POSITION : MECHANICAL (HVAC) ENGINEER
Department/Project : Engineering Department
Education : University Graduate from on Technical Major
Working Experiences : More than 10 years in similar position or similar field
Work location : Jakarta
REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION
1. Having degree in mechanical engineering from reputable universities
2. Minimum 10 years of working experience in static equipment engineering (EPCI offshore Project)
3. The application of a good level of theoretical knowledge in designs & selection studies, of the HVAC system equipment especially ACCU, AHU, PAC, and Chiller. Experience in Package such as Chemical Injection Packages is a plus point.
4. Having knowledge of International code standards for HVAC for onshore and offshore design
5. Familiar with HVAC software, especially HAP
6. All around experience in work scoping, HVAC & Package vendor management, FAT, Field Engineering, and preferably commissioning and troubleshooting experiences.
7. Good communication skills, approachable, and able to work with others. Experience in interfacing with field operation, and maintenance team is a plus point
8. Preferably has previously interfaced with local and foreign HVAC equipment packagers and worked on brownfield areas.
9. Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
10. Computer literacy involves the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. To support lead in reviewing contractual technical documentation and requirements
2. To support Lead in defining engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines and to optimize systems ensuring minimal cost in compliance with the required performance
3. Prepare HVAC Design basis, selection study, and cooling load calculation
4. To prepare technical documentation for HVAC or Package requisition (specifications, data sheets drawing etc., where requested).
5. Technical negotiation with vendors and controls of vendor documents.
6. To prepare technical evaluation and technical tabulation for vendor technical alignment.
7. To follow-up of assigned equipment/package after order award.
8. To review and to sign all vendor documents in coordination with other disciplines.
9. To attend internal review activities and to participate inter-discipline check meetings (where required).
10. Define detailed engineering activities
11. To provide support for expediting and testing activities.
12. To provide support for document management and to prepare final documentation books.

POSITION : MECHANICAL STATIC EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION
1. Having degree in mechanical engineering from reputable universities
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in static equipment engineering (EPCI Project)
3. Having experiences in design of static equipment such as pressure vessels, drums, filters, pig traps, columns, shell, and tub heat exchanges, plate and frame heat exchangers, and storage tanks.
4. Familiar with international codes and standards such as ASME VIII Div 1 and Div 2, ASME B31.8, ASME B31.4, TEMA, API 660, and API 662. Having experience with ship classification societies such as DNV, ABS and BKI is a plus point.
5. At least familiar with pressure vessel design software such as COMPRESS and PV Elite.
6. Familiar With other design software such as AUTOCAD and HTRI (thermal design of shell a exchangers) is a plus point.
7. Having capability of Finite Element Analysis and Analytical Calculation (such as Roark's formula) is a plus point.
8. Able to communicate in verbal and written English
9. Having computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications.
10. Having work experience with floating facilities is a plus point.
11. Able to communicate with other disciplines and with clients in a project.
12. Having ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION
1. Having degree in mechanical engineering from reputable universities
2. Minimum 10 years of working experience in static equipment engineering (EPCI Project) and minimum of 4 years experiences as Lead static equipment engineer (with a minimum of 5 members in a team)
3. Having the ability to coordinate team with various cultural backgrounds.
4. Having experiences in design of static equipment such as pressure vessels, drums, filters, pig traps, columns, shell, and tub heat exchanges, plate and frame heat exchangers, and storage tanks.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Develop Engineering works and activities especially for Package equipment and Rotating equipment, ensuring the compliance with Specification, QA/QC and HSE requirement.
2. Review Contractual technical documentation and requirements.
3. Prepare and coordinate with Project Team (Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager) and Mechanical Head of Department the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life.
4. Ensure the coordination of the activities of the discipline guaranteeing the consistency of documents with the contract, the respect of the time schedule, the implementation of the contract requirements, the compliance of the assigned budget and the quality of the deliverables under the guidance of the Project Engineering Manager and cooperating with the other Project Lead Engineers.
5. Supervise and participate actively in the preparation and review the project technical specifications, material requisitions for tenders, technical evaluations and technical follow-up of vendors.
6. Interface with client representatives and vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs, to discuss with the vendors the potential improvements to manufacturing schedule.
7. Guarantee assistance to the inspection and construction departments upon request a needs.
8. Coordinate with construction and site project control team in order to collect the Required On Site date, verify alignment with current supply schedule and verify potential float in construction plan
9. Provide feedback to Mechanical Head of Department concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work instructions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
10. Review and to approve vendor documents in coordination with other disciplines.
11. To attend internal review activities and to participate inter-discipline check meeting (where required).
