A. Informasi Pekerjaan / Job Information

Job Title : Senior Exploration Geologist

Department : GGR

Direct Report to : General Manager

 

B. Fungsi Utama Jahatan / Job Summary

Designated as senior exploration geologist. Conduct regional studies and mapping, provides guidelines and directions to all assets on potential areas in Bintuni Basin, Sequence Stratigraphy and Petrography and be able to develop basin and reservoir exploration models.

 

C. Tanggung Jawab Jabatan / Responsibility

1. To perform regional and prospect specific assessment of exploration potential of exploration block.

2. To design and plan complex studies to identify new prospects, and the hydrocarbon systems, develop new play concepts, and qualified models of the subsurface.

3. To conduct risk and uncertainty analysis to estimate the range of HC resources calculation.

4. To develop high quality prospect inventory.

5. To identify potential near field exploration opportunities.

6. To prepare well planning, execution and operational for exploration and appraisal wells.

7. To assist in the compilation of data and complete the reporting of exploration activities.

8. To build 1D/ 2D/ 3D basin modelling in Bintuni Basin.

 

D. Hubungan Kerja / Work Relationship

Internal : All Departments

External : Any government or private institution related to exploration activity, such as SKKMIGAS, MIGAS, Geological Contractors, etc.

 

E. Persyaratan Jabatan / Job Specification

Pengalaman / Experience: - Experience 20-25 years in relevant elastic and carbonate exploration geology, preferably experience of Eastern Indonesia.

Kualifikasi / Qualification :

- BSc/Master degree in Geoscience. Familiar with SKKMIGAS regulation. - Experience in creating basin modelling.

- Preferably experience in geochemistry analysis. Good interpersonal and communication skill.

- Good leadership, planning and strategic thinking. Track record in maturing and applying new technologies.
