The Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR). The mining area covers an area of 30 km² which is under the sixth generation Contract of Work (COW) with a total area of 1,303 km². The Martabe Gold Mine is located on the west side of the island of Sumatra, Batang Toru Sub-district, North Sumatra Province.
The Martabe Gold Mine began full production on 24 July 2012 and has a resource base as of 30 June 2022, of 6.5 million oz of gold and 64 million oz of silver. The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is more than 7 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver per year.
PT Agincourt Resources involves more than 3,000 employees and contractors, around 99% of whom are Indonesian citizens and more than 70% are from local villages.
PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) holds 95% shares of PT Agincourt Resources. PTDTN is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. with 60% share ownership and PT Pamapersada Nusantara with 40% share ownership, as well as part of PT Astra International Tbk business group. A total of 5% of PT Agincourt Resources' shares are owned by South Tapanuli District Government and North Sumatra Provincial Government.
To strengthen the existing Mine Geology team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for a candidate to fill the role:
OPERATOR 1 – MOBILE CRANE (PRO 2307055)
Posisi ini akan ditempatkan di Site Martabe di Processing (Maintenance) Department dan melapor langsung kepada Supervisor - Material Handling.
Tugas Operator 1 – Mobile Crane adalah untuk memberikan dukungan 'langsung' kepada Supervisor - Material Handling, untuk memastikan bahwa semua aktivitas pengangkatan dan pengangkutan yang dilakukan oleh tim Material Handling dilakukan secara profesional, aman, rajin, tepat waktu, hemat biaya, dan tepat biaya, seraya mempertimbangkan kebutuhan utama Pabrik Pengolahan dan infrastruktur mesin pabrik dan peralatan serta perangkat terkait yang dipeliharanya.
Pelamar untuk posisi ini diharapkan memiliki kualifikasi dan pengalaman berikut:
1. Memiliki kualifikasi Crane Operation dan Rigging yang disetujui, terutama memiliki SIO dari Minerba atau Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan.
2. Memiliki Surat Izin Mengemudi Alat Berat yang diakui dan masih berlaku.
3. Terutama memiliki kualifikasi Senior First-Aid.
4. Berpengalaman di posisi serupa dalam lingkungan pertambangan, minyak, dan gas atau industri berat serupa.
5. Memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang standar pertambangan kelas dunia dan standar keselamatan terkait (ANZS, BS, IEC & ASTM).
6. Pengetahuan menyeluruh tentang pengembangan dan persetujuan rencana pengangkatan yang sesuai dengan mobile cranes tertentu hingga kapasitas 160t.
7. Memahami panduan pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan mobile crane.
8. Pengetahuan menyeluruh tentang bahaya kerja dalam industri pengolahan mineral dan teknik pengangkatan yang aman.
9. Kemampuan untuk melakukan inspeksi dan pemeliharaan rutin pada perangkat pengangkatan, seperti chains, slings, shackles, spreaders, hooks, blocks, clamps, tie-downs, lever hoists, dan chain blocks,
10. Pengetahuan menyeluruh tentang perangkat, peralatan dan perlengkapan pengangkatan yang dapat diterima.
11. Kemampuan untuk memahami dan menjalankan instruksi lisan dan tertulis secara efisien, dan menunjukkan ‘Prosedur Kerja Aman’ kepada bawahan.
12. Kemampuan untuk memperkirakan jumlah pekerja, material, dan peralatan yang diperlukan untuk tugas atau proyek dan mempersiapkan laporan dan menyimpan catatan yang akurat.
13. Terutama dapat melatih personel dalam mengoperasikan peralatan material handling seperti Mobile Cranes, Truck mounted Hiab hoists, Forklifts, Overhead Cranes, teknik ‘Slinging & Rigging’ yang disetujui, dan teknik pemberian aba-aba ‘Dogman’ crane yang disetujui.
14. Terutama memiliki pengalaman dalam tahap konstruksi proyek pertambangan dan memiliki bakat mekanik sewajarnya dengan beberapa keterampilan pemasangan dan pengelasan.
SENIOR ENGINEER – MECHANICAL PROJECT (MPDE 2307053)
This position will be based at Martabe Site in MPDE Department and reports directly to Superintendent - Construction.
The role of the Senior Engineer – Mechanical Project is to:
• Full-field responsibility for the safe and timely construction execution of capital works projects, inclusive of the Tailings Filtration Plant project and other capital works projects.
• Inclusive of monitoring and controlling construction contractor workforces, progress, design and specification compliance and all QA/QC systems.
• Direct Supervision for multiple disciplines, inclusive of earthworks, concrete, structural, mechanical and piping.
• Significant supervisory experience on greenfields and brownfields mining projects.
• Contribute to scopes of work, tender packages, tender evaluations and project management tools to ensure that the Company is financially and legally protected while achieving optimal value on project expenditure.
• Contribute to project reporting inclusive of contractor progress, delays and opportunities, scope changes and all potential contract variations.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University; desirable Post Graduate in Project Management, Business studies or second engineering field.
2. Have 15 years or more in a Senior Engineering and Construction position, overseeing large-scale mining Construction projects.
3. Significant experience directly Supervising construction contractors in the erection and commissioning of cone crushing, screening and multiple conveyor process plants.
4. Significant experience assembling power generation plants either coal fired, diesel or heavy fuel oil.
5. Successful track record of overseeing construction contractors in a safe and efficient manner, across multiple sites.
6. Ability to interpret construction schedules and drive activities to mitigate any critical path risks.
7. Ability to interpret and implement engineering designs across multiple disciplines.
8. Ability to implement and manage field QA/QC programs across multiple disciplines.
9. Thorough knowledge of Indonesian and international design standards.
10. Superior ability to identify constructability issues and develop mitigation techniques with the installation contractors.
11. Superior work ethic, be able to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect for the local people and their culture.
SENIOR MINE GEOLOGIST – RESERVE DEVELOPMENT (MG 2307054)
This position will be based at Martabe Site in Mine Geology Department and reports directly to Superintendent of Mine Grade Control.
The role of the Senior Mine Geologist – Reserve Development is to supervise all activities associated with non-production Geology Department projects including resource/reserve development, and Geometalurgical and AMD study as required. To collate and analyze geological data and provide interpretation, estimation, reconciliation, and documentation of project outcomes.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Geology; desirable master’s degree in Geological Science.
2. Have more than 7 years’ experience of mine operation or exploration and/or development experience.
3. Know about mine geology and/or resources development and/or exploration geology.
4. Expected to be competent on technical decisions, implement programs and prioritize work on an assigned project with little or no guidance.
5. Supervisory skills are well developed and demonstrated through the assignment of one or lower-level geologists and geotechnical assistants to the projects.
6. Have a deep knowledge of percussion and diamond drilling practices, including drill hole sampling practices and an appreciation for sampling theory.
7. Desirable have experience in supervising technical professionals and non-technical staff, and also have understanding in estimation geostatistics, substantial experience in resource estimation and acid rock drainage processes.
8. Have the ability to communicate in English (active/passive).
9. Computer literate, including Databases management, with exposure to 3D geological modelling software (Surpac or Micromine or Leapfrog), and for data processing and manipulation is preferable; desirable familiar with GIS software, such as MapInfo.
10. Desirable know safety awareness.
OPERATOR 1 – MOBILE CRANE (PRO 2307055)
This position will be based at Martabe Site in Processing (Maintenance) Department and reports directly to Supervisor - Material Handling.
The role of the Operator 1 – Mobile Crane is to provide ‘hands-on’ support for the Supervisor - Material Handling, to ensure that all lifting and transport activities carried out by the Material Handling team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost-efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plant and associated infrastructure’s mechanical plant and equipment and apparatus being attended to.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Possess approved Crane Operating and Rigging qualifications, desirable SIO Minerba or Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan.
2. Possess a valid recognised HE Driver’s licence.
3. Desirable have Senior First-Aid qualifications.
4. Experience in similar positions within the mining, oil and gas or similar heavy industrial environment.
5. A good understanding of world-class mining standards and associated safety standards (ANZS, BS, IEC & ASTM).
6. Thorough knowledge of developing and approving lift plans to suit specific mobile cranes up to 160t capacity.
7. Interpretation of mobile crane operating and maintenance manuals.
8. Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry and safe lifting techniques.
9. Ability to perform routine inspections and maintenance on lifting apparatus, e.g. chains, slings, shackles, spreaders, hooks, blocks, clamps, tie-downs, lever hoists, and chain blocks,
10. Thorough knowledge of acceptable lifting devices, apparatus and attachments.
11. Ability to understand and efficiently carry out written and oral instructions, and demonstrate ‘Safe Working Procedures’ to subordinates.
12. Ability to estimate the amounts of labour, materials, and equipment required for tasks or projects and prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
13. Desirable can train personnel in operating material handling apparatus, e.g. Mobile Cranes, Truck mounted Hiab hoists, Forklifts, Overhead Cranes, approved ‘Slinging & Rigging’ techniques, and approved ‘Dogman’ crane signalling techniques.
14. Desirable has experience in the construction phase of a mining project and possesses a reasonable mechanical aptitude with some fitting and welding skills.
