PT. Macmahon Mining Services is a multinational company offering the complete package of mining services. As a contractor of choice, we have extensive experience in both surface and underground mining across a range of locations including projects throughout Indonesia.
We are currently seeking motivated and highly qualified candidate to join our team for the below position to support the growth of company across Jakarta and project sites.
HR Manager / HR Superintendent
Some of your duties will include but not limited to:
• Ensure that the recruitment process is conducted in accordance to policies and procedures
• Responsibility that the recruitment process is conducted in a transparent manner and identifies applicants who are suited to the position.
• Ensure that all applicants are assessed equally, based on skills, competency and attitude
• Work together and participate with Tender/Business Development Team to support tender process
• Keep update on employee relations — Industrial Laws, Legislation, Rules, Regulation and case decisions
• Assist Site Management in ensuring all disputes are resolved in a timely manner and are to the benefit of Macmahon site operations
• Accurate, timely and targeted advice on Industrial Relations and negotiating strategies egg. Dismissal and grievance resolution
• Actively representing Company in Industrial case resolution when appropriate
• Identify trends and developments in the industrial Relations field that will impact of Site IR Management, advise Site management team of any impact trends or developments may have. Provide Site management with effective options to manage the change
• Actively engage workforce and staff to Identify any potential IR issues which are or have the potential to impact on Site operations
• Fully in charge to update company regulations according to applicable legislation and conduct end to end process to get approval from Manpower Department.
• Partnering with HR Corporate to align Develop overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
• Design IR strategy for short & long term plan based on the project planning and production scheduling
• Maintaining close contacts with governmental agencies, union leaders, and others with respect to employee — Industrial Relations matters. Provide updates and options to Site Management should these contacts disclose information which may impact on Site operations
• Provide advice to line management and direct report on dealing with community or industrial issues
• Provide consultation and advice to all line management with respect to Human Resources and Industrial Relations matters
• Implement Corporate HR Policy & Procedure accurately and ensure all users comply
• Actively participate in Human Resources management benchmarking activities, including: Employee Turnover, Absenteeism, Staff Retention and Development
• Manage the performance management process, particular focus on Position Description process. Ensuring PD’s are signed of and understood by employees, signed by Supervisor and Manager, filed in central personnel file and utilised by supervisor during performance management process
• Ensure HRMIS data is accurate and all employee information is secured and stored in a central location file
• Co-ordinate subordinates to work safely, productively, efficiently and effectively as an integrated team
• Drive acceptance of diversity of culture, religion and ethnic groups
• Acknowledge and encourage good performance and loyalty to the company
• Business partner to all function to meet business objective where required.
• Provide regular feedback and mentor the growth and development of direct reports.
• Involve in annual assessment process and proactively seek for development plans.
• Ensure development plan is available for team members so that they keep up with required skills & competencies for current and future roles
What skills and experience do you need?
• Graduate from Tertiary Degree in Psychology, Law, Business, Engineering, Economy or related majors
• Minimum has 5 years of working experience as HR Manager or Superintendent with previous experience in a varied HR & IR role, External Relations, Organisational Development, Remuneration & Compensation
• Exposure to Mining, Oil and Gas and the Construction sectors would be highly desirable
• Will be project site roster based or corporate based.
