PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) is a prominent mining company in Indonesia, specialising in the exploration and mining of precious metals such as gold and silver. The Company’s primary operating site is the Martabe Gold Mine in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra, while our headquarters in Jakarta facilitates and manages the corporate functions of the Company.

The area of the Martabe Gold Mine is based on a sixth-generation 30-year Contract of Work with the Government of Indonesia. The total area is 130,252 hectares, or 1,303 km² covering South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli, and Mandailing Natal Regencies. The operational area of the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli Regency is 509 hectares as of January 2022.

As of 30 September 2023, our mineral resources amounted to of 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver. Production The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is more than 7 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver per year..

PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) holds 95% shares of PT Agincourt Resources. PTDTN is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. with 60% share ownership and PT Pamapersada Nusantara with 40% share ownership, as well as part of PT Astra International Tbk business group. A total of 5% of PT Agincourt Resources' shares are owned by South Tapanuli District Government and North Sumatra Provincial Government.

To strengthen the existing Community Development team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role: 

SENIOR SUPERVISOR – COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE

(CD 2405031)

This position will be located at the Martabe Site in the Community Development Department and will report directly to the Superintendent - Community Infrastructure.

The Senior Supervisor - Community Infrastructure holds a specialized position in civil engineering and infrastructure, focusing on the creation of design and budgeting programs, daily supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of community infrastructure programs and projects. This role also involves providing civil and technical advice, offering alternative solutions to challenges, and advising on proposed projects based on community needs. To ensure accurate and current information, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining updated community infrastructure data, reporting, and progress reports for each project. In day-to-day operations, cultivating positive relationships with the community and relevant stakeholders is integral to this role.

Applicants for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, social sciences, or a related field.

2. Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

3. Demonstrate extensive experience in Project Management.

4. Proficient in utilizing infrastructure software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.

5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings.

6. Possess a working knowledge of construction methods and safety standards.

7. Capable of conducting technical analysis in building design, calculation, and construction.

8. Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills with various stakeholders.

9. Proficient in negotiation, analytical, and conceptual skills.

10. Demonstrate effective leadership and influential team-building abilities.

11. Able to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.

12. Knowledgeable in developing databases and administration reports for program activities.

13. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management.

14. Hold a valid Driver's License (Class C).

ENGINEER – PROJECT PLAN AND CONTROL

This role will be situated at the Martabe Site within the MPDSE Department, with direct reporting responsibilities to the Superintendent of Project Plan and Control.

The Engineer in Project Planning and Control is tasked with supporting the Superintendent in overseeing various project scopes within the realms of study/planning, execution, and supervision. The responsibilities of this role include:

• Developing designs for diverse projects, encompassing project schedules, staging plans, and requirements for materials and equipment.

• Ensuring project deliverables adhere to schedules and meet specified standards.

• Compiling regular progress reports to track project advancement.

• Collaborating with procurement to address material requirements for projects.

• Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the projects.

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil or mining engineering; however, candidates with equivalent experience and lower degrees will also be considered. A relevant master’s degree would be advantageous.

2. Certification as an engineer, such as IPP/IPM PII or other related certifications, is preferred.

3. A minimum of 7 years of experience in project work is required.

4. Familiarity with mining and earthwork is necessary, with prior gold mining experience being an additional asset.

5. Proficiency in project management, heavy equipment management, and earthwork quality control is essential.

6. Understanding of design/planning governance, project execution, and supervision is required.

7. Proficiency in English language skills, including listening, speaking, and writing, is necessary.

8. High exposure to establishing S curves is desirable.

9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are desirable qualities.

10. Familiarity with gold mining waste/tailings management is an added advantage.
