The Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mining area covers an area of 30 km² which is under the sixth generation Contract of Work (COW) with a total area of 1,303 km². The Martabe Gold Mine is located on the west side of the island of Sumatra, Batang Toru Sub-district, North Sumatra Province.

The Martabe Gold Mine began full production on 24 July 2012 and has a resource base as of 30 June 2022, of 6.5 million oz of gold and 64 million oz of silver. The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is more than 7 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver per year. 

PT Agincourt Resources involves more than 3,000 employees and contractors, around 99% of whom are Indonesian citizens, and more than 70% are from local villages.

PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) holds 95% shares of PT Agincourt Resources. PTDTN is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. with 60% share ownership and PT Pamapersada Nusantara with 40% share ownership, as well as part of PT Astra International Tbk business group. A total of 5% of PT Agincourt Resources' shares are owned by South Tapanuli District Government and North Sumatra Provincial Government.

To strengthen the existing Mining team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

JUNIOR SUPERVISOR – PLANNING MOBILE EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE (PRO 2301011)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Processing (Maintenance) Department, and reports directly to Supervisor Mobile Plant & Diesel System.

The role of the Planner - Light Mobile Equipment: 

• Provide planning services for the effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities required to maintain the optimal levels of site mobile equipment, light vehicle and station engine availability and performance. 

• Prepare two-weekly, and one-weekly work plans for PTAR and Lease mobile equipment, light vehicles and stationary engines in consultation with Planning Supervisor, maintenance management team and production departments to ensure production objectives are achieved. 

• Ensure that the daily and overall weekly work plans for the maintenance of mobile equipment, light vehicles and stationary engines is safely executed with a high level of compliance to the work plans and minimal interruption to production and all safety and rework incidents are reported. 

• Ensure effective communication is maintained between the planning team and maintenance supervisory team with regards to maintenance activities for mobile equipment, light vehicles and stationary engines with clear handovers between planners, maintenance supervisory changes and R&R cycles to minimise interruption to PTAR’s business from the downtime. 

• Identify areas for plant improvement in conjunction with the PTAR reliability team, maintenance contractors and suppliers to optimise the availability and performance of the site mobile and stationary engine assets.  

• Assist the Planning Supervisor and maintenance management with provision, review and analysis of KPI reports, Budget reports and other relevant information for mobile and stationary engine  

• Ensure PRONTO is fully utilised as the site CMMS with all maintenance work initiated through the Work Orders (WO) system, all work orders are closed promptly and job history and details collected. 

• Contribute to reports or the gathering of information as specified for the effective communication required for the role or allocated to the role. 

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. Diploma of Politeknik (Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive)

2. 2 years or more in maintenance planning role in Mobile plant operationsand maintenance

3. Knowledge of equipment (Mobile Cranes, Fork Lift, Man Lift, Reach Stacker, Diesel Generator & Compressor), tools and materials used in the mining industry. 

4. Ability to organize plan and schedule work packs. 

5. Compile daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans. 

6. Ability to estimate the amounts of labour, materials, and equipment required for jobs. 

7. Ability to prepare minor reports and maintain records. 

8. Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project & Outlook.  

9. Ability to effectively communicate with vendor, contractor and suppliers

MECHANICAL FITTER – FIXED PLANT (PRO 2301012)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Processing (Maintenance) Department, and reports directly to Supervisor – Mechanical Maintenance.

The role of the Mechanical Fitter personnel is to provide ‘hands-on’ support for the Mechanical Supervisors, so as to ensure that the maintenance, modifications, servicing and installation activities carried out by the Mechanical maintenance team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plants and associated infrastructure’s Mechanical plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.

Close interaction with peers in the Electrical / Instrumentation, Operations and Metallurgical teams as well as Maintenance Planning and Warehouse personnel will be crucial to the overall success of this role.  

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. Graduated from Polytechnic / Technical training institute or approved Apprenticeship with Mechanical Fitter qualifications

2. Minimum 5 year experience in similar position within the mining, oil & gas or similar heavy industrial environment.

3. Experience and having knowledge in fixed plant equipment maintenance such as crusher, belt / screw conveyor, vibrating screen, SAG/Ball/Vertical mill, pumps, hydraulic system.

4. A good understanding of world class mining standards and associated safety standards (ANZS, BS, IEC & ASTM)

5. Experience with Mechanical maintenance, problem-solving and inspection processes.

6. Experience with Mechanical installation methods and practices.

7. Good knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry.

8. Ability to understand and efficiently carry out written and oral instructions.

9. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.

10. Must have good communication skills and work in a team environment
