An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.
To support our expansion project in Fixed Plant area, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :
SPECIALIST ELECTRICAL - FIXED PLANT
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Provide maintenance engineering & reliability engineering service within process maintenance department
• Monitor departmental results, identify opportunities for improvement & work closely with frontline staff to initiate changes.
• Manage the Change Management process to ensure compliance, provide engineering input to the process, prioritize & coordinate resultant projects Review and critique work of others in the department for technical correctness (QA/QC).
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of major failure/downtime events & follow up close out of corrective actions.
• Develops maintenance personnel to perform equipment trouble shooting.
• Compile failure data, carry out FME analysis to provide input to planning for adjustment of PM/PdM frequency and spare parts analysis.
• Develop & manage departmental standards
• Act as a QA/QC resource when required
• Identify opportunity, initiate & monitor trials of alternative parts where feasible
• Oversee new installations, including design, modification & commissioning (baseline measurement)
• Ensures that all work is properly documented, filed and recorded for future reference
• Assist Superintendent Resource Management to provide data interpretation & recommendations
What skills and experience do you need?
• Engineering qualification at Trade, Diploma or Degree level in a Electrical field or equivalent industry with 8 years’ experience with electrical maintenance in a milling/ processing operations/ fixed plant environment are necessary.
• Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Specialist Electrical or Supervisor Electrical maintenance/ fixed plant project management;
• Has Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards;

SPECIALIST INSTRUMENTATION - FIXED PLANT
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Provide maintenance engineering & reliability engineering service within process maintenance department
• Monitor departmental results, identify opportunities for improvement & work closely with frontline staff to initiate changes.
• Manage the Change Management process to ensure compliance, provide engineering input to the process, prioritize & coordinate resultant projects Review and critique work of others in the department for technical correctness (QA/QC).

SPECIALIST OPERATIONS - FIXED PLANT
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Monitor and control fixed plant production volume to meet schedules and delivery dates;
• Coordinate with maintenance plans for plant equipment to ensure production requirements are meet;
• Prepare work schedules and ensure that the process equipment is run to give the best economic return between equipment longevity and throughput;
• Prepare and maintain production reports;
• Coordinate activities with technical, metallurgical and assay departments; set and maintain metallurgical operations standards;
• Ensure implementation of job and safety training programs;
• Assure that applicable environmental regulations and compliance programs are implemented;
• Initiate projects and direct activities leading to continuous improvement of safety and production.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Mineral Processing or related field with minimum 8 years of experience in mineral processing plant industry are necessary;
• Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Specialist or Supervisory process operations / fixed plant project management;
• Demonstrated expertise in grinding and flotation; Extensive experience in Specialist/ Supervisory level in the coordination of copper and other mineral processing operations.
• Has Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

SPECIALIST CONTROL ROOM - FIXED PLANT
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Responsible to assist with and occasionally leads the supervision of the work of shift personnel to operate all facility equipment and systems in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner during normal operation and emergencies;
• Performs as Senior Control Room Operator in the Control Room Facility;
• Performs Lead Hand duties in the Control Room Facility as required;
• Assists with conducting weekly shift meetings to cover facility operations, safety, and work rules. Often directs or leads meetings personally;
• Maintains a high level of equipment availability by endeavouring to improve equipment reliability, operating procedures, and performing required equipment tests and preventative maintenance;
• Develops a strong sense of teamwork within group and with other facility groups;
• Conducts operations to comply with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements;
• Keeps the Shift Foreman and Operations General Foreman informed of facility operating status and equipment problems;
• Maintains accurate records and submits all required reports in a timely manner;
• Serves as primary facility contact during non-business hours when the Shift Foreman is away from the Concentrator Plant or is absent;
• Plays a key role in maximizing facility profitability by developing a highly productive staff that is keenly cost conscious.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Senior High School or equivalent with minimum 7 years’ experience in the mining and mineral processing industry are necessary;
• Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Specialist Control Room or equivalent experience;
• Proven knowledge of mineral processing, particularly in control room Operations is essential; Has Technical knowledge of mining/processing processes and systems;

The essential duties, included but not limited to:
• Responsible to monitor plant performance, plan and direct activities related to the downstream area. Also assist in cost and revenue improvement projects as directed by the Sr Downstream Metallurgist.
• Act as Metallurgist member of the Metallurgical and Technical Process Group supporting and coordinating with the operational team in safety practices, operational aspects as directed by the senior Metallurgist and covered by the metallurgical and technical services group.
• Position physical responsibility boundaries of this role include primary crusher, OLC + Tripper, SAG Mills, Ball Mills, Pebble Crushers, Pebble Screens, Cyclone Feed Pumps, Hydro-cyclones.
• The position incumbent is expected to work closely with Senior Metallurgist and related Senior Process Operations personnel to provide daily operational support to assist in identification, investigation, and implementation of production and cost improvements.
• Downstream interactions will be required with Mine Engineering, Geology and operations personnel for ore body characterization and throughput forecasting.
• Cross department interactions will also be required with the SCM Purchasing for consumables forecasting, equipment parts tracking and with Contract Support for contracted project related services
Required technical skills, training and experience:
• Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering are preferred
• A minimum of 8 years in the mining and mineral processing industry is essential as Senior Metallurgist Downstream
• Have knowledge and competency in mineral processing industry; Experience in formulating, planning, and leading complex projects and work programs; Familiar with solid foundation of mineral processing. Have technical knowledge of mining/processing processes and systems.; Broad understanding of geology, mining and processing technical issues and operating processes/systems.

METALLURGIST ADVANCED PROCESS CONTROL – FIXED PLANT
(National - Site Based)
The essential duties, included but not limited to:
• Develop, implement, monitor, evaluate, tuning, and do continuous improvement of advanced process control philosophy that ranging from Primary Crusher, OLC System, Stockpile Management, SAG Mill system, Pebble Crusher, Ball Mill, Flotation, Thickener, and Filtration.
• Collaborating with the instrumentation team in maintaining all infrastructures that support the advanced process control system ranging from various sensors, camera, AMDEL, ANSTAT, PSI, regulatory control, fuzzy logic, PI system, etc.
• Maintaining & Auditing of the process control environment, identifying process control performance stabilisation, optimisation, and constraint opportunities.
• Responsible for plant data analysis and visualization.
Required technical skills, training and experience:
• Physics or Chemical Engineering background that familiar with Process Control.
• At least has 3 years working experience in the same industry in similar role
• Familiar with solid foundation of mineral processing and solid foundation of process control.
• Highly organized and proactive team player with ability to multi-task.

SENIOR CHEMIST – ISO TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT AND DOCUMENTATION CONTROL – FIXED PLANT
(National - Site Based)
• Responsible to maintain and update related of Chemist’s document control system, preparation documents transmittal for all distribute documents, logging all received documents, reproduce and issue documents, maintain and update hardcopy and softcopy documents in Technical Document Control (TDC) system.
• To supports of technical QA & QC teams, Process Operations departments and projects in the the filing and storing of project related documentation. Documentation may be of a confidential or sensitive nature and needs to be stored in line with company and industry guidelines.
• To manage, compile, store and process information data and wholes documents of Mine Project effectively, so that they can be found and submitted quickly to document users.
• To manage, control whole QA & QC Process Operations’ Project Technical documents in the document storage system in compliance with applicable international standard requirements, by collaborating with internal & external ISO auditors.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineer or Metallurgy engineer with Minimum 2 years Project Management experience in Chemist’s ISO Technical Management and Documentation Control;
• Have experience minimum 4 years in similar position as Senior Chemist - ISO Technical Management and Documentation Control;
• Have knowledge of copper mining technology and mining technical management and Documentation Control;
