Premium Technica banking on mining to boost heavy equipment sales

The company?s operation manager, Leonardi Indrakama, said the target represents a 50 percent rise from last year's sale of US$ 4 million. He said around 75 percent of the revenues are contributed by sales to mining sector of spare parts for heavy duty (offroad) trucks.
The company sells parts produced by OEMs (original equipment manufactures), such as Knorr-Bremse, ZF and York, which produce original spare parts for heavy duty European and American trucks, namely Volvo, Renault, Mercy, Iveco, Scania, Daf and Man, and a number of other well-known brands
In order to widen its market, the company plans to open at least three new branches, namely Medan, Pekanbaru and Manado. At present, the company has branches in Surabaya, Balikpapan and Banjarmasin. It is also considering to open new branches in Tarakan, East Kalimantan, and Semarang.
Its key customers include PT Saptaindra Sejati (SIS), PT Rahman Abadi Jaya, Petrosea, Leighton, and PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA). (giok)
