PT. Tuah Globe Mining (TGM) is a coal mining company established in 2012. The company is located in Tangirang Village and Dirung Koram Village, Kapuas Hulu District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. TGM has obtained a Mining Business License (IUP) for Production Operations with Number 68/DISTAMBEN Year 2012. The area of TGM's IUP for Production Operations reaches 4,000 hectares, divided into eastern and western zones. Based on preliminary exploration results, TGM has total coal reserves of 55 million metric tons (MT), With total measured resources based on drill data that has been carried out is 6 million MT. TGM's coal production capacity reaches 1,000,000 tons per year. The average calorific value of TGM coal ranges from 6,767 to 7,307 Kcal/Kg.

 

Job Title: Mine Operation Manager

Salary Range: Based on experience (negotiable)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operation Manager with POU certification to oversee and manage coal mining operations. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and effective coordination across departments and mining contractors to achieve production targets.

Main Duties

• Operational Planning – Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans aligned with production targets.

• Production Management – Monitor and control mining activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.

• Safety & Compliance – Enforce HSE standards and ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.

• Resource Allocation – Manage manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity.

• Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and motivate operational teams to achieve company objectives.

• Contractor Liaison – Liaise with and monitor mining contractor performance to ensure production targets are achieved.

• Reporting & Analysis – Prepare operational reports, analyze performance data, and recommend improvements.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Certification: POU certification (It is required)

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in coal mining operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of mining processes, good mining practice (KepMen ESDM No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018), HSE regulations (SMKP), and operational management systems.

• Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work under roster-based schedules.

• Language Skills:

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.

• Proficient in English (spoken and written) for communication with national and international stakeholders.

• Employment Terms

• Roster-based assignment in Central Kalimantan.
