Exploration Manager / GGR Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the operation of exploration and GGR activities, including policies guidelines and standard procedures.

- Responsible the Work Program and Budget (WP&B) and Authorization For Expenditure (AFE )  including ensuring that all supporting documents are available for final cost report and analysis that exceeds operating budget to ensure compliance with government agency regulations authorized prior to submission to Pertamina EP/SKK Migas.

- Review feasibility studies, geological & geophysical project analysis and monitoring project implementation to ensure projects are executed on time, accurately and within budget.

- Provide information on the progress of ongoing operations to identify the percentage of completed projects and update the list of contracts with contractors for accrual purposes.

- Review and  analyze GGR data provided by the team of GGR engineers, regarding prospective blocks to provide accurate data interpretation in determining drilling well coordinate in the block.

- Identify technical risk and issues within existing and  new investment and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies including the introduction of new technology.

- Prepare technical reports and presentation to communicate key information to holding.

- Monitor and implement the implementation of HSE regulations in the department to minimize any possible risks and comply with company and government regulations.

- Motivate, develop, and evaluate subordinates to ensure they have the knowledge, skills, behaviors and competencies that meet the requirements and able to support the achievement of targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Master degree in Geology / Geophysicis / Petroleum Engineering

- 15+ years’ multi-disciplinary experience in the upstream oil and gas sector

- High competence level in exploration with experience of leading multidisciplinary teams.

- Exposure to both Indonesian and International companies and projects.

- General upstream industry experience from exploration through reserves definition, appraisal, development, production, field rejuvenation and economics.

- An understanding of the full value chain for oil & gas projects.

- High degree of computer literacy
