Purpose of the Role:
Lead PTVI’s work to become an even more inclusive and diverse organization and will be responsible for defining and implementing policies and measures to promote an organizational culture that embraces and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion in PTVI. This includes designing, creating and implementing plans to promote diversity, secure inclusion of all within the organization and to implement measures against discrimination.
Accountabilities:
1. Lead the development of PTVI DEI policy and support the implementation of the policy.
2. Advise PTVI senior management on diversity and inclusion issues and creating programs, trainings and values around this.
3. Develop standards and guidelines around inclusion of persons with disabilities and ensure these are incorporated into relevant policies and practices i.e., recruitment, Talent Management and People Development as well as Rewards.
4. Ensure that PTVI’s training and leadership programs are developed to reflect DEI best practice and PTVI’s values. 5. Identifying external trends and best practices that will increase diversity amongst the PTVI’s workforce.
6. Lead on establishing good working practices/models that ensure all staff feel valued and supported including creating and supporting internal networks.
7. Maintain relationships with diversity related businesses, with the intention of working together and improving PTVI’s brand.
8. Ensure that the organization follows appropriate legislation and employment law regulations around non-discrimination, equity and inclusion.

Senior HR Business Partner

Purpose of the Role:
To serve as internal consultant assigned in operation area department(s) of which the main accountability is to consult, govern, observe, analyze, facilitate and advise/recommend the improvement of organization and leadership effectiveness and PTVI governance and norms compliance to ensure the management practices are effective and efficient in line with PTVI business objectives.
Accountabilities:
1. Consult area management on HR procedures including business processes, procedures and policies to ensure its successful and effective implementation in their respective areas.
2. Advise the area management on the organization and leadership effectiveness to ensure its alignment with the company business requirement including vision, mission, imperatives, goals and objectives.
3. Govern individual competency assessment processes based on role profile to identify their development needs and career planning.
4. Monitor the implementation of Individual Development Plan (IDP) in order to maintain sustainability of employee’s development in all Areas.
5. Enable Non Staff performance appraisal process in order to ensure its comply with CLA and the guidelines provided by Management.
6. Facilitate Staff Up performance appraisal process using CSP System in order to ensure its comply with Vale norms and the guidelines provided by Management.
7. Assist the area management in identifying and analyzing the work force requirements in order to ensure its alignment with the Company targets and objectives.
8. Coordinate interface functions between area management and respective HR functions for the resolution of issues to ensure immediate solutions area provided as expected
