Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Indonesia Operations is looking for the following professionals:

Managerial positions:

1. COMPLETION MANAGER

Responsible for strategizing, directing, and providing technical expertise for wells completion and intervention strategies and solutions of overall completion engineering and operation to maximize hydrocarbon resource addition, production and value creation.

HSE

Lead and drive safe working culture to meet HSE target and requirements in accordance with Company’s HSE policies and corporate governance in order to ensure safe working environment and practices for the personnel and contractors to perform the job safely.

Plan & Strategize

Strategize the formulation of well completion and intervention engineering, operation strategies, and philosophy in various E&P phases in line with company’s strategies to ensure maximum value creation for well cost and sustainable business growth.

Operational Excellence

Lead and provide strategic direction as “Centre of Technical Excellence” for well completion and intervention engineering matters to ensure synergy throughout all phases of E&P cycle from acquisition, exploration, development, production and abandonment.

Lead the improvement and enhancement in well completion and intervention design and operation efficiency.

Resource Optimization

Strategize, lead and provide direction for the long term deployment and resource strategy for manpower, equipment, and material acquisition for completion and intervention activities to facilitate the requirement of PETRONAS Indonesia Operations and Joint Venture Management sections and to ensure existing resources and infrastructures remain at the highest standards of technical capability to undertake well completion and intervention for sustainable business growth and for early hydrocarbon monetization.

Technical Compliance

Lead technical compliance in well completion and intervention projects to ensure technical integrity and excellence through established process and technical reviews in order to comply with company’s manual and guideline requirement, host country requirement, industry standards, and best practices.

Ensure the presence and integrity of technical references relevant to well completion by driving for the development and updating of technical manuals, standard operation procedures, and guideline to facilitate as reference for the design and operation.

Technology

Drive the evaluation, acquisition and implementation of fit for purpose technology for the improvement of completion and intervention operations to optimize cost and maximizes value creation. Formulate and drive the implementation of matured technology for well completion and well intervention for maximizing values creation to well design and operation. Lead and drive the development and continuous enhancement of well completion technology inventories in order to enhance overall well completion performance, safety, and maximizing the  value creation for the well.

Capability

Review and determine capability requirement for well completion disciplines and develop staff and leaders well completion disciplines to facilitate continuous capability enhancement and technical competencies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Drilling, Petroleum or any other relevant engineering

• Min. 12 years of experience in wells operation and intervention

• Min. 10 years of experience in well completion, intervention or any relevant well function

• Certified for IWCF Well Intervention Level 2 or Drilling Supervisor Level 4

• Knowledgeable in relevant standards and policies, possess good analytical skill and well experience with relevant computer software/programs i.e., Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, drilling and completion related software.

• All candidates must be proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written).

2. EXPLORATION DRILLING MANAGER

Responsible for driving, implementing, executing and delivering respective asset's overall wells activities to maximize resource addition, hydrocarbon resource addition and value creation for E&P Business in line with company's corporate agenda and also to achieve smooth and efficient operation, optimum operating cost and safeguarding the safety of personnel, property and protection of environment objectives and aspiration.

Plan & Strategy

Drive the formulation of respective assets’ exploration/development well activities and implementation to achieve strategic interest of the company in line with E&P Business strategies to ensure maximum value creation and sustainable business growth.

Strategize and drive respective assets’ exploration/development well delivery as per CPB, WPB and AFE in line with company’s objective to deliver wells operations within budget, on time and according to specification.

Operational Excellence

Deliver resource addition and reserves monetization targets through exploration/development projects to maximize profitability and investment returns and achieve benchmarked of world class well delivery and performance. Enforce corporate governance and business process transparency to respective asset’s on exploration/development of drilling project execution and delivery to safeguard the company’s Integrity.

Mitigation Plans

Drive respective assets’ mitigation plans based on drilling risk assessment findings in line with corporate risk so as to eliminate or arrest unacceptable drilling operations deviations and assurance.

Drilling Contracting Strategy

Drive the formulation and planning of respective assets’ drilling contracting strategy to manage contractors, cultures, maximize value, optimize drilling schedule and resources whilst at the same time uphold integrity and security of the procurement and contracting processes.

Technical Compliance

Drive the implementation of exploration/development drilling program, evaluate and endorse drilling proposal for respective assets’ exploration/development project to ensure continuous and sustainable value creation.

Resource Optimization

a) Strategize and plan for exploration/development drilling resources optimization to deliver effective, efficient and quality drilling solutions that add value to business acquisitions, operational excellence as well as achieve reserve monetization target

b) Provide strategic solutions and leadership role in managing critical subsurface and well requirements interface (i.e. statutory body and host government) to ensure safe and reliable uninterrupted operations.

New Technology

Drive the acquisition and implementation of new and novel technologies in respective assets’ to improve wells operations and to optimize wells costs whilst ensuring highest standard of technical integrity to maximize value creation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Drilling, Petroleum or any other relevant engineering

• Min. 10 years of experience in wells development/exploration operation

• Min. 7 years of experience in well engineering

• Certified for IWCF Drilling Supervisor Level 2 or Drilling Supervisor Level 4

• Knowledgeable in relevant standards and policies, possess good analytical skill and well experience with relevant computer software/programs i.e., Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, Wellcat, Drillbench, related 3rd party drilling software.

• Experience in MPD/PMCD applications.

• Experience in deepwater drilling.

• All candidates must be proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written)

Senior officer positions:

3. SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER

Responsible for planning, leading, supervising and executing all aspects of drilling engineering works for exploration/development drilling safely, efficient and cost effective according to industry standard and best practices in line with company's corporate agenda.

Plan & Strategy

Improve wells efficiency to maximize the effectiveness of drilling and to contribute to the improvement of the work process and technology applications.

Operational Excellence

Strategize, plan and schedule the preparation of the drilling operations to ensure all activities are operated in safe and cost-effective manner. Reduce nonproductive time and cost. Improve drilling and workover efficiency by conducting innovative studies and lessons learnt mechanism and the application of specific recommendations based on the studies and lessons learnt. Plan and implement drilling operation to ensure meeting performance target and compliance to health, safety and environment (HSE), regulatory and standards requirement to contribute to overall project economic.

Tender Packages

Review, analyze and modify the base requirement for the scope of work and technical specifications for the tender packages in order to be in line with project requirement and meeting the minimum cost concept and HSE requirement.

Drilling Data Services

Capture, consolidate, and verify all drilling technical information's related to wells and disseminate to Drilling Engineering System section for centralization data as to ensure everybody in drilling division is well updated on drilling lesson learnt, drilling performance, drilling KPI (Key Performance Indicator), technologies deploy for drilling activities in future.

Health, Safety & Environment Compliance

Undertake highest safety precautions and compliance during all phases of drilling activities to safeguard the personnel and the company's asset and also uphold the company's image as a prudent operator.

Technology Development

Plan, monitor and review wells technology advancement to ensure continuous availability of matured, cost effective and cutting edge technology solution to support economic and sustainable development and production of hydrocarbon recovery technology at related fields.

Field Development Plan (FDP)

Plan, evaluate and execute well engineering activities in conducting and supporting FDP study to maximize drilling efficiency during appraisal and development well activities to ensure optimum drilling design and support economic development of hydrocarbon recovery technology at related fields.

Procurement Document

Plan, prepare and review required procurement documentation to ensure competent and cost-effective drilling contractors are selected to safeguard successful execution of drilling program.

Capability, Intellectual Property and Knowledge Management

Plan and execute well capability to ensure retention of valuable knowledge towards establishment of institutionalized capability, exploitation of intellectual properties and providing competitive advantage in venturing into hydrocarbon recovery technology globally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Drilling, Petroleum or any other relevant engineering

• Min. 8 years of experience in wells operation

• Min. 5 years of experience in well engineering

• Certified for IWCF Drilling Supervisor Level 2 or Drilling Supervisor Level 4

• Knowledgeable in relevant standards and policies, possess good analytical skill and well experience with relevant computer software/programs i.e., Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, Wellcat, Drillbench, related 3rd party drilling software.

• Experience in MPD/PMCD applications.

• Experience in deepwater drilling operations is advantage.
