systems

▪ Prepare the technical qualifications related to the coating, painting and field joint coating

▪ Prepare the specifications and technical requisitions related to the coating, painting and field joint coating materials and services

▪ Estimate the field joint coating cycle time (assisted by the Field Joint Coating Technology Engineer)

▪ Estimate the required man-hours related to the coating, painting and field joint coating engineering works in case of the project award

▪ Perform the technical evaluation of the offers received from Vendors related to the supply of the coating, painting and field joint coating materials and services (if any)

▪ Interface with the Asset Department for determination of the lay out of the FJC stations onboard the pipe laying vessel and for of availability of the field joint coating equipment

▪ Evaluate the equipment necessary to perform the job and feasibility study of the field joint coating operation on board pipe laying vessel including equipment that shall be developed fit for purpose

▪ Prepare the FJC method statement when the FJC operations shall be carried out directly by Saipem

▪ Prepare the technical offer for the field joint coating operations done by Saipem

▪ Prepare the budget related to the field joint coating operations done by Saipem
