The Martabe Gold Mine, located in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, operates across 646.08 hectares as of December 2024. Since production began on 24 July 2012, the mine has processed over 6 million tonnes of ore annually, producing more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.

The Martabe Gold Mine operates under a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government. Initially spanning 6,560 km² in 1997, the concession area has been refined to 130,252 hectares (1,303 km²), encompassing South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal.

As of June 2025, mine’s mineral resources were estimated at 6.4 million ounces of gold and 58 million ounces of silver, while ore reserves were calculated at 3.56 million ounces of gold and 31 million ounces of silver.

To support our continued growth and operational excellence, Agincourt Resources is currently seeking a highly capable and motivated professional to join our Human Resources team and contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.

SENIOR METALLURGIST (MET 2605002)

This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Processing (Metallurgy) Department and will report directly to the Superintendent – Metallurgy Operations.

The Senior Metallurgist will be responsible for:

• Monitoring, analysing, and reporting plant performance to ensure operational efficiency and optimal process reliability.

• Identifying process improvement opportunities and providing technical recommendations to support continuous optimisation initiatives.

• Delivering technical and operational guidance to improve metallurgical performance and operational effectiveness.

• Supervising plant metallurgists and overseeing laboratory test work to ensure accurate, reliable, and effective metallurgical evaluation processes.

• Supporting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with operational and environmental standards.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Proven operational experience in Carbon in Leach (CIL) and Semi-Autogenous Grinding (SAG) milling processes.

3. Minimum five years of professional experience in metallurgical roles within gold processing operations.

4. Possession of a valid driver’s licence; Personal Occupational Proficiency (POP) certification will be considered an advantage.

5. Strong technical understanding of metallurgical processes, processing technologies, tools, equipment, and raw materials.

6. Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety hazards associated with mineral processing operations.

7. Ability to interpret and effectively execute written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings and technical documentation.

8. Strong adaptability, teamwork capability, and commitment to continuous professional development.
