KEPALA TEKNIK SMELTER (SMT)
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Responsible to ensure that smelter operations are carried out in compliance with the requirements set by the Indonesian government, such as in the application of environmentally friendly technologies, waste management, and environmental protection
• responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of a smelting operation, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a smelting facility.
• This position is also responsible for managing the technical team, developing and implementing procedures, identifying and addressing technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to optimize performance
• Ensuring that smelter operations are carried out in accordance with the requirements and regulations set by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), and the Environmental Monitoring Agency (BPLHD).
• Monitoring the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies and effective waste management in smelter operations.
• Ensuring environmental protection and the health of workers at the smelter site.
• Maintaining good communication with relevant departments in the company and the government to ensure that smelter operations comply with applicable legal requirements.
• Ensuring operational safety and the quality of products produced in accordance with regulations set by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) and the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin).
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of smelter facilities to keep them in good condition and meet safety and environmental requirements.
• Evaluating and designing more efficient and environmentally friendly smelter operation strategies.
• Providing the necessary reports and information to the Indonesian government regarding smelter operations.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, metallurgy, materials science, or a related field.
• At least 20 years of experience in a technical leadership or management role in the smelting industry or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful smelter operations management, including environmental compliance and safe work practices; Familiarity with Good Corporate Governance, Occupational, Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and standards related to smelter operations
• Knowledge of smelting processes and associated equipment;
• Professional certification, such as a Certified Smelter Manager (CSM) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), may be preferred or required;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian may be required, particularly for companies with international operations or partnerships;

MANAGER - AIR SEPARATION UNIT (SMT)
(Expatriate/ National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• “First time right” Engineering decisions for Air Separation Unit (ASU) along with the Owner’s engineers’ team & the technology supplier
• HAZID & HAZOP – Conversant with the hazards related to ASU & the mitigation measures
• Safety & Statutory Compliances – Ensure compliance to safety and environment & adhere to SOPs during construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the plant
• Basic knowledge of different equipment used for ASU plant like Blowers, Compressor, Heat Exchangers, Expanders, Electric Heaters, PPU units, Chillers, Pre-cooling towers, Cooling Tower, Pumps, LOX pumps, Cryogenic double walled storage, distillation column and Air Filtration
• Effectively manage the issues and mitigate the risks during the project stage and subsequently during the operations
• Operation & Maintenance of ASU plant post commissioning, achieve the monthly targets in line with the budget/set target
• Ensuring no stoppage of Smelter due to lower availability of ASU
• Life Cycle analysis of critical equipment & spares
• Optimize the specific consumption of water, power, oxygen venting, consumables based on best operating practices
What skills and experience do you need?
• Mechanical engineering background with at least 15 years relevant industrial experience in engineering, design, OEM selection, managing construction, Operations of ASU, especially in Non-Ferrous sector – preferably Copper Smelter. Experience in greenfield/brownfield project &/or international organization would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in managing ASU in Asian Non-ferrous smelters or other Indonesian origin plants will be an added advantage

Some of your duties will include:
• Ensure copper loss in tailings as per the performance guarantee during commissioning & subsequent plant operations
• “First time right” Engineering decisions for Slag Concentrator (SC) along with the Owner’s engineers’ team & the technology supplier
• HAZID & HAZOP – Conversant with the hazards related to SC & the mitigation measures
• Safety & Statutory Compliances – Ensure compliance to safety and environment & adhere to SOPs during construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the plant
• Basic knowledge of different equipment used for SC plant like Crushers, Ball Mill, SAG Mill, Compressor, Flotation Cells, Slurry Pumps, Thickeners, Filtration unit, etc.
• Effectively manage the issues and mitigate the risks during the project stage and subsequently during the operations
• Operation & Maintenance of SC post commissioning in close co-ordination with the main Smelter operation
• Ensuring no stoppage of Smelter due to lower availability of SC

What skills and experience do you need?
• Metallurgical or Chemical engineering background with at least 15 years relevant industrial experience in engineering, design, OEM selection, managing construction, Operations of Concentrator plant, especially in Non-Ferrous sector – preferably Copper Smelter. Experience in greenfield/brownfield project &/or international organization would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in managing Concentrator plant in Asian Non-ferrous smelters or other Indonesian origin plants will be an added advantage

(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Ensure the quality of copper smelter equipment at Various LSTK Contractor’s vendor/equipment manufacturer’s location and their sub-vendor location and quality of equipment, Facilities during erection and commissioning at site.
• Visit the equipment manufacture facility on regular interval of time as per equipment manufacturing schedule. Follow up the Manufacturing status and push the whole process to catch up with the schedule.
• Perform the joint inspection with manufacturer, TPI To Monitor and ensure the quality of equipment and project material.
• To perform dimensional measurement and inspection on in-process and final finished machined components.
• To conduct vendor document review on incoming inspection when required.
• To liaise and coordinate with TPI/Customer Representatives during project execution stage.
• Verifying traceability on work orders in the Test & Assembly process.
• Coordination with site construction and quality control team for quality inspection scheduling.
• Confirm supplier’s & Contractor’s understanding of all deliverables and that the supplier’s submission or delivery requirements match the project/operation & Quality expectations.

• To assist in coaching the junior QC Inspectors towards their work and job knowledge enhancements.
• To assist in planning certain continuous improvement initiatives to improve certain inspection processes.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Industrial or Engineering in related discipline;
• Have minimum 18 years’ experience in EPC / Construction industry preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as Superintendent QC Inspector & Expeditor – Mechanical Rotating, and minimum 12 years in site based with demonstrated project management - having worked with national/ global Engineering companies for Copper /Nickel/ Zinc projects in an EPC/EPCM mode;
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years in Quality control inspection and expediting in Rotating equipment Like, ball mill, Sag Mill, Conveyor belt, Steam dryer, Anode furnace, Casting wheel, Kiln, Pumps, Blower , Fan Etc in inspection corp. and 3rd party inspection agency.
• Certification/Training in Quality (must be based on ISO 9001:2008) from a recognized institution. (For example, CQE, CQA, CQT or CQI) Level I or Level II Radiographic Film Interpretation; Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with AWS; Non-destructive Testing such as MT, PT, UT, and VT will be an asset.
• A working knowledge of Construction / Structural / Inspection codes and practices such as API 570, 620 and 650, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, API 1104, ASME Section V and IX. NACE standards, ISO 8501 & SSPC Systems.
• Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing, Welding; Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required;

What skills and experience do you need? • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Power electrical /Electronic Engineering from a recognized institution; • Have minimum 15 years’ experience in EPC / Construction industry preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as Superintendent QC Inspector & Expeditor – Electrical & Instrumentation, and minimum 4 years in site based with demonstrated project management - having worked with national/ global Engineering companies for Copper /Nickel/ Zinc projects in an EPC/EPCM mode; • Minimum of 10 to 15 years in Quality control inspection of large capacity plant electrical and instrumentation equipment i.e. Motor, Transformer, VFC, Switch gear, Measuring and control panel, MCC, MCC panel , Electrical cable etc. in inspection corp. and 3rd party inspection agency. • Certification/Training in Quality (must be based on ISO 9001:2008) from a recognized institution. SENIOR ENGINEER ELECTRICAL (SMT) (National - Site Based) Some of your duties will include: • Responsible to prepare detailed MTO's (Material Take-Offs) and BOM's (Bills of Quantities); • Prepare detailed cost estimates in accordance with the Project Management System and sound industry practice; • Support projects in the start-up and execution phase as required; to provide technical direction for all engineering works from contract award through to commissioning phase; plan and control permanent material purchases; expediting procurement and logistics to ensure site crew have all the required materials, equipment, manpower and services on schedule; and, ensure that planning and programming of site activities and procurement is monitored to meet and achieve required milestones; • Actively assist the estimating department to continually enhance estimating procedures and processes; • Assist in design of PLC/DCS logic and graphical screen interfaces. Help develop standardized programming and calibration procedures. • Develop and maintain a systematic recording system for tracking all PLC/DCS changes. • Oversee new equipment installations which interface with a PLC or DCS control system. • Quality all and any assumption made in preparation of the MTO/BOQ's for discussion with the Project Manager to ensure that appropriate allowances (contingencies) or clarifications are included on site; • Check Data Sheets, Specification, scope of work for request, technical clarification, and technical evaluation of Vendor Equipment. • Directly in-charge in the field inspection activities of all mechanical/electrical and its coordination to client and Company group and ensure that all mechanical/ electrical equipment in accordance with project specifications, standard practices, code and standards. SUPERINTENDENT ENVIRONMENTAL (National - Site Based) Some of your duties will include: • Responsible to provide in depth technical environmental support to the development of company projects. • Work closely with Permitting, Government Relations, Operation, Environmental Sections, and external stakeholders to evaluate environmental risks and impacts, support technical requirements for Environmental Approval and Technical Approvals, and ensure adequate communications for the implementation of regulation and commitments during all stages of the projects. • To ensure environmental compliance of company business development; • To execute communication plan of environmental commitments in the Environmental Approval and Technical Approvals to the relevant stakeholder to ensure compliance with regulation and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan; • Compile baseline environmental data to support new projects and/or business expansion; • Analyse environmental potential risk and impacts of new projects; • Oversee environmental consultant to compile environmental documents (KA AMDAL, AMDAL, RKL/RPL, Technical Approvals, etc) • Provide technical advice to management to address significant identified potential environmental risks from new projects; • Provide sustainable approach and technology options to conduct business or process • Manage studies of permitting and financing requirements (Environmental approval and technical approvals, ESIA, etc) and coordinate with third parties in conducting studies. • Coordinate with relevant areas in conducting additional sampling/analysis related to business expansion. • Develop and manage key research projects involving targeted local, national and international institutions (government and non-government) to support risk management, permit, closure and other requirements. • Develop interpretive material and conduct stakeholder information sharing sessions to socialize important aspects of the environmental management, monitoring and performance. • Prepare and publish scientific manuscripts and reports on key environmental projects. • Provide peer review of environmental studies and reports prepared by third parties. • Provide technical input to permitting applications and stakeholder reports. • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Workplan (RKAB) and report • Participate in projects to improve environmental performance, increase environmental understanding, reduce environmental risk, and/or to meet/exceed standard criteria set by company. • Utilize Environmental Management System (EMS) tools to manage risk, changes, and improvements for business expansion and new projects; • Provide technical advice to site leadership team to ensure new development and changes in EMS meet discipline-specific standard requirements; • Ensure consistency across the projects in the environmental policy and standard implementation; • Assist in the development of Critical Performance Indicators, Site and Departmental Goals (Top Tens) to improve environmental performance and reduce risk; • Participate in the environmental aspect-impact, legal/regulation review and audit. • Prepare an annual and long-term budget for Environmental Management and Monitoring of new/developing projects and support input to overall Environmental Department or Project budget; Monitor project cost, track actual cost vs. budget costs. • Prepare Contract Request Forms (CRFs) for contracted services and track invoices payment against contracts. • Support Environmental Manager for annual Environmental budget review by Site Management. • Implement agreed financial management processes and procedures to monitor actual expenditure and to control costs. • Implement, monitor and modify agreed actions to maintain financial and overall project objectives throughout the project lifecycle. What skills and experience do you need? • Bachelor degree in Environmental engineering, and/or science related field; Postgraduate technical qualifications in science or engineering with a Master degree preferable, with 10 years or more professional experience on technical matters pertinent to the Mineral Processing/ Smelter/ EPC/ Renewable industry, including relevant post-graduate experience. • Have minimum 5 years’ experiences in similar role in managerial of Environmental Engineering as Superintendent/ Lead Environmental. • Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position. • Strong understanding on environmental performance management in mining environment, environment government regulations; Have a working knowledge of Environmental Management System (EMS); Strong understanding on international guidelines related to environmental; Experienced in conducting multiple media environmental sampling and monitoring; Strong skill in data analysis and statistical analysis. • Has ISO14001 awareness, auditor training and certification and AMDAL training and certification. • Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills; • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate. SUPERINTENDENT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY (National - Site Based) Some of your duties will include: • Responsible to utilize strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to guide the staff Occupational Health & Safety to achieve full compliance with all legal and other requirements. • To manage side wide safety operations related issues for all project activities, to hold all employees accountable for high OHS standards, and promote a culture of OHS excellence. • To manage company objectives and all applicable Government of Indonesia regulatory and permit obligations for OHS, with reporting, compliance, and other statutory requirements. • To be accountable for the execution of plans/projects in each of these functions and responsible for the training and development of employees in OHS Department. • To manage and find the solution all operational OHS issues and improves safety performance among organization of site project (including Business Partner). • To act as a Manager OHS cover sitewide activity during Manager SHLP was not available on site. • Audits compliance to company safety rules and policies, procedures and programs as well as Indonesian Government requirements. • Assists Departmental Managers in the implementation/Supervision of Safety/Loss Control activities; Working closely with respective Manager in his area responsibilities to ensure all OHS applied properly. • Support and work with all stakeholder in OHS Services in the implementation of emergency response procedures in his area of responsibilities. • Support and work with internal team in the implementation of OHH programs in his area of responsibilities. • Advises line management regarding safety rules, regulation, trends, statistics and compliance with rules and policies. • Participate at the accident investigation, observations, safety Interactions, Inspections, Safety meetings to assure that program are working as intended. • Prepares work schedule and weekly report. • Ensures compliance with company Standard Task Procedures. • Assist line supervisor to have observations/Safety Interactions for their positions. • Provide required resources to achieve the compliance of mine operation safety laws and regulations. • Analyses data from accident investigations, observations, inspections, and other sources to assure management that programs are working as intended. Proposes alternatives to programs that are not working as intended. • Implements and maintains Emergency Response Plan Procedures. • Conduct annual side wide risk register (IBPR) and follow up priority as appropriate • Manage Site Wide Risk Register and evaluation of the implementation layer audit for Top 10 High Risk to each department involvement • Responsible to the preparation material (C&P Monthly, MCS, SEE Quarterly Meeting, Board Directors Meeting), etc for management, government and corporate officials. • Responsible to the preparation and submittal for accident/incident report to Mine Inspector, monthly report OHS information (internal and external), quarterly for DOME and annual reporting of the department’s activities. • Assist Manager OHS to comply with all the OHS mandatory requirements for Company and business operations. • Propose and manage section budget and spending as per company policies to achieve efficient operation. • Monitor and control overhead charges, through interrogation of reports on a monthly basis. Report on variance to the OHS Manager and identify improvement opportunities. What skills and experience do you need? • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety qualifications or relevant qualifications with minimum 12 years of experience working in Mining industries; Post Graduate (Master Degree in OHS) is preferable; • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role in managerial role as Superintendent OHS Operations; had operational experience in Health, Safety or Loss Prevention or related field Smelter and or Mining Mineral Processing is preferable; • Understand Mining and Smelter business process; Understand the mining and construction process involving at least 100 employees. • Demonstrate HSE skill in mining, milling or heavy industry, engineering, project management, human resource management, training or training development with program implementation; Managed OHS Operational of Mining/ Smelter Processing activity minimum 7 years; Has Emergency Response Team Experience. • The candidate should possess HSE System Trainings (Investigation, Risk Assessment or other HSE Trainings supported the system); • Understand Loss Control Management philosophies; Have strong knowledge about safety, health & environment standard, Knowledge of Internal Audit, Knowledge of SMKP Internal Audit , and the implementations (SMKP, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISPS Port, Security Management System, OHSAS 18001, Safety Auditor, Risk Management process) and government safety regulation; understand about HSE standard on Mining activities; Familiar with Safety management at all levels. • Have strong knowledge of Accident Incident Investigation Method, Work Permit Management System, Mining, Construction, Indonesia Regulation in DEMR. • Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position. • Registered Auditor for SMKP Minerba refer to KepDirjen 185/2019 in DEMR and has Experience as Lead Auditor in SMKP Minerba DEMR will be as added value; • Hold an operational inspector certificate or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of positions; poses relevant technical inspector certificate; Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; innovative. • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
