An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our expansion project, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :

SR./ MANAGER PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Leading teams to deliver projects that span across one or more business units, including management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery

• Actively engage project team to participate in site specific due diligence activities and provide transaction team with negotiation guidance to mitigate risk, maximize value and ensure that workplace and schedule requirements are achievable for each space solution

• To plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frames.

• Manage the Pre-Construction/Due Diligence & Field Construction management process for Panera Renovation/Remodel/New Construction—Ground up development projects, including scheduling and communicating with consultants & general contractors, tracking progress, reviewing submitted reports, and providing recommended action steps towards project completion

• Manage the project budgeting process—from project inception thru the construction start—utilizing historical data, industry/geographical cost indexing, and project scope analysis/value engineering utilizing field construction experience

• Manage overall project schedules utilizing company owned software by creating and continuously updating any and all company projects that fall under the team responsibility

• Identify, manage and minimize risks associated with challenging project variables including procurement, value engineering, and cost reduction-throughout entire project lifecycles.

• Manage and support external communications with design consultants, permit expediters, landlords, utility companies and city officials throughout due diligence, design and pre-construction phases of development projects

• Maintain consistent focus on assisting design & procurement teams in reducing timelines and overall project durations from initial Development Committee review (1st Pass) to intermediate review (2nd Pass) through final review (CDO) to ultimately increase team productivity

• Support various operational rollout initiatives by taking a lead role in cross functional meetings and ensure accountabilities are being met to achieve the desired outcome.

• Prepare and present project status reports on all applicable development projects at regularly scheduled project status meetings.

• Work with 3rd party manufacturers/distributors to provide the information needed to ensure they can produce and ship in time to support the projects.

 What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture related field preferred with relevant qualifications; Has minimum 12+ years’ experience working in similar role in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields;

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. Mining Industry construction experience is preferred;

• Previous experience managing project scopes in the range of $ 500,000 up to 1.000.000 million dollar project scopes/budgets is required;

• Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

• Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills;

• Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously;

• Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals within the architectural, design, construction, procurement, real estate and local city building and planning communities.

• Strong work ethic, high degree of professionalism with the ability to work with little supervision, handle multiple tasks in an organized manner, produce quality work and meet strict deadlines, good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

• A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards. You should also be able to clearly demonstrate previous results together with a pro-active commitment towards safety whilst having attained the teamwork and respect of local communities and adherence to relevant environmental standards;

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

SUPERINTENDENT OHS OPERATIONS

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to utilize strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to guide the staff Safety Health Loss Prevention (SHLP) to achieve full compliance with all legal and other requirements.

• To manage side wide safety operations related issues for all project activities, to hold all employees accountable for high SHLP standards, and promote a culture of SHLP excellence.

• To manage company objectives and all applicable Government of Indonesia regulatory and permit obligations for SHLP, with reporting, compliance, and other statutory requirements.

• To be accountable for the execution of plans/projects in each of these functions and responsible for the training and development of employees in SHLP Department.

• To manage and find the solution all operational SHLP issues and improves safety performance among organization of site project (including Business Partner).

• To act as a Manager SHLP cover sitewide activity during Manager SHLP was not available on site.

• Audits compliance to company safety rules and policies, procedures and programs as well as Indonesian Government requirements.

• Assists Departmental Managers in the implementation/Supervision of Safety/Loss Control activities; Working closely with respective Manager in his area responsibilities to ensure all HSLP applied properly.

• Support and work with Superintendent Fire Emergency Services in the implementation of emergency response procedures in his area of responsibilities.

• Support and work with internal team in the implementation of OHH programs in his area of responsibilities.

• Advises line management regarding safety rules, regulation, trends, statistics and compliance with rules and policies.

• Participate at the accident investigation, observations, safety Interactions, Inspections, Safety meetings to assure that program are working as intended.

• Prepares work schedule and weekly report.

• Ensures compliance with company Standard Task Procedures.

• Assist line supervisor to have observations/Safety Interactions for their positions.

• Provide required resources to achieve the compliance of mine operation safety laws and regulations.

• Analyses data from accident investigations, observations, inspections, and other sources to assure management that programs are working as intended. Proposes alternatives to programs that are not working as intended.

• Implements and maintains Emergency Response Plan Procedures.

• Conduct annual side wide risk register (IBPR) and follow up priority as appropriate

• Manage Site Wide Risk Register and evaluation of the implementation layer audit for Top 10 High Risk to each department involvement

• Responsible to the preparation material (C&P Monthly, MCS, SEE Quarterly Meeting, Board Directors Meeting), etc for management, government and corporate officials.

• Responsible to the preparation and submittal for accident/incident report to Mine Inspector, monthly report SHLP information (internal and external), quarterly for DOME and annual reporting of the department’s activities.

• Assist Manager SHLP to comply with all the HSLP mandatory requirements for Company and business operations.

• Propose and manage section budget and spending as per company policies to achieve efficient operation.

• Monitor and control overhead charges, through interrogation of reports on a monthly basis.  Report on variance to the SHLP Manager and identify improvement opportunities.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety qualifications or relevant qualifications with minimum 12 years of experience working in Mining industries; Post Graduate (Master Degree in OHS) is preferable;

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role in managerial role as Superintendent OHS Operations; had operational experience in Health, Safety or Loss Prevention or related field is preferable;

• Understand Mining, Fixed plant, and Power plant business process; Understand the mining and construction process involving at least 100 employees.

• Demonstrate HSE skill in mining, milling or heavy industry, power plant, engineering, project management, human resource management, training or training development with program implementation; Managed SHLP Operational of Mining/Process activity minimum 3 years; Has Emergency Response Team Experience.

• The candidate should possess HSE System Trainings (Investigation, Risk Assessment or other HSE Trainings supported the system);

• Understand Loss Control Management philosophies; Have strong knowledge about safety, health & environment standard, Knowledge of Internal Audit, Knowledge of SMKP Internal Audit , and the implementations (SMKP, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISPS Port, Security Management System, OHSAS 18001, Safety Auditor, Risk Management process) and government safety regulation; understand about HSE standard on Mining activities; Familiar with Safety management at all levels.

• Have strong knowledge of Accident Incident Investigation Method, Work Permit Management System, Mining, Construction, Indonesia Regulation in DEMR.

• Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

• Registered Auditor for SMKP Minerba refer to KepDirjen 185/2019 in DEMR and has Experience as Lead Auditor in SMKP Minerba DEMR will be as added value;

• Hold an operational inspector certificate or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of positions; poses relevant technical inspector certificate; Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; innovative.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
