PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia is currently holding participating interest in 8 blocks across Indonesia, with 4 of them already in the production stage. Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia Operations is looking for the following professionals:

1. Procurement Officer - Third Party Contract

Execute operational sourcing activities through rationalization of departments’ request, meet urgent & ad-hoc requirements and guide user on SCM process to ensure compliance to Countries policies and procedures and meet business requirement.

Job responsibility and accountability:

• Implement and track procurement plans for materials and services to meet project schedules, avoid delays, and ensure compliance with country policies and governance standards while maximizing value creation.

• Conduct sourcing and tendering activities including bid preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award—in collaboration with stakeholders and in full compliance with tendering procedures to support project needs and optimize value.

• Improve sourcing systems, procedures, and processes by evaluating their effectiveness and implementing corrective actions to ensure alignment with established sourcing policies and enhance value creation.

• Provide guidance and standardized solutions using SCM guidelines to ensure user compliance with country policies and maintain process integrity.

• Address urgent procurement needs by optimizing resources, mitigating risks, and protecting project quality and timelines. Manage Tender Committee activities as Secretary to ensure an open, fair, and compliant tender process.

• Identify and share best practices and lessons learned to continuously improve project execution and enhance SCM performance in line with procedures, regulations, and business requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any technical, science or relevant discipline.

• An advanced degree in Management (MBA / BBA) or any internationally recognized professional qualification related to procurement and logistics, distribution, etc. is an added advantage.

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement/contract management related activities in Oil and Gas industry.

• Knowledge in procurement application system is an added advantage, i.e. SAP, SRM

• Hold PTK 007 certificate.

• Experience in handling EPCIC projects is an advantage.

Competency:

• Solid background in procurement and sourcing with deep understanding of oil & gas operations, supplier markets, and user requirements.

• Proficient in database management, Excel, and sourcing tools, with the ability to identify, track, and benchmark best practices to enhance value.

• Effective communicator with strong negotiation, relationship-building, and networking abilities; proven capability to work collaboratively with users and suppliers.

• Demonstrates integrity, business focus, strong planning, emotional stability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks, tight deadlines, and fast-changing requirements.

2. Sr. Project Engineer - Third Party Contract

Develop, monitor, and provide continuous support on project activities in terms of contract management, procurement, and project execution for the project to be cost effective manner, safe and timely delivery, whilst ensuring compliance to PETRONAS, Government and regulatory requirements and meeting customers’ and partner expectations.

Job responsibility and accountability:

• Develop, track, and update project execution plans, reporting progress, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions while ensuring effective contract and contractor management.

• Ensure project implementation complies with company requirements, regulations, standards, and specifications, and support the development of tender packages and contract terms.

• Lead construction management to meet schedule, quality, budget, and safety targets, using management tools to properly monitor contracts and prevent unauthorized commitments.

• Coordinate and interface with contractors, government agencies, and authorities throughout project execution, and expedite procurement processes to meet project timelines.

• Mentor and guide staff to foster the mindset and behaviors aligned with PETRONAS’ corporate aspirations and global performance goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering disciplines or equivalent.

• Minimum 8 - 10 years’ experience in oil and gas industry.

• Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations is an added advantage.

• Good written and oral command of the English Language

• Organised and structured worker, able to meet multiple tight deadlines.

• Good communication skills across multi functions

• Experience in handling EPCIC projects is an advantage.

3. Sr. HUC Engineer - Third Party Contract

Plan, lead, manage and implement all the approved HUC projects with optimum results, compliance to HSEMS and Statutory Regulations and cost effective whilst upholding the highest technical integrity to effectively monetize and grow PCML’s global portfolio and opportunities.

Job responsibility and accountability:

• Plan, manage, and implement approved Long-Term Work Barge, Workboat, and Supply Boat programs for HUC campaigns to maximize vessel utilization, create project synergies, and reduce operational cost. Ensure all approved projects are executed with optimal resources, logistics, and appropriate technologies to support asset monetization.

• Develop best practice plans by reviewing contractor proposals, evaluating work packs and safety documents, and monitoring all project phases—from prefabrication to offshore execution and close-out. Coordinate closely with Operations and Offshore Installation teams to optimize cost, schedule, and resources, while ensuring compliance with project objectives and corporate aspirations. Maintain and disseminate updated technical standards and best practices across projects and OPUs.

• Act as a solution provider by analyzing and recommending the best technical and operational solutions across all field life-cycle phases (acquisition, exploration, development, production, and decommissioning) to support sound investment decisions and effective risk mitigation.

• Identify, assess, and compile new and niche technologies to maintain competitive advantage and support continuous improvement.

• Administer and manage project interfaces among customers, contractors, and regulators to ensure smooth execution, contractual compliance, and minimal operational disruptions through continuous monitoring.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical, Chemical, Instrument & Control, Civil and Material Engineering

• At least 8 - 10 years in related activities for Oil and Gas industry.

• Organised and structured worker, able to meet multiple tight deadlines.

• Possess good communication and negotiation skills.

• Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, leadership skills and independent.

• Experience in handling EPCIC projects is an advantage.

4. Document Control - Third Party Contract

Plan and drive surface and sub-surface electronic and physical data management system including capturing, inventorying and organising it to support for asset integrity, exploration, specialized petroleum and production technology services and studies; field exploration, development and rejuvenation studies/full field reviews, surveillance studies, production enhancement and reserves addition implementation initiatives in order to maximize hydrocarbon reserves recovery, optimize field production and field life extension to achieve technical excellence for effective asset full life cycle management

Job responsibility and accountability:

• Oversee and maintain an effective Electronic Documentation Management System (EDMS) in accordance with PCSB guidelines (CMMG & CIMG) and PETRONAS Technical Standards to ensure data availability, reliability, and integrity.

• Lead the implementation of PETRONAS Record Management & Policy Guidelines by maintaining document control procedures and supporting the development and rollout of document control tools (e.g., OneDrive, ECM) to ensure proper identification, preservation, and timely disposal of records.

• Administer and review engineering change documentation by ensuring all engineering change packages comply with internal database and process requirements, and by leading the ECR and RTS processes for timely review and input from relevant stakeholders.

• Provide IT interface support for document control matters by recommending process improvements, enhancements to existing tools, and identifying best practices, including potential new hardware or software to strengthen the document control environment.

• Drive the development and implementation of records management procedures, including records keeping, lending, retrieval, and tracking systems, to ensure efficient records availability and fulfillment of user requests.

Requirements:

• Diploma degree in any discipline.

• Preferably, minimum 5 years in related activities for Oil and Gas industry.

• Organised and structured worker.

• Possess good communication.

5. Sr. Contract Engineer - Third Party Contract

Direct, control, supervise and provide expert support on project activities specializing in tender and contract management including procurement activities according to PETRONAS Project Management System Government and Regulatory requirements from initiation up to closure, and management of project elements including integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, communication, risk and HSE. This is to ensure project execution in terms of tender and contracting activities comply to all internal and external governance requirements while meeting stakeholders’ expectations.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Good knowledge in general project management of upstream Oil and Gas projects

• More than 8 – 10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry undertaking specific roles in contract management for EPCIC Project.

• Competent in contractual and legal terms with good negotiations skills

• Proficient in both Bahasa and English language

• Understanding of SKK Migas PTK-007 Rev. 05 is preferable.
