PT Kemitraan MNK BME (KMB) a subsidiary of PT BME Indonesia and PT Multi Nitrotama Kimia, is an integrated blasting services company with advanced technology that offers a comprehensive range of products and services for surface and underground mines.

The Company is looking for highly motivated Technical Service Engineer who is talented, adaptive, initiative, and able to build collaborative team in achieving operational excellence to fill the following position:

Technical Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research, develop and test blasting optimization technology and analyze models, as well as provide high-tech consulting services to internal and external stakeholders on request to advertise KMB capability thus ensuring KMB remains the supplier/service provider of choice.

•  Provide KMB business units with expert technical decisions, information, and advice on product mix to meet existing and future market needs.

•  Use KMB Mining Services’ blasting expertise to the best advantage of the company and its stakeholders by applying blasting expertise to the various KMB Indonesia business units in a professional manner.

•  Develop the art of consulting and working with clients, technical and production staff, in creating optimal solution and adding value to client projects.

•  Attend customer queries and ensure speedy resolution of these queries.

•  Provide high level of technical support/consultancy services.

•  Proactively manage high risk customers and identify corrective measure.

•  Test blasting optimization technology to provide the highest quality blasting products and services available.

•  Conduct and manage blasting risk assessments, blast optimization designs, blast performance results, specialist blast designs, numerical modelling for critical blasts and submit relevant reports within the prescribed timeframes. Assist in providing advanced technical training for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or Electro Engineering.

•  Minimum 2 years working experience in drilling & blasting engineering and consulting in the field of blasting.

•  Certificate of Blasting Competency Holder (KJL 2).

•  Knowledge of blasting technology/systems/software.

•  Technical skills in blast designs.

•  Quality management skills.

•  Sound knowledge of applicable blasting software.

•  Technical knowledge of mining explosives and services.

•  Good working knowledge of the explosive’s regulations.

•  Knowledge of SHERQ.

•  Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

•  Intermediate skills in Ms Office.

•  Will be placed at the project site.

•  Male 35 years old
