We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

GM Operations (Engineering and Construction, Expatriate)

(Assignment: Head Office)

 Lead, manage and develop the Engineering & Construction Operations such that the business fully supports the company strategies and delivers the annual budget as set by Company.

Requirements:

• Min bachelor degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering from reputable university, preferably in Mechanical experiences.

• Min 15 (fifteen) years professional experiences in related field, out of which 5 years in senior managerial position with at least 5 years in a senior position in a  construction  contracting business.

• Minimum 3 years international experiences working with EPC multinational companies.

• Broad knowledge of commercial and industrial construction, engineering and design.

• Professional detailed knowledge of construction in large projects.

• Proven track record in running large remote construction projects.

• Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skill.

• The ability to manage all aspects of business commercially and contractually with clients.

• The ability to mentor and develop ECM team members.

• Conduct detailed project reviews to ensure projects are on track from a budget and schedule perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the project engineering department and develops the company's project engineering strategy.

• Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit

• Responsible for overseeing construction, quality, scheduling and cost management of projects.

• Deploying various methodologies to analysis processes and recommending modification to minimize escalations, reduce rejections, Improve operating Efficiency, control variability, cost and reduce cycle time.

• Lead and responsible with all the engineering technology implementation and effectiveness.

• Understands customers' requirements and proposes solutions in order to manage client relationship and satisfaction.

• Participates in projects prior to the beginning of exploration, design, construction, and unit selection supervision.

• Develops relationships between departments to achieve company goals.

• Performs administrative supervisory tasks including evaluating employee performance, source necessary skills and resources based on manpower forecast to provide managerial supports in administrative matters.

• Develop, manage and control the capital budget for the department and supervise the preparation of funding requests for capital projects to ensure all engineering activities are comply with the current procedures and regulations. This consists of:

PEOPLE & ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

(Assignment: Head Office)

  Plan, direct, and manage People and Organization Development strategy, tools, programs & activities to support People and Organization Development effectiveness in order to achieve organization strategy, and company goals.

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor Degree in HR Management/Psychology and or min. 7 years experiences in HR position, especially in Organization Development and People Development area.

• Having knowledge on the area of System and Organization development concepts, system, and processes, especially in Petrosea line services ( Mining, Engineering or Oil and Gas)

• Strong analytical thinking and conceptual thinking (understanding on Organization Improvement areas)

• Attention  to details

• Good communication skill with all levels / ability to build relations with people

• Fluent in English (oral and written)

• Ability to maintain confidentiality data / information

• Willing to work extra miles

• Able to work with multiple party in the organization

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for budget in people and organization development area.

• Establish organizational analysis end to end process (man power planning - reporting) in order to achieve an effectiveness organization.

• Lead and review cascading process of corporate strategy map BoD, in order to ensure business target/ goals and below activity aligned with corporate strategy.

• Lead Strategic Report related with Performance Management company to give a whole description about performance employee aligned with performance company.

• Lead and review all documents related with Human Capital business process (People & Organization development documents) comply with management system procedures.

• Responsible for all learning development activities include Development Need analysis & Plan and Infrastructure learning system in order to achieve people development process In term of promotes employee’s competence and performance.

• Establish & lead the implementation of individual Development Plan in company with relation to other section based on core/technical competency for corporate employee.

• Lead in development and implementation of learning system development including improve in learning method, assessment, effectiveness review and maximizing utilization.

• Responsible to promote, socialize and branding people development program to all employees in order to employee branding and company image related with people development area.

• Lead and establish process of Talent Management Program, succession planning, key employee retention design, change management and development in company with relation to other section, including as assessor for internal talent assessment, and also handling talent pool monitoring & reporting & Learning.

• Demonstrating willingness to learn new skill and continuously look for improvement in work processes and results.

• Provides a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and procedures.

• Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

PLANNING MANAGER

(Assignment: Head Office)

Manage preparation, submission and implementation of projects in timely manner and provide Internal or external planning advice to mitigate risk and achieve company targets.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor Degree preferably Engineering

• Preferably from the same industry at least ten years of experience in the planning profession

• Must be innovative, detail-oriented, experienced in highly complex projects

• Competent in Project Management Software such as Primavera and Microsoft Project

• Experienced in multidiscipline EPC projects

Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery and implementation of the project’s planning requirements as they relate to its projects and programmes

• Working with Project Managers, Project Services Manager and Directors (as appropriate) to deliver planned performance outputs to time, budget commitments and quality specifications ensuring the planning and commercial integrity of all projects

• Maintain regular and accurate reporting to management including analysis and evaluation of progress, risks and issues and performance measures with respect to ensuring compliance and client assurance in context of the above accountabilities and corporate policies.

• Develop and maintain a good relationship with and work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and consultants to ensure that the best possible interests of the organisation are achieved in its own planning applications and permissions and as far as possible those of third parties.

PROCUREMENT SUPERINTENDENT

(Assignment: Head Office)

  

Lead procurement function during FEED stage and closely coordinate with Engineering group QA/QC group, SHE group, Project Control group and other functions within the Project Management team in efficient and effective manners in order to achieve project target for delivering good practice (QCDSM) of Procurement process in which conform to Company Procedures a Business Ethics.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering, preference in Mechanical

• Min. 10 years experiences in Procurement / Contract project and or operation preferably in Mining Processing Plant (i.e. Gold, Copper)

• Good knowledge of the equipment/materials according to international standard specifications

• Good knowledge of relevant subcontractors / service for Mining Processing Plant

• Good communication & negotiation skill.

• Requires travel to project location is required.

• Vendor / supplier / subcontractor meetings and visits.

• Interface with commercial/legal service providers.

• Audit investigations.

• Risk and exposure due diligence.

• Must be diligent, reliable, and able to respond to difficult task whenever the need arises.

• Willing to work beyond office hours as and when required.

• Able to maintain and uphold work and business ethics.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the overall order process including manage supplier relationship and performance to ensure order process are conform to company’s system and procedures.

• Lead and monitor the implementation of the strategy development, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, award, execution, performance monitoring, administrations and close out of contracts to ensure that all contracts and procurement activities are managed in compliance with company internal control standard audit and procedures.

• Commercial evaluation of tenders and coordinate other elements of the evaluation process with end users in order to provide recommendations for award of business

• Lead team members to coordinate with across department function to analyze of potential usage of product manufacture/fabricator/direct distributor instead of general market particularly for goods in order to get price competitiveness.

• Provide and support contract end to end process related with procurement areas and ensure the operations could be effective and efficient.

• Monitor and control all major package categories with conduct regular meeting (if required) with internal/external to ensure the contract and service level achieve as per contract.

• Attends to resolution of disputes whenever they arise, including formation of finding facts, submit recommendation and plan of actions.

• Drafting formal letters and attending negotiations of a contractual nature in order to provide logistical support to Project Managers in resolving contractual issues with the subcontractors / vendors.

• Organize and manage variations and claims to their scope of work and successfully negotiate these to settlement, including a running log of all contractual correspondence to settlement.

• Monitor and control contract implementation to ensure that Petrosea and subcontractors / vendors follow the contractual requirements of the contract such that Petrosea is not exposed to unnecessary costs or penalties.

• Evaluate and conduct restructuring of internal documents to ensure all company’s documents are in accordance with the Petrosea Contracting Principles and management of commercial contracts. 

• Maintains effective monitoring of the current accounts of subcontractors / vendors.

• Maintains effective monitoring of the current issues encountered with of subcontractors / vendors.

• Analysing previous annual spent to be bottom line for spending this year and how to get saving cost annual target.

• Lead in sourcing and gathering quotes from subcontractors / vendors in order to obtain best price as per required quality and schedule in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.

• Review and analyse contracts at the tender stage, giving input in contract composition/legalities and any qualifications required in order to align conditions to Petrosea contracting guidelines.

• Review and develop appropriate contractual strategies in order to maximise commercials effectiveness.

• Actively contribute to develop team culture where all employees are responsible for their own and co-worker Health, Safety and Environments, keep work area clean and tidy, take corrective action on all hazardous situations in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment at all the times.

• Uphold Procurement business ethic and take ownership of every single deal for company benefit to ensure the adherence of overall company’s business ethics.

• Ensure that goods and service ordered to follow quality requirement of end user.

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

(Assignment: Head Office)

 Produce accurate and complex engineering calculations and documents and bring high level skills

and extensive experience in specific engineering design areas.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Min. 3 years experiences in electrical Engineering.

• Familiar with Engineering Software (ETAP)

• Meet Engineering deadlines.

• Willing to travel to project site.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work adheres to international Engineering standards and codes.

• Produce complex mechanical Engineering calculations.

• Prepare datasheets, specifications, basis of design, and engineering reports.

• Prepare RFQ packages accurately and conduct technical bid evaluations.

• Assist in the preparation of CTR’s and provide input into scheduling.

• Check discipline engineering documents accurately.

• Operate specialist engineering software packages and evaluate output.

• Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

SENIOR PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

(Assignment: Head Office)

Prepare, process, control, and monitor the upstream procurement function (i.e. RFQs, bidder lists, tender processes, TBEs, CBEs) and closely coordinate with Engineering group, QA/QC Group, SHE group, Project Control group and other functions within the Project Management Team in efficient and effective manners in order to achieve project target for delivering good practice (QCDSM) of Procurement process in which conform to Company Procedures and Business Ethics.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering, preference in Mechanical

• Min. 5 years experiences in Procurement area, preferably in Mining Processing Plant

• Good knowledge of quality the materials according to international standard specifications.

• Sound knowledge of SCM (having knowledge of Export Import regulation, Project Management and/or Contract Management are advantages).

• Good communication & negotiation skill.

• Excellent computer skill in Microsoft environment and other related applications.

• Fluent in English, both oral and written.

• Time manageable, target oriented, and able to facing under pressure and urgent basis.

• Good behaviour, open, honest, and proactive person.

• Able to maintain teamwork.

• Willing to work beyond office hours as and when required.

• Able to maintain and uphold work and business ethics.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct procurement tender process from end to end process, starting from vendor assessment, bidder list, invite meeting, request for quotation, clarification, evaluation, negotiation, award, contract, purchase order, expedite delivery, monitor vendor performance, monitor invoicing process until completion process.

• Analyze and process incoming Tender (RFQ) document to ensure that material are correct in grade, standard, quantity, size, and type against drawing or MTO received.

• Search vendor and product (goods and service) as per specification required at locally and abroad sources.

• Negotiate price, discount, delivery terms and other commercial and condition to achieve the best quality, cost, delivery, safety, and moral (QCDSM).

• Generate PO Evaluation Sheet (POES) or Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE).

• Generate Purchase Requisition (PR) to be Purchase Order (PO) through ERP system and issued the PO approval to vendor and ensure received of PO acceptance from vendor.

• Prepare procurement status report and expedite PO and in order to provide excellence procurement service for user (requestor).

• Maintain commercial filling document (i.e. Quotation, PO, POES/CBE, NOA, LOI, MoM, Official Letter, etc.)

• Monitoring Procurement Contract process since Pre, Draft, and Post Contractual for various kinds of service, and coordination with legal how to develop and provide simple contract, complex contract, and also PVA.

• Conduct Vendor Performance Evaluation (VPE), gather and compile accurate data and information vendor database in order to review of service level/quality of each vendor.

• Actively contribute to a team culture where all employees are responsible for their own and co-worker safety, Keep work area clean and tidy, take corrective action on all hazardous situations in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment at all times.

• Uphold procurement business ethics and take ownership of every single deal for company benefit to ensure the adherence of overall company’s business ethics.
