We are seeking for best candidates to fill the vacant position:

POSITION  : PRODUCTION PLANNER

Department/Project : NFPS Project

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Working Experiences : More than 5 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract

Duration   : 6 months (extendable)

Work location   : Saipem Karimun Yard

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas services

- Fluent in English

- Excellent in Microsoft Office and computer literate

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge and management of Saipem Warehouses (Warehouse management).

- Project technical documents. Ability to read and interpret technical project documents such as isometrics, standards for supports, P&IDs, piping arrangements, plot plants, alignment sheet, project installation procedures. Ability to identify possible issues in the documentation and to promptly take corrective actions.

- Work Progress Measurement. Knowledge of measurement methodologies and material quantities, in order to control the progress of the works. Knowledge of methodologies to evaluate the activities efficiency. Ability to apply work progress measurement techniques. Ability to promptly identify criticalities in the activities progress.

- Erection sequences and production methodologies. Knowledge of erection sequences and production methodologies. Ability to: 

- Minimize the HSE hazards and verify the interdisciplinary clashes (working at height, working in confined spaces, etc.)

- Optimize the required resources and the equipment involved in the project execution (targeting cost optimization)

- Identify the sub-structures assembly breakdown.

- Fabrication Engineering project management. Knowledge of fabrication execution workflow. Knowledge of shop drawing requirements for production. Knowledge of the main method documents to be issued for operations (such as erection sequences, lifting and transportation plan, Load out plan). Knowledge of the site and project QHSE requirements. Knowledge of the mechanical completion and pre-com requirements. Ability to identify multidisciplinary project quantities, continuously monitor deviations and activate eventual management of changes process where applicable.

- Fabrication techniques and methodologies. Knowledge of HOSE fabrication criticalities, and application of risk analysis techniques. Knowledge of multidisciplinary fabrication execution (piping, structure, E/I, painting, scaffolding, handling and lifting, pre-com). Knowledge of the fabrication cycles, capability to identify criticalities and find the most efficient solution, based on continuous improvement approach. Ability to analyse, maintain and improve the production processes and tools.

- Information Systems for Fabrication & Hook-up. Knowledge of EPIC process workflow and deliverables (Engineering-Procurement-Construction- Installation-hook up). Knowledge of the Information Systems for Fabrication & Hook-ups (FMS, DACS, Primavera, SAP, etc.). Being able to input and retrieve all type of information from tools and to manage and control multi-projects yard operations. Ability to setup Information Technology tool within a yard/project.

- Machinery and tools for fabrication. Knowledge of the set-up of the most common equipment in a fabrication machine shop (i.e. lathes, milling machine, drill press, etc.). Capability to identify the most efficient tools to be used for a task. Capability to innovate and develop specific tools improving efficiency in the task execution within the area of responsibility. Capability to explain and cascade the knowledge of the tools (developing and improving Task Familiarization Card).

- Project production plan. Knowledge and understanding of fabrication sequences for different products (fixed facilities, subsea, etc.) and their own disciplines. Knowledge of resource planning and production activity duration. Ability to estimate the productive resource for a defined task. Ability to report performance indicators, identify criticalities, and propose corrective actions.

- Project Analysis and Reporting. Knowledge of the objectives of project control project analysis and reporting, knowledge of the notions of progress status and s-curves, key project indicators or parameters, earned value and productivity.

- Project Planning. Knowledge of applicable standards linked to the project planning processes. Capability to ensure planning, scheduling, development, execution, monitoring, controlling and implementation set-up for Progress Measurement System in accordance with the project complexity. Capability to ensure that any deviation from plan is promptly spotted and analysed, the final time impact is estimated, and the effect of corrective actions taken is monitored.

- Information and communication management. Knowledge of communications, information, and documentation management within a project.

- Project Management Tools & Methodologies. To know project management techniques, as:

- Project requirement and objective management

- Project activity planning and monitoring

- Project resource allocation and management

- Project cost management

- Project Risk Management

- reporting to Top Management

- Interfaces Management

- Contract Management (on top of Change)

- Installation principles

- Engineering lifecycle (Supply Chain in a broader way)

- Procurement lifecycle

- Procedures and documents for the close-out of all the project activities upon project completion (e.g. Project Record Books, project feedbacks)

- Project resource allocation and workload management. Capability to plan and optimise the resources deployment (people, materials and infrastructure required to carry out project activities) in line with the project time schedule ensuring continuous monitoring and control. Knowledge of how to collect data from available information systems, capability to assess the reliability of these data, and capability to represent the relevant data in a clear way.

- Risk management techniques and golden rules. Capability to identify, evaluate, and estimate the level of risk involved in a situation, to compare it against benchmarks or standards and to determine an acceptable level. Capability to maintain a systematic liaison with the Corporate Function ensuring full compliance and application of Corporate Guidelines and Standards.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

- Support bid activities, prioritize arrival of material, analyse yields and fabrication methods and plan production activities according to project schedule and availability of drawings, materials, and personnel.

- Release Prepare and estimate feasible Work Packs to production

- Schedule available Work Packs with due consideration to Resources workload and Projects priorities

- Set up and maintain Fabrication databases (Material Utilization Factors, Productivity)

- Set up and maintain cumulative yard workload by Resource status, consolidating current and incoming projects

- Validate and analyse Production feedback relevant to progress, productivity, spent hours and materials, assuring

- Traceability and final Reconciliation Support bidding activities, Projects set-up and yard Continuous Improvement
