PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia is currently holding participating interest in 11 blocks across Indonesia, with 4 of them already in the production stage. Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia Operations is looking for the following professionals:

1. Sr. Marine Coordinator/Mooring Master

Plan, control, and optimize logistics operations, including marine, aviation, and shore base activities, to support operational excellence, maximize value returns, and meet customer and partner expectations by providing expert marine knowledge and ensuring compliance with standards while leading risk assessment, vessel inspections, and incident investigations to enhance safety and efficiency, and develop training programs, foster continuous improvement, and manage corporate governance and contracts to support operational excellence and safeguard the company’s interests.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize marine and aviation activities to support production targets and maximize revenue by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with marine operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental guidelines, and maritime laws. Additionally, monitor and evaluate operations continuously to drive improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements.

• Conduct thorough inspections of vessels and equipment to ensure they meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications by verifying operational readiness and compliance with safety, environmental, and operational regulations, and provide unbiased and comprehensive feedback (which include any potential risks, non-compliance issues, or recommendations for corrective actions) on inspection results to inform decision-making and ensure operational continuity.

• Participate in and lead investigations of marine incidents to determine root causes and contributing factors by gathering and analyzing data related to incidents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures and developing and implementing corrective action plans and best practices to enhance safety and operational efficiency.

• Develop and deliver training programs for personnel involved in marine operations, inspections, and incident investigations to foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence by insights sharing, lessons learned and drive the development of a competent working team to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.

• Enforce the implementation of applicable procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to safeguard the company’s interests and ensure smooth operations by leading the development of contracting terms and conditions for marine operations, ensuring completeness and compliance with industry best practices and fostering effective relationships with government authorities, industry players, and service providers.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in any marine technical discipline.

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Marine Operation.

• Having a strong background in marine technical and marine safety.

• Professional qualification as marine surveyor, marine supervisor or marine superintendent is an added advantage.

• Knowledge in marine rules and regulations is an added advantage i.e. Classification Society, IMO and other well-known marine practices.

• Knowledge in marine inspection system is an added advantage i.e. OVID-OCIMF and eCMID-IMCA.

• Knowledge in Supply Chain Management (SCM) application system is an added advantage i.e. SAP MM Module, SRM, e-Procurement Portal and e-Catalogue Procurement Process.

• Knowledge in Supply Chain Management (SCM) rules and regulations is an added advantage i.e. PTK 007 latest revision.

• Knowledge in HSSE Management System and Regulations is an added advantage i.e. ISM, ISPS, PTK 005 Pengelolaan K3LL Migas, etc.

• Knowledge in developing and monitoring HSE Plan and it’s KPI in detail is an advantage

2. Sr. Instrument Control & Metering Engineer

• Lead the development and implementation of Instrumentation, Control & Metering (ICM) reliability strategies to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable operation of process control and fiscal metering systems across offshore facilities.

• Review and ensure optimum design, specification, and engineering integrity of instrumentation and control systems, including participation in detailed design, technical bid evaluation, and project execution (FAT, SAT, CIST).

• Establish and maintain metering assurance programs, including validation, calibration, proving, and recertification of measurement systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and minimize hydrocarbon accounting discrepancies.

• Provide technical authority in instrumentation and control system selection, configuration, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and industry standards.

• Lead and participate in technical integrity and risk assessments, including HAZOP, IPF/SIF verification, and project risk assessments to ensure safe and reliable system design and operation.

• Drive instrument reliability and performance improvement, including failure analysis, obsolescence management, and lifecycle optimization for critical instrumentation and control systems.

• Ensure compliance with international standards and codes (e.g., IEC, API, ISO) and PETRONAS Technical Standards, as well as regulatory and fiscal metering requirements.

• Oversee the implementation and performance of control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and metering systems, ensuring alignment with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and functional safety requirements.

• Supervise and monitor contractors and vendors for instrumentation, control, and metering services, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and contractual obligations.

• Evaluate and deploy new technologies and digital solutions to enhance control system performance, data integration, and operational efficiency.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and competency development to engineering and operations teams in instrumentation, control, and metering disciplines.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering Physics (Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Systems, or related Engineering discipline).

• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in oil & gas E&P.

• Solid experience in Instrumentation, DCS/SCADA, SIS, and fiscal/custody transfer metering systems.

• Proven expertise in metering assurance (calibration, proving, validation, and recertification).

• Hands-on experience in control systems, functional safety (SIS), and IPF/SIF verification.

• Familiar with HAZOP, risk assessments, and Process Safety Management (PSM).

• Strong knowledge of IEC (61508/61511), API, ISO, and PETRONAS standards.

• Experience in engineering design review, FAT/SAT/CIST, and vendor/contractor management.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety, PE, metering certification) are an advantage

• Proven capability in managing contractor/vendor performance, including inspection contractors, subsea service providers, and ILI vendors.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a multidisciplinary offshore environment.

3. Sr. Asset Integrity Engineer

• Lead the development and implementation of Asset Integrity Management (AIM) programs to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of offshore facilities (FSO/floater and fixed platforms).

• Perform and drive Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), corrosion management, and Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessments, including remaining life evaluation to optimize inspection and maintenance strategies.

• Oversee offshore and subsea integrity activities, including UWILD execution, class survey coordination, class extension justification, and inspection of pipelines, risers, and offshore structures.

• Lead pipeline integrity management, including operational pigging, Inline Inspection (ILI) campaign execution, data interpretation, and defect assessment with appropriate repair strategies.

• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API, ASME, Class requirements) as well as PETRONAS Technical Standards and regulatory requirements.

• Integrate Process Safety Management (PSM) principles into integrity programs, including participation in HAZOP, RBI, and barrier management to prevent major accident hazards.

• Utilize CMMS / SAP PM and integrity data systems to plan, monitor, and optimize integrity and maintenance activities.

• Provide technical authority in engineering decisions, equipment selection, and modification, ensuring alignment with integrity and reliability requirements.

• Supervise and monitor contractors and vendors (inspection, subsea, ILI services) to ensure delivery in accordance with technical, safety, and contractual requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and digital initiatives to enhance integrity performance and operational efficiency.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams in offshore operating environments

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Mechanical, Naval, Structure or related discipline preferred).

• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in E&P oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in asset integrity, inspection, or reliability engineering roles, particularly in offshore facilities (FSO/floater and fixed platforms).

• Familiarity with CMMS / SAP PM and integrity data management systems.

• Professional certifications such as API (510/570/653), NACE/AMPP, or equivalent are an advantage.

• Proven capability in managing contractor/vendor performance, including inspection contractors, subsea service providers, and ILI vendors.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a multidisciplinary offshore environment.
