An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining and has a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our expansion project, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :

MANAGER PROJECT & REVITALIZATION

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Responsible to manage day to day to Superintendent Project and Superintendent Planning and Town facilities, to manage the Project, renovation and revitalization and manage the Facilities including Planning and cost control;

To establish and maintain a department that is able to provide a high quality timely and sustainable service to all end users (clients);

To develop our employees in the group, ensuring employees are given every opportunity to develop and progress through not only Infrastructure, but also other areas of the project should the opportunity arise;

To ensure all the infrastructure safely to use;

Coordination with Manager Maintenance and Services for new Facilities project to be maintain and Revitalization project, later on and related to the cost analyses and control;

Ensure the project schedule and project labor resources, including determine the business partners will do the projects;

Ensure the project revitalization can be managed as plan, and based on the priority;

To make strategy plan , to ensure  planning, cost control , budgeting on overall budget plan under Facilities and Services Department, for  short term Planning and cost control  , medium term  plan and long  term plan;

Work together with Maintenance and Services team on schedule, material and cost control on Maintenance and services sides;

Reviews all Project schedules and coordinates activities with other departments related in order to ensure optimal equipment and operation availability to meet business needs;

Manage and control the Camp accommodation and catering operation , work together with business partner on plan and execution to make sure the operational running well without significant issue;

Manage Budget and cost for overall project, maintenance , facilities under Facilities and services Department;

Reviews and updates departmental procedures and policies, administers discipline, enforces company policy, and ensures compliance with state, federal, or other jurisdictional laws;

Responds to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of operational efficiency;

Develop, establish, implement and maintain Departmental policy, procedures and systems, and monitor the adherence of these procedures within company and its Business Partners;

Develop and maintain departmental plans that are pro-active in planning to ensure that the day-to-day operational needs are met while counter balancing the strict Project and control requirements in line with Indonesian or better standards;

Develop and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach on Projects and control the facilities including manage and monitoring camp accommodation and Catering;

Sets goals and coordinates the activities of the department reports in the field, workshop and various administrative office ensure consistent and quality scheduled maintenance and unscheduled maintenance are accomplished with minimal disruption to the operation;

Develop and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach to a better delivery of support and operational services;

Ensure that international-quality office and support infrastructure facilities are available which meet the needs of the company workforce and its Business Partners;

Manage Building and Infrastructure Maintenance; Industrial & Residential Building, Utilities (Water treatment/Sewage treatment), General Infrastructure, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping & Plumbing, Carpentry & Painting, Air-conditioning;

Manage and control the Facilities and maintenance at Exploration site.

 What skills and experience do you need?

Tertiary degree in Technical engineering with 10 years’ experience in Maintenance infrastructure;

Must have had 10 years’ experience in Managerial roles related to Project Infrastructure and Planning project control;

Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing); Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required

Previous experience managing project scopes in the range of $100 million up to 500 million dollar project scopes/budgets is required;

Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

ENGINEER ELECTRICAL - PROJECT & REVITALIZATION

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

To prepare electrical design, material take off, schedule, work method statement.

To control quality of work on the field to ensure the work is performance meet with operational standard specification and regulation.

To Coordinate the projects & work together with other Project engineering team to Supervise the projects or Revitalization works.

Comply with P2K2, PTO and regular safety inspection (weekly or monthly)

Work with Engineering team Provide working schedule of the projects

Do design related to electrical and Material estimation for projects

During the design process, prepare the cost estimation

Prepare schedule related to electrical of the projects

Supervise the electrical work of projects during construction

Work with SCM team during the Tender process of the project

Provide report of the projects started during project design process, project construction until project completion

Inspect every task and to make sure all done in a good manner

Report to Superintendent all issue in the field related to employees or related to works.

May propose new procedure to ensure effective and efficient Facilities & Services Department.

Actively encourage and support team members to participate in decision-making processes and to assume responsibility and exercise initiative.

Encourage and promote continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures.

What skills and experience do you need?

-  Tertiary degree in Electrical engineering with minimum 7 years working in Design and Supervisory capacity on infrastructure projects in mining project or EPC industry

- Has knowledge in Electrical Design for buildings and public facilities, Familiar with engineering standard; Certified K3 Listrik as additional consideration

- Has skill to estimate material need for projects; Expert on supervision projects

Expert on AutoCAD; Expert on Material take off;

- Proactive and can manage Contractors

- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

SENIOR PLANNER EXPEDITOR

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Provide responsibility and authority of component expediting in Procurement Project. To perform expediting process for outstanding order under Procurement site buyer including general, plant and repair (all site) Component Goods;

Responsible for calculating demand, coordinating with clients to generate and commit to order requests as well as releasing work orders. This role  will be the primary Supply Chain representative, committing to new orders based on best date fulfilment and inventory availability as well as finding opportunities to pull in previously committed orders to earlier ship dates;

Serve as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration and super-user for site operations.

Coordinate with clients and Manufacturing to develop a production schedule.

Manage bill of materials, material forecasts, re-order points, work orders, and planning attributes.

Route quality system documents for review and assessment by expanded cross-functional teams and coordinate actions and follow up as a result of the review.

Identify and communicate changes in schedules and delivery with applicable teams and end users to achieve resolution.

Work closely with Project Development team to determine stocking levels and expediting orders.

Prepare reports, metrics, and data summaries as requested.

Participate in production planning utilizing Demand Planning and manual systems.

Assist the team with timely resolution and information gathering related to work order variances or concerns.

Prepare information for meetings to help highlight/resolve supply or production issues.

Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained on either the requisition or purchase order to support order placement.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor degree in business, law, engineering, supply chain or equivalent; Have Post Graduate Degree or other International Certifications in Supply Chain Management is preferable;

Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement and logistics management in Mining/ EPC Industry with a minimum 5 of those years working in a similar position as Senior Planner Expeditor;

Experience in Materials Planning and Order Commitment within the Supply Chain system;

Previous experience in SAP would be preferable;

Sound understanding of the international and relevant Indonesian business, legal system, company law, immigration, manpower, importation, mines and energy regulations; Full understanding of effective supply chain business processes, procedures and technology;

Very good knowledge of FIDIC engineering, construction and equipment supply contracts; Very good knowledge of BOM/BOQ construction contracts;

A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points; Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems; Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities from a commercial and procurement perspective;

SENIOR ESTIMATOR

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Works with Project Engineers , Design Teams and other personnel to coordinate acquisition of input information for the estimating process for projects and proposals

Prepares project estimates using drawings, specifications, scope, basis of design, and other project information as input.

Prepares services estimates for projects as required to support achievement of project objectives.

Prepares constructed cost estimates for projects as required to support achievement of project objectives.

Prepare or arrange for detailed MTO’s (Material take-off) from tender documentation.

Attend site visit and prepare detailed report of existing local conditions, available facilities and technical resources available in the area.

Ensure the Estimate is built up systematically and in sufficient detail.  Sufficient explanatory notes are to be included referring the location of supplementary information.

Prepare or arrange for detailed Vendor / Subcontractor enquiry packages

Ensure Vendor / Contractor proposals are properly evaluated and the results tabulated in system.

Assist designated Planner in the preparation of the construction schedule, providing man hours and plant requirement for each activity.

In conjunction with the Tender Team identify, evaluate and rank risks as well as develop a strategy to manage and mitigate the risks.

Ensures the Estimate Basis is “Current Cost” by utilizing current labour, staff and all material prices.

Preparation of commercial and technical clarifications which are to be included in the proposal.

Manage discipline estimators preparation of direct cost estimates. Ensure that the tenders are methodically built up and with sufficient detail; Assist in completing Client’s pricing and technical tender schedules, and also preparation of the project indirect costs.

Evaluates historical data, including purchase orders, subcontracts, force reports, and productivity reports and incorporate relevant data into company unit cost, material, and labor factors.

Actively participate in “Brain Storming” meetings to identify competitive advantages and alternative tender options.

Utilizes and maintains estimating software programs and systems for the project as well as trains others on how to use the program.

Maintains files of project estimates and supporting backup documentation for reference during project execution.

Monitors subcontract and purchase order awards, compares awarded costs to budgeted costs, determines the bases for variances, and adjusts estimating systems, models, and unit pricing to adjust future estimates.

Reviews design options and recommends best solutions based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.

Maintains relationships in the industry to facilitate the acquisition of estimating data and processes.

Prepares estimates to support the change management process for projects.

Works with Project engineers and Project Development team to monitor project implementation for compliance with the basis of the project estimate as required.

Collaborate with Project Development Dept. for estimating topics, evaluates opportunities for their improvement and advancement, and recommends actions to act upon those opportunities.

What skills and experience do you need?

Civil Degree or post graduate study in Construction management or related discipline with 10 years field experience in civil engineering and construction experience;

Have experience in project delivery related to estimating activities including preconstruction and procurement;

Proficient in Ms Project, Ms Office, and Desktop Publishing Package; proficient in Resources Analysis; proficient in Estimating utilizing software such as SAP or other ERP will be additional advantage;

Broad overview of Current project costing, Construction regulations, Workplace Health & Safety regulations, Quality assurance; Operational costs and processes; Specific knowledge of site man hour productivity rates and equipment utilization;

Procurement experience desirable; Negotiation and client liaison experience desirable;

Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR/ QUALITY CONTROL

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Write subcontractors’ and clients’ invoices, and coordinate with relevant departments/personnel to obtain or provide the needed data (g. quantity take-offs) for correct and accurate charge of payment amounts and/or for issuing the invoices.

Support Project Development team & personnel in quantity surveys (quantity take-offs) for the architectural items of the project (whenever needed).

Review quantity surveying for subcontractors, and coordinate with relevant personnel for issuing payment invoices, or review, issue, and sign the invoices if auth

Support Project Development team & personnel in shop drawing for the Civil aspects of the project (whenever needed).

Meet with project’s subcontractors to handle any problems or conflicts for smooth flow of work operations.

Write and submit a report, whenever required, to compare between quantity take-offs of subcontractors and clients to identify any conflicts or inconsistencies; and submit Cost Control Project Development department for monitoring and evaluation purposes.

Liaise with the Planning team on-site to provide needed data to support relevant decisions; and obtain needed data about subcontractors’ deals for writing and issuing clients’ invoices.

Undertake breakdown of Variation Orders (VOs).

What skills and experience do you need?

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Architectural or Civil/ Structural Engineering with 8 years’ experience in Construction Industry in similar role; On-site experience (Construction) is a must;

Must have had 5 years’ experience in similar role as Senior Quality Control/ Quantity Surveyor;

o Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project  infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing); Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required;

o Familiar with Project management plan & system in Mining Infrastructure activity; have working knowledge in Civil Infrastructure principles, design concepts & operations, and awareness of operation regulatory; familiar with application of ISO 9001; has experience as Internal Auditor; be able to provide reporting;

o Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

SENIOR DOCUMENT CONTROL

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Responsible to maintain and update document control system, prepare documents transmittal for all distribute documents, logging all received documents, reproduce and issue documents, maintain and update hardcopy and softcopy documents in Technical Document Control (TDC) system.

To supports of technical teams, departments and projects in the filing and storing of project related documentation. Documentation may be of a confidential or sensitive nature and needs to be stored in line with company and industry guidelines.

To manage, compile, store and process information data and wholes documents of Mine Project effectively, so that they can be found and submitted quickly to document users.

To manage, control whole Project Technical documents in the document storage system in compliance with applicable international standard requirements, by collaborating with internal & external ISO auditors.

 What skills and experience do you need?

Tertiary Degree in Technical Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or librarian with Intensively involved in Engineering & Construction Projects for minimum 10 years;

Minimum 10 years of experience in similar role as Document Controller in Technical Document Control management experience in EPC and or Mining Industry;

Holder of a Certified Document Controller Training Course; ISO 9001 Standard Holder of a Certificated training course ISO 9001.

Able to operate Supplier Data Management System SDMS, Share Point Application.
