1. Sr. Reliability Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure and continuously improve the reliability and integrity of critical equipment across regional operations by conducting failure analysis, driving improvement initiatives, reviewing operational and maintenance practices, and monitoring action plans to optimize asset performance and operational efficiency.
Job responsibility and accountability:
• Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies in line with Reliability & Integrity Management System (RIMS) requirements to enhance long-term plant and equipment reliability.
• Perform equipment life data analysis (LDA) e.g. Weibull analysis, failure trend analysis, MTBF evaluation, MTTR to understand failure behaviour, predict remaining life, and support maintenance strategy optimization.
• Monitor and analyse plant and equipment reliability performance, including preparation of reliability reports, bad actor management, and lesson learn sharing to ensure effective performance monitoring and continuous operational improvement.
• Coordinate and facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) activities to identify equipment failure causes, implement effective corrective and preventive actions, and improve overall plant/equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
• Review and evaluate operational and maintenance practices through Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) to strengthen equipment integrity, optimize maintenance strategies, and improve operational performance.
• Prepare work plans and budgets for reliability programs, including prioritization of initiatives, cost estimation, and tracking of expenditure to ensure effective and value-driven implementation.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of new technologies and improvement initiatives to enhance plant/equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company governance, HSE policies, and applicable procedures while promoting a strong culture of safety, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement across operations.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting team capability development, leadership growth, and collaborative working environments.
Requirements:
• Degree in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in related field.
• Familiar with SAP PM and MM module.
• Possess good communication and negotiation skills.
• Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, and independent
• Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations
2. Maintenance Planner
The successful candidate will be responsible to develop and execute long-term regional maintenance objectives, strategies, and integrated plans in compliance with design specifications, industry codes and standards, PETRONAS and statutory requirements, and the PCINO Asset Integrity & Maintenance System (AIMS), ensuring operational excellence, asset integrity, and world-class performance standards.
Job responsibility and accountability:
• Develop and implement long-term integrated maintenance strategies aligned with corporate maintenance philosophy to ensure facility reliability and technical integrity.
• Establish effective maintenance schedules, critical spare parts, and material requirements based on manufacturer recommendations, industry standards, and best practices to achieve equipment reliability targets.
• Oversee preparation and monitoring of Work Program & Budget (WP&B) to ensure efficient budget utilization and cost control for maintenance activities.
• Lead maintenance KPI implementation, performance reviews, and reporting to ensure maintenance activities are executed according to approved plans and objectives.
• Manage HSE initiatives and compliance with statutory, PETRONAS, and PCSB standards to promote strong HSE awareness and achieve safety objectives.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to align maintenance priorities with production goals.
Requirements:
• Degree in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 - 10 years in related activities for Oil and Gas industry
• Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, and independent.
• Have knowledge in tools needed for onshore and offshore facilities
• Proficiency in maintenance planning tools and systems (SAP).
• Certification in maintenance planning tools (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent CMMS) is an advantage
• Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations
• Familiarity with reliability engineering methodologies (RCM, FMEA, RBI).
3. Electrical Technician – as a Third Party
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, commissioning, and repair of electrical systems and equipment—particularly Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) packages, power distribution, and motor drive systems—to support safe, reliable, and cost effective operations of the Company’s offshore oil and gas production facilities, in accordance with the highest technical and HSE standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in accordance with approved procedures, OEM recommendations, and statutory requirements.
• Execute maintenance and troubleshooting on Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, including motors, MCCs, switchboards, lighting, UPS, battery systems, and LV distribution panels.
• Perform electrical maintenance activities on Medium Voltage (MV) systems—including transformers and MV switchgear in compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Support operation, inspection, and routine electrical maintenance of Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) packages, including generators, excitation systems, protection relays, synchronising panels, and GTG auxiliary electrical systems, in coordination with Mechanical, Instrument, and OEM/vendor teams.
• Carry out first line troubleshooting of Solar GTG electrical faults, alarms, and trips, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions in conjunction with discipline engineers and vendors.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on Variable Speed Drives (VSD) associated with production equipment, including ESP pump systems, covering drive panels, power electronics, control interfaces, and protection circuits.
• Support electrical aspects of ESP pump systems, including motor feeders, transformers, VSD supplies, insulation resistance testing, cable systems, and fault investigation in coordination with operations and vendors.
• Assist in installation, dismantling, assembly, commissioning, testing, and functional checks of electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, circuit breakers, protection systems, and electrical panels.
• Coordinate and monitor electrical installation and modification works performed by contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Develop and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for electrical maintenance activities in compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures; review subcontractors’ JSA submissions and provide technical and safety guidance.
• Provide electrical support during offshore shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start up activities.
• Prepare tools, materials, spare parts, and detailed task lists for routine maintenance and shutdown execution.
• Initiate, execute, and close maintenance work orders in CMMS (SAP), ensuring timely and accurate reporting of faults, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, testing, inspection, and equipment history records in CMMS.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and continuous HSE improvement initiatives.
• Participate as required in offshore emergency response activities in accordance with the Emergency Response Plan.
• Work closely with offshore operations, maintenance teams, subcontractors, and OEM/vendors to execute work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Polytechnic preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of hands on experience as an Electrical Technician in offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
• Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Permit to Work (PTW) practices in offshore oil & gas operations.
• Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of LV electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
• Exposure to MV electrical systems, transformers, and switchgear maintenance.
• Hands on experience supporting Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) electrical systems or working alongside OEM/vendor GTG maintenance teams.
• Experience with VSD driven equipment, preferably for ESP pump applications.
• Hands on experience using CMMS (SAP preferred) for maintenance execution and reporting.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with a systematic, safety focused approach.
• Ability to work under offshore rotational schedules and challenging operating conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore team.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership of tasks, and consistent commitment to safe operations.
Certification & Competency Advantages (Highly Preferred)
• Hazardous area training/certification.
• OEM or vendor training related to Solar Gas Turbine Generator electrical systems.
• OEM or vendor training for VSD and ESP electrical systems.
• Training or certification in electrical protection systems, synchronisation, or power generation systems.
• Certified Low and Medium Voltage either from LSP BNSP standard or from DJK (Dirjen Ketenagalistrikan).
4. Instrument Technician – as a Third Party
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, calibration, and repair of instrumentation, control, and related systems to support safe, reliable, and cost effective operations of the Company’s offshore process facilities, in accordance with the highest technical and HSE standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation, analysers, and control systems in accordance with approved procedures and OEM recommendations.
• Carry out troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and minor repairs on field instruments and control systems.
• Maintain and support Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS).
• Perform first-line troubleshooting for production-related IT and OT systems, including industrial networks, telecommunications systems, PI/System historian, and related infrastructure.
• Develop and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for instrumentation activities in compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures; review subcontractors’ JSA submissions and provide technical and safety guidance.
• Provide instrumentation support during offshore shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Prepare tools, materials, spare parts, and detailed task lists for routine maintenance and shutdown execution.
• Participate as required in offshore emergency response and recovery activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection data, and equipment history in CMMS.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and continuous HSE improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with offshore operations, maintenance teams, subcontractors, and vendors to execute work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Act as a senior field reference for instrumentation best practices and troubleshooting support.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
• Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related discipline (Polytechnic preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as an Instrument Technician in offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
• Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Permit to Work (PTW) practices in offshore oil & gas operations.
• Proven experience with field instrumentation and control systems, including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining DCS (Honeywell systems preferred).
• Adequate working knowledge of industrial IT and networking systems associated with production operations.
• Hands-on experience using CMMS for maintenance execution and reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a systematic, safety-focused approach.
• Ability to work under offshore rotational schedules and challenging operating conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore team.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership of tasks, and consistent commitment to safe operations.

• OEM or vendor training/certification in instrumentation and control systems (e.g. Honeywell DCS, SIS packages).
• Certification or formal training in Functional Safety, SIS maintenance, or IEC 61511.

5. Mechanical Technician – as a Third Party
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, commissioning, and repair of static and rotating mechanical equipment to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations of the Company’s offshore process facilities, in accordance with the highest technical and HSE standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on static and rotating mechanical equipment in accordance with approved procedures and OEM recommendations.
• Carry out troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and minor to intermediate repairs on rotating equipment such as gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and associated auxiliaries.
• Perform maintenance and inspection activities on static equipment including vessels, piping, valves, pressure relief devices, and packages.
• Support operation and maintenance of Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) units, including routine inspections, minor maintenance, and coordination with OEM/vendor representatives as required.
• Support maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU) equipment and associated mechanical systems.
• Develop and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for mechanical maintenance activities in compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures; review subcontractors’ JSA submissions and provide technical and safety guidance.
• Provide mechanical support during offshore shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Prepare tools, materials, spare parts, and detailed task lists for routine maintenance and shutdown execution.
• Participate as required in offshore emergency response and recovery activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history in CMMS.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and continuous HSE improvement initiatives.
• Manage and monitor mechanical spare parts and consumables usage in accordance with maintenance planning requirements.
• Support inspection and maintenance of life saving appliances (LSA) and firefighting equipment, ensuring statutory inspections and records are up to date.
• Work closely with offshore operations, maintenance teams, subcontractors, and vendors to execute work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Act as a senior field reference for mechanical maintenance practices and troubleshooting support.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
• Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Polytechnic preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of hands on experience as a Mechanical Technician in offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
• Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Permit to Work (PTW) practices in offshore oil & gas operations.
• Proven experience in maintenance of rotating equipment (GTG, compressors, pumps, fin fan coolers) and static equipment (vessels, piping, valves).
• Experience supporting or working alongside OEMs for Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) maintenance activities.
• Working knowledge or experience in maintenance of VRU systems is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience using CMMS (SAP preferred) for maintenance execution and reporting.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a systematic, safety focused approach.
• Ability to work under offshore rotational schedules and challenging operating conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore team.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership of tasks, and consistent commitment to safe operations.

• OEM or vendor training related to gas turbine, compressor, or rotating equipment maintenance (Solar GTG exposure preferred).

• Experience supporting statutory inspection or third party inspection activities.
• Certified Operate Pedestal Crane either MIGAS or DISNAKER
