We are a public company which operates in the Oil and gas field services sector. The Company provides onshore and offshore drilling services to oil and gas producers and other related services. The Company operates a fleet of drilling unit comprises submersible swamp barges, jack-up rigs and onshore drilling rigs.

We are looking for qualified candidates for the position below:

Legal & Compliance Officer – Oil & Gas / Drilling

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law is a must.

• Minimum 4 years of working experience in an in-house legal department in oil & gas, energy, drilling, offshore services, or related industries. Have experienced in reputable law firm will be an advantage.

• Strong experience in commercial contract drafting, review, negotiation, and contract risk management.

• Understanding of oil & gas operations, particularly drilling activities, rig operations, oilfield services, or offshore operations will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.

• Ability to understand business operations and provide practical legal solutions.

• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in English, both oral and written

Jobs description:

• Provide legal support and advice for the Company’s oil & gas drilling and energy-related operations.

• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including drilling contracts, oilfield service agreements, vendor/service contracts, procurement agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other business transactions.

• Provide legal analysis and practical advice on operational and commercial risks arising from business activities.

• Handling drilling contracts, rig contracts, offshore/marine service agreements, EPC contracts, or energy-related projects.

• Manage contractual issues such as liability, indemnity, insurance, HSE obligations, warranty, and contractor management.

• Support contract management and ensure proper legal protection of the Company’s interests.

• Collaborate with operational, engineering, commercial, procurement, and finance teams to support business objectives.

• Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on applicable laws and regulations affecting the Company’s operations
