We are currently seeking the best candidates to fill vacant positions for our ongoing projects, with the following details:

 

1. Senior Liaison and Licensing Officer

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Analyze and update management on the way forward for project implementation in Indonesia and seek the information and details on procedure from government authorities by providing feedback to government as well as PETRONAS Indonesia management to ensure smooth project executions and operations.

• Facilitate and mediate negotiations/discussion/meetings such as Work Program & Budget. AFE based on PETRONAS Indonesia project requirements, with host government/authorities to ensure accurate information being communicated.

• Expedite and monitor approvals/permits from the host government and correspondence with the latter by ensuring the approvals are successful to support smooth business operations.

• Ensure that all procedures for submitting licenses are in accordance with the current and current guidelines for implementing applications. Utilization of company, personal and the GRBS team’s connections and resources will be utilized maximally in accelerating obtaining the approval / permit that is being requested.

• Provide accurate and precise translation services at the major discussions between the company and host government during project decisions to avoid misunderstanding.

• Facilitate approval of project documents such as land applications, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) / Environmental Permit, Field Development Plan (FDP) and building plans certification to ensure timely approval and avoid delay / standby in project activities to minimize cost exposure to the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Management, Industrial Relations, or similar major.

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience and expertise preferably in Liaison P& Permit in Oil & Gas Industry

• Good English, verbal & written

• Good service & hospitality

• Good communication, negotiation, and lobbying skill

• Good relation and networking with external parties (Government, Stakeholders, Partners, Social Community and Host Authority)

• Good knowledge in social culture and social economic

• Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in instrumentation and control from recognized industry bodies is preferred

• Experience in hazardous area equipment maintenance

• Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and tools such as thermography.

2. ICS & End User Support Team Leader

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Develop, manage and execute the strategies for ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support plan, operation and maintenance at Indonesia operations through development and implementation of annual work program & budget, effective monitoring and optimization, and using relevant tools and methodologies to ensure long term reliability and technical integrity of all asset and services to maximizing value creation, business growth and new business opportunities and to support country business objectives

• Coordinate, evaluate and analyze the end-to-end service level management of ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support system, in ensuring sustainable solutions by institutionalizing best practices in order to ensure effective and efficient sustainable model, and aligned to Upstream business and PETRONAS Group standard and policies, and to meet with country business objectives.

• Establish, conduct and manage the implementation of Country ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support sustainability plan, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines, by working with the management team and Upstream group, to govern the delivery of the sustainability model, in assuring such ICT sustainability plans, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines meet business objectives that are aligned with Upstream business and PETRONAS Group standard and policies

• Carry out research and providing technical advice and analysis pertaining to the implementation and delivery of ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support system, by identifying leading-edge related framework, methodology, and tools in recommending appropriate and innovative solutions to the key stakeholders to provide reasonable assurance of the adequacy and operating effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Degree in ICT technology/engineering discipline.

• Minimum 10-12 years of ICT experience in oil and gas, with sound multi-discipline ICT application and system (Production facilities / process / structure mechanical, electrical & instrument) technical.

• Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations.

• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and ICT hardware/software systems, and project management.

3. Electrical Technician

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems and associated equipment, including LV generators, to meet operational requirements.

• Operate switching systems for Low Voltage (LV) installations according to PTW (Permit to Work) requirements.

•  Conduct maintenance activities on High Voltage (HV) systems under supervision of Chargeman BO or above, as per operational needs.

• Supervise and coordinate LV electrical installation/modification works performed by contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with standards.

• Dismantle and assemble electrical equipment at installation sites and workshops, following standard work practices.

• Identify, coordinate, and ensure the availability of electrical spare parts for maintenance needs.

• Perform other assigned maintenance tasks to meet operational and maintenance requirements.

• Respond to emergencies in accordance with the company’s emergency response plan.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, especially in oil & gas or industrial environments.

• Strong understanding of LV and HV systems and safe electrical work practices.

• Familiar with PTW systems and emergency procedures.

• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and manuals.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams or under supervision.

• Willing to work in remote/offshore locations and during emergency situations.

4. Produk Operator

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Perform and maintain normal operating installation conditions according to standard procedures and update all data into relevant systems or programs.

• Operate equipment during start-up, shutdown, and after/post-maintenance activities based on established procedures and update operational records.

• Perform regular safety checks to ensure equipment operability and compliance with HSE rules, regulations, and company procedures.

• Respond to plant emergencies and upsets, including process shutdowns, as a member of the Emergency Response Team to ensure production continuity.

• Maintain records such as panel log sheets, activity logs, equipment histories, and shift handover checklists for smooth information sharing.

• Execute necessary precautionary actions for equipment or areas in line with PTW (Permit to Work) requirements for safe maintenance handover.

• Carry out gas testing duties (AGT tasks) as per PTW guidelines before maintenance work and update the data into appropriate records and systems.

Requirement:

• Technical diploma or vocational certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience as a Production Operator in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial plants.

• Good understanding of equipment operation procedures and process safety.

• Familiarity with PTW systems and emergency response protocols.

• Capable of handling start-up/shutdown sequences and routine inspections.

• Must be certified or willing to be certified as an Authorized Gas Tester (AGT)

• Able to work under pressure and in remote/onshore/offshore environments

5. Instrument Technician

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance on auxiliary field instrument devices as per maintenance procedures and update all data into relevant programs and/or systems.

• Perform functional checks of Fire and Gas Detection Systems/equipment to ensure operability and availability of the installation safeguarding system, and update all data into relevant programs and/or systems.

• Perform functional checks of Alarm and Shutdown System equipment to ensure operability and availability of the safety safeguarding system, and update all data into relevant programs and/or systems.

• Perform functional checks on instrumentation process control loops to ensure integrity as per maintenance procedures, and update all data into relevant programs and/or systems.

• Perform accuracy checks on instrumentation test equipment as per maintenance procedures, and update all data into relevant programs and/or systems.

• Perform control valve and external parts servicing as per maintenance procedures, and update all data into relevant programs and/or systems.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry or similar industrial environments.

• Good understanding of field instrumentation, control loops, and shutdown systems.

• Familiarity with Fire & Gas Detection Systems is preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.

• Computer literate and able to work with maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP, CMMS).

• Willing to work in remote locations and under rotational shifts.

6. Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene (OHIH) Doctor

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Provide primary medical care to employees and contractors at site, including consultation, treatment, and medical emergencies.

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic, return-to-work, and exit medical check-ups in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

• Implement occupational health surveillance programs, including monitoring of occupational diseases, work-related injuries, and fitness-to-work assessments.

• Advise on industrial hygiene matters, including workplace exposure to chemicals, noise, heat stress, and ergonomic risks

• Develop and manage health promotion programs, including awareness campaigns on disease prevention, lifestyle, hygiene, and mental health.

• Support emergency medical response plans, including first aid drills, medevac coordination, and participation in Emergency Response Team (ERT).

• Ensure medical facilities, equipment, and pharmaceuticals at site clinics are compliant with health regulations and company standards.

• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, health reports, and statistics for internal use and government reporting.

• Coordinate with local health authorities, hospitals, and third-party medical providers as needed.

• Provide recommendations on occupational health policies, procedures, and compliance with national and international health standards.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited university.

• Valid Indonesian medical license (STR aktif).

• Certification in Occupational Health (Hiperkes & Keselamatan Kerja) is mandatory.

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in occupational/industrial health, preferably in oil & gas, mining, or heavy industries.

• Training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or ATLS is a strong advantage.

• Good knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, exposure monitoring, and workplace hazard control.

• Familiar with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) regulations and reporting procedures.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Willing to be assigned in remote or offshore locations on a rotational schedule.

7. Sr. Drilling & Completion Engineer

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Plan and design drilling and completion programs in accordance with industry standards, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Evaluate offset well data and geological information to optimize drilling performance and mitigate risks.

• Supervise drilling operations, ensuring alignment with well plan, budget, and timeline.

• Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and service companies to optimize well design.

• Ensure proper selection and specification of drilling fluids, casing, and equipment.

• Review and analyze daily drilling reports, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement improvements.

• Lead post-well reviews and lessons learned sessions to enhance future performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in drilling and completion operations in the oil & gas industry.

• Proven experience in both onshore and offshore projects is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of well design, drilling fluids, directional drilling, and well control.

• Familiar with regulatory standards (e.g., SKK Migas, API, ISO).

• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English (oral and written).

8. Principal Sub Sea and Pipeline Engineer

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Review subsea and pipeline design for existing facilities and pre-FEED documentation.

• Perform facility adequacy checks relevant to subsea and pipeline engineering.

• Develop subsea and pipeline engineering documents for FEED.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants during concept selection and pre-FEED.

• Support technical preparation and attend meetings with stakeholders as required.

• Familiar with offshore subsea & pipeline design codes, standards, and best practices for fabrication and installation.

• Act as Technical Authority for all subsea and pipeline-related aspects (design, fabrication, installation).

• Prepare and review POD documents per PTK 037 Rev 1.

• Responsible for cost estimation of subsea and pipeline scopes during FEED and EPCI phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering design, fabrication, and installation of subsea and pipeline systems.

• Preferably with direct subsea and pipeline engineering experience in Natuna or similar offshore area.

• Must be experienced and highly familiar with subsea and pipeline design tools.

9. Sr. Drilling Fluid Engineer

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Design and manage drilling fluid programs for various well types (vertical, deviated, horizontal, HPHT).

• Select appropriate mud systems (water-based, oil-based, synthetic) based on formation type and well design.

• Monitor and analyze drilling fluid properties on a daily basis to ensure wellbore stability and prevent issues like kick, loss circulation, or stuck pipe.

• Coordinate with drilling engineers, service providers, and mud logging teams during operations.

• Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental standards in fluid handling, storage, and disposal.

• Supervise and troubleshoot fluid-related problems during drilling operations.

• Prepare end-of-well reports and provide recommendations for future well improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 10 years experience in drilling fluid engineering within the oil & gas industry.

• In-depth knowledge of mud chemistry, rheology, and hydraulics.

• Experienced with various mud systems including OBM, WBM, and SBM.

• Familiar with international and local regulations (e.g., SKK Migas, API standards).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE), particularly in offshore oil & gas operations.

• Proven track record in developing and implementing HSSE management systems, safety procedures, and emergency response plans.

• Strong understanding of Indonesian and international safety and environmental regulations, such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other industry best practices.

• Hands-on experience in environmental compliance monitoring, waste management, and regulatory reporting.

• Experience in managing or coordinating Occupational Health programs, including medical support, health surveillance, and remote site clinic readiness.

• Certified in BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety training.

• Familiar with incident investigation, risk assessment, and safety audit techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

• Willing to work in remote/offshore locations (e.g., Anambas) on a rotation schedule.
