PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.

In 2023 employing a workforce of over 3,000 employees and contractors. Over 99% of our workforce are Indonesian Citizens (WNI), with more than 70% locally recruited. Going forward, the Company will continue to be committed to implementing operational activities to secure and sustainable operations, minimal environmental impact and long-term benefits for local stakeholders.

The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.

All of the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. As of June 2023, the mineral resources totalled 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver.

To strengthen the capabilities of the Environmental department and ensure the successful achievement of its objectives, Martabe Gold Mine seeks a qualified candidate for the position of:

SUPERVISOR – ENVIRONMENTAL REPORTING AND SYSTEM

(ENV 2405019)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the Environment Department and will report directly to the Superintendent of Environmental Reporting and System.

The Supervisor – Environmental Reporting and System will be tasked with aiding the site management team in achieving complete compliance with environmental reporting requirements, adherence to mandatory environmental management outcomes on-site, as well as governmental regulations. This will be accomplished through:

• Managing the necessary data from sections/departments at PTAR and contractors for various reporting purposes.

• Compiling periodic high-quality reports in accordance with regulatory standards, permits, and internal protocols.

• Monitoring and reporting on adherence across the site to PTAR Environmental Policy, PTAR Codes of Practice, and external standards such as IFC Performance Standards and ISO 14001.

• Coordinating programs for compliance and adherence improvement.

• Providing environmental training and disseminating environmental requirements throughout PTAR and contractor workforces.

• Developing Environmental Standards aligned with the Environmental Management System ISO 14001.

Candidates applying for this position should possess the following qualifications and meet the specified criteria:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Environment, Science, Forestry, Natural Resources Management, or a related field.

2. Preferably, holds a valid L/V Driver’s License, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification, and relevant post-graduate qualifications.

3. Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a similar role within the mining industry, with desirable experience in environmental auditing and reporting.

4. Proficient in MS Office suite and experienced in managing or coordinating site inspection programs.

5. Familiarity with Environmental Reporting, including AMDAL, RKL-RPL, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Report (Miners), Greenhouse Gas Calculation, RKAB Report, Sustainability Report, Proper Document, Electronic Reporting (SIMPEL).

6. Knowledgeable in developing Environmental Management System ISO 14001, Life Cycle Assessment, and Energy Management.

7. Familiar with Indonesian environmental laws and regulations.

8. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to a positive working environment.

9. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of maintaining direction to achieve work objectives with minimal supervision.

10. Effective communication and presentation skills, with a desirable proficiency level in spoken and written English.

SUPERVISOR – ENVIRONMENTAL BIODIVERSITY MANAGEMENT

(ENV 2405022)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the Environment Department and will report directly to the Superintendent – Environmental Site Support.

The duties of the Supervisor – Environmental Biodiversity Management entail ensuring the implementation of environmental management systems and activities in alignment with AMDAL/ESIA (Environmental and Social Impact Assessment), Internal Code of Practice Biodiversity, and other pertinent environmental regulations including ISO 14001. Additionally, this role involves conducting studies, developing programs, and monitoring biodiversity within PTAR's concession area, which encompasses fauna and flora monitoring and rescue, aquatic biota management, degraded forest rehabilitation and enrichment, herbarium collection of flora biodiversity, and the development of local tree nurseries. Timely preparation of environmental management performance reports, provision of data for environmental inspections, audits, assessments, and other regulatory compliance purposes in accordance with SOPs are also integral responsibilities.

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Environment, Biology, Forestry, Water Resources Management, or a related field; a relevant Master's Degree is desirable.

2. Possession of a valid L/V driving license is desirable.

3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Environmental Management in the Mining industry or similar sectors.

4. Experience in Biodiversity Management is required.

5. Familiarity with Flora Monitoring (both low-level and higher plants), Fauna Monitoring (including Mammals, Avifauna, Insects, Herpetofauna), and Aquatic Biology Monitoring is necessary.

6. Experience in watershed Rehabilitation is preferred.

7. Proficiency in Environmental Reporting, such as AMDAL, RKL-RPL, and Forest Rehabilitation, is essential.

8. Familiarity with developing conservation zones, green belts, Biomass Calculation, and Carbon Footprint is advantageous.

9. Extensive knowledge of Indonesian Regulations is required.

10. Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, service orientation, and target-oriented skills are necessary.

11. Familiarity with environmental post-mine rehabilitation and experience with MapInfo/ArcGIS is a plus.

12. Familiarity and certification to operate drones are beneficial.

ENGINEER – MECHANICAL RELIABILITY (PRO 2405023)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the Processing (Maintenance) Department and will report directly to the Coordinator – Engineering & Reliability.

The responsibilities of the Engineer – Mechanical Reliability include managing the Reliability Engineering function within fixed plant maintenance and providing technical support to the Maintenance execution teams in alignment with operational requirements. The incumbent will collaborate within a team environment, actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, and offering professional support to the broader maintenance group. They will develop and implement condition monitoring and predictive maintenance techniques, along with conducting failure analysis aimed at enhancing process plant asset performance, with a specific focus on vibration, oil analysis, thermography, and NDT techniques.

Additionally, the role will contribute to optimizing current maintenance strategies by collaborating with the Operation, Maintenance, and Planning departments. This collaboration aims to ensure that preventive maintenance tasks and other maintenance activities are conducted safely and effectively to achieve the desired equipment performance and reliability.

Applicants for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Possess a recognized Engineering Degree in Mechanical.

2. Hold certifications in Vibration, Oil Analysis, and NDT Training.

3. Demonstrate extensive, comprehensive experience in a similar reliability engineering role within the mining, oil & gas, or comparable heavy industrial sectors.

4. Possess a solid understanding of world-class mining standards and associated safety standards such as ANZS, BS, IEC, ASTM, and PAS 55.

5. Exhibit proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

6. Have significant prior experience with reliability engineering in mining process plants or heavy industry settings.

7. Demonstrate broad-based, comprehensive experience with mechanical maintenance problem-solving and inspection processes.

8. Possess a good understanding of predictive maintenance methodologies.

9. Showcase knowledge and understanding of various condition monitoring technologies, including Vibration Analysis, Thermography, Oil Analysis, and NDT techniques. Desirable familiarity with maintenance tactics development tools like RCM, FMEA, PMO, etc.

10. Monitor equipment wear rates and utilize data to optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) Tasks.

11. Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and efficiently execute written and oral instructions.

12. Proficient in the interpretation of engineering drawings.

13. Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis as necessary. Identify and implement required corrective actions, and complete associated documentation.

14. Capable of preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.

15. Possess computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet usage.

16. Proficient in English communication.

SUPERVISOR – INTERNAL AUDIT (IARA 2405025)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the Internal Audit and Risk Assurance (IARA) Department and will report directly to the Senior Supervisor – Internal Audit.

The Internal Audit Supervisor collaborates with the Internal Audit Manager and Senior Supervisor to develop audit plans and execute independence assurance activities, prioritizing them based on stakeholder input and the relative significance and impact of identified risks. Additionally, they assist the Internal Audit Manager in ensuring departmental independence and promoting best practices in governance.

Furthermore, the Internal Audit Supervisor supports other departments by providing guidance on developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies related to internal audit findings and agreed action plans. They also assist in conducting internal audit projects and enhancing the internal audit function. Additionally, they aid the Internal Audit and Risk Assurance Manager in monitoring PTAR's compliance with key regulatory requirements expected by management and supporting Business Insurance Activities.

Moreover, they assist the Internal Audit Manager in preparing reports for internal audit corporate groups such as PAMA, UT, and Astra International.

Applicants for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Management from a reputable university.

2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience, with at least 3 years of professional auditing experience, demonstrating a general level of maturity and business acumen.

3. Adequate understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk, and control processes and procedures.

4. General understanding of risk management framework and processes.

5. Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks across various components of the IT environment, including system implementations and upgrades in areas such as applications, operating systems, and databases.

6. Ability to investigate and manage fraud investigations, such as check fraud and new account fraud, ensuring timely handling and accurate documentation with concise case summaries, following existing procedures.

7. Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.

8. Ability to provide and effectively communicate Internal Audit findings and reports.

9. Understanding of the COSO Internal Control Framework and ERM Framework.

10. Familiarity with insurance and financial risk management processes.
