PT. MACMAHON MINING SERVICES

PT. Macmahon Mining Services is a multinational mining contractor company and has a combined mining experience including projects throughout Indonesia.

We are seeking motivated, high qualified candidates to join our team in Jakarta Office and Site Based.

We welcome applications for the following roles:

1. HR Superintendent (Site Based)

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field.

2. Detailed knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and legislation.

3. Minimum 10 years experience in HR Site role.

Responsibilities:

1. To manage and organize multiple functional areas within Human Resources including providing technical direction to technical/professional and clerical staff within assigned areas

2. To manage & develop an effective and efficient two-way communication with the Hiring team on their recruitment needs, and render the right support, advice and assistance to them.

3. To support effectively and efficiently all start-up projects by establishing regular meetings with Project managers on the recruitment needs and target timelines.

4. To coordinate with Legal team on the contracts for the labour supply (non-staff), and follow-up with the labour supply agents to finalize the terms and conditions of the labour supply contracts.

5. To coordinate the implementation and administration of human resource policies and activities to ensure the availability and effective utilization of human resources for meeting the company's objectives.

6. To manage and participate in non-staff negotiations and/or recommend preliminary proposals including cost implementation projections.

7. To monitor and provide recommendation towards safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.

8. Coach, manage, develop and engage the HR Team to deliver a high quality and accurate HR service.

9. Ensure a continuous improvement approach to the HR services.

10. Mitigate ER/IR risks by ensuring all industrial instruments, employment contracts and other relevant documents are legally compliant.

11. Coach and educate site project leaders in general HR procedures, laws and obligations.

2. HR Supervisor (Site Based)

Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field.

2. Good understanding of the Indonesian Labour Law

3. At least 2 years in human resources at supervisory level

4. Experience working in the mining industry would be desirable

5. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

7. Excellent administrative skills.

Responsibilities

1. Understand and apply the Industrial Relations and Labour Law in Indonesia

2. Maintain good relationship with the employee, LKS bipartite, and community relations

3. Understand Company Regulation

4. Employee file management and document control to Macmahon standard

5. Liaise with state regulators: Immigrations, Local Manpower and comply with regulatory requirements

6. Represent the company in employment Litigation

7. Implement Macmahon standards in HR processes and procedures

8. Supervise the general activities of the HR Team

9. Prepare and maintain all HR information, records and reports accurately

10. Provide support to the business throughout the employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, promotion, and offboarding)

3. Senior Mining Engineer (Jakarta Based)

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in mine engineering.

2. Familiar with mining software such as Minescape, Surpac, and Xpac / Spry.

3. Minimum 5 years experiences operational and technical role in the mining industry.

4. Have extensive site-based mining experience with a capability in mine design, planning, data proses, mine dewatering, and field operation.

5. Experience working at mining contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

1. To provide designs, productivity planning and scheduling for new and current mining work on specific sub-section(s) of the mines in order to ensure that contractual and commercial requirements can be met in a safe, productive and cost-effective manner.

2. To monitor, record, summarize and report correspondences with client on mining technical & related activities on specific sub-section(s) of the tender in order to ensure compliance to regulations & standards, and communicate project performance.

3. To identify opportunities for improvement and initiate/participate in studies and special projects in order to optimize mining opportunities and maximize contract value.

4. To develop & communicate project designs, schedules, cost, results and recommended improvements effectively to end-users in order to allow them to be successfully implemented in the field with the support of project management.

5. To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.

6. To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization

7. To keep confidentiality of the data under the law, company rules, and agreement between company and the prospected client.

3. Recruitment Specialist (Jakarta Based)

Requirements

1. Degree Qualification in Human Resources or similar

2. Knowledgeable of recruitment practices

3. Strong and well developed written and verbal communication skills in English

4. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mining or civil construction recruitment in the industry

Responsibilities

1. Administer and maintain candidate records and status in the online recruitment system.

2. Sourcing to fill job vacancies

3. Interviewing prospective employees

4. Conducting reference checks

5. Co-ordination of medicals, drug and alcohol screens and psychometric assessments

6. Coordination of inductions as required

7. Coordination and submission of site entry forms

8. Coordinate flight and accommodation arrangements for employees mobilising to site

9. Prepare employee files with Offer of Employment, LOA, etc

10. Ensure all records are held on file in accordance with auditing requirements

11. Follow up on general queries from prospective employees

12. Regular site communication to develop rapport with site personnel and gain knowledge of site conditions in order to provide essential information to prospective employees.

13. Processing invoices related to recruitment, training and logistics ie. creating order numbers and recording on database.

14. Contributing to general improvement of HR procedures and functions
