Eni in Indonesia currently holds participating interests in 10 (ten) Production Sharing Contractors (PSCs), which Eni serves as the operator in deep water areas with active exploration and development programs. The PSCs are spread across various locations in Indonesia, primarily in the Kutei Basin area. Eni’s portfolio in Indonesia demonstrates unique locations that reflect the company’s philosophy to operate in the core business and border areas to manage risks and achieve the best results in hydrocarbon discovery.

We are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative, and integrity to fill the following position:

Field Operator

Purpose:

• Control and monitor platform production operations of all Company’s facilities 

• Conduct activities in a safe manner with maximizing uptime and field production efficiency while minimizing the total maintenance cost (production downtime, spare parts, manpower, etc.) and meet daily production targets whilst complying with company guidelines and legal requirements to deliver the highest value to stakeholders without compromising the Safe Operating Principals

• Implement the Asset and Operating Integrity policy and procedure in production operations, also manage contractors who work in FPU in a safe and clean environment, and comply with the regulations

• Support the development project activities relevant to the Company’s project – Production aspects offshore with focus on, start-up and shutdown gas and condensate production facilities, ensuring that commissioning and start-up operations of facilities are conducted in a safe, effective, and efficient manner while meeting the company target and the satisfaction of all parties

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Ensure production activities are carried out in compliance with all relevant procedures and legal requirements

• Day-to-day plant monitoring and keep quality of gas and condensate on specification

• Report in a timely fashion the loss of production capabilities Lead operator

• Using experience and knowledge to rectify operational problems

• Proactively develop action plans to improve production performance that can add value to the asset through improved reliability and uptime

• Liaise with the control room and related parties to ensure daily production targets achieved

• Complete all reading process areas and utility

• Support the marine team during the loading and offloading of chemical

• Produce comprehensive and accurate shift and crew change handover notes

• Ensure the safe start-up and shutdown of process facilities

• Identify any abnormal process conditions and report to lead operator and take immediate corrective action to ensure safe and continuous production

• Ensure that all operation tasks are carried out according to the Company’s established policies, legal requirement procedures, and professional standards

• Ensure appropriate risk assessments are carried out for all operation & maintenance activities, with particular attention to recognize the impact of change

• Integral member of the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up teams for the FPU

• Area Operator during SIMOP and normal operation

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Education: Diploma Degree in Chemical Engineering

• Professional Qualification: Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in oil & gas industry

• Training and Certification:

- Employee Induction including HSE Awareness

- T-BOSIET (1st time) or T-FOET (refreshment)

- Advance Fire Fighting

- Scaffolding Inspector

- CSEA (Confined Space Entrant Attendant)

- Control Room Emergency

• Language: Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Required Competencies:

Technical Competencies:

• Proficient in the operation of gas engine generator including support packages and ancillary equipment

• Thorough knowledge of the operation of all FPU process facilities

• Knowledge of subsea system, Custody Metering System, ORF utility and process Unit

• Pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up experienced

• Active in mentoring program and developing less experienced operators

• Ability to conduct Operations Process upset – Troubleshooting in field facilities

• Having a good understanding of Gas Export Compressor, MEG Regeneration Unit (MRU), and other utility system

• Familiar with Custody Metering System – Oil & Gas, Multiphase Flow Meter (MPFM) & Gas Chromatograph (GC)

• Isolate/de-isolate equipment for maintenance purposes

• Familiar with Permit to Work (PTW) system

• Having a good understanding of control room operator, process utilities, Emergency Shut Down (ESD) system, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), and Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
