BUSDEV (Business Development)

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) is preferred.

• Professional certifications:

o CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) – highly valued.

Work Experience

• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, financial planning, or related roles.

• Prior experience in:

o Financial modelling & forecasting

o Budgeting and variance analysis

o Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

o Capital raising, debt financing, or treasury management

• Experience in stakeholder management and working with senior leadership.

• Understand petrochemical industry from upstream to downstream is preferred.

• Expertise in building and maintaining complex financial models.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, ratios, and valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, etc.).

• Ability to support strategic decisions with data-driven insights.

Technical Proficiency

• Advanced skills in Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas).

Communication & Presentation

• Ability to create and present high-impact financial reports and presentations.

• Clear communication with executive leadership, auditors, and external partners.
