PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals (PT NHM) is a joint venture between Newcrest Mining Limited 75% and PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) 25% operating Gosowong Gold Mine in Halmahera Utara Regency, North Maluku Province.

PT NHM has the following position available and looking candidate to fill the role:

X1 Deputy Operation Director - Social Performance

1. Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in Social / Political / Communication or related disciplines (Advanced/master’s or equivalent is an advantage).

2. Minimum 15 (Fifteen) years experienced in areas of Corporate Social Responsibility with 5-10 years’ experience as manager, preferably in Mining / Plantation Industry, and experienced working at the same area in other similar companies is an added value.

3. Have proven track record in managing stake holder team in Mining and Plantation Company.

4. Good understanding of government regulation in Indonesia related to Mining, Community Development and Empowerment, Public Affairs, and management of village fund

5. Have experience in coordinating with Government, Police and National Army

6. Proven strong skill in communication with stakeholders including ability to build network government, media, and journalis.

7. Possess capability to identify, analyse, mapping, manage stakeholder and risks; as well as establish stakeholder engagement strategy to support mining operation.

8. Candidates should have a strong analytical and working knowledge of sustainable programs related Social performance.

9. Have excellent English Writing and speaking skill.

10. Able to draft, implement and review the department’s required policies and procedures.

11. Care about safety and good working condition.

12. Willing to work in fixed term work agreement (contract based).

13. Willing to live in Gosowong site with a roster working model 20 work days / 10 days off.

X1  Superintendent – Government Relations

1. Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in Social Science/Politics/Communication.

2. Minimum 8 (Eight) years’ experience in Corporate Social Responsibility/Community Relations, preferably in Mining, or similar industry

3. Proven track record in supervising or managing teams

4. Good understanding of Indonesian government regulations related to Mining, Community Development and Empowerment, and management of village funds

5. Ability to identify, analyse, and manage stakeholder risks; as well as develop a stakeholder engagement strategy to support a mining operation

6. Proven strong stakeholder communication skills including ability to build constructive networks with government, community, and  media

7. Ability to produce reports in both written and oral format

8. Familiarity with office computer software (minimum Excel, Word, Powerpoint and ability to develop presentations.

9. Fluency in oral and written English

10. Commitment to work health and safety

11. Willingness to work on a fixed term work agreement (contract based)

12. Willing to live on Gosowong site with a roster working model 28/14

X1 Superintendent – Industrial Relations

1. Bachelor Degree in in Law / Human Resource Management / Psychology (Master Degree would be an advantage

2. Min 8 years plus experience as IR Supervisor in mining industry

3. Able to  managing employee issue, grievance, complain in relation with company policy & general relation between company & Employee

4. Able to run projects related to Industrial Relations and able to evaluate effectiveness of company policy to encourage employee discipline

5. Having strategic in increasing employee productivity and excellent internal consultation skills

6. Able to continuously review CLA to make sure it can keep up with current business situation.

7. Able to make report and deliver presentation using English

8. Becoming bridge for management and union to communicate if there any issue

9. Excellent in English is a must

10. Influencing ability with the personal credibility to build effective relationships with stakeholders

11. Familiar to operate Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoints, Visio)

12. Willing to work in fixed term work agreement (contract based) on remote area with roster system, 28 days’ work, 14 days off

X1 Manager – Human Resources

1. Bachelor Degree in Law / Human Resource Management / Psychology (Master Degree would be an advantage

2. Min 20 years plus experience as a Site HR Manager in an international mining industry

3. Broad HR Generalist skill set including : Workforce Planning, Industrial & Employee Relations, Compensation, Training & Development, Coaching and Mentoring, Performance Management, Capability Planning, Organisational Design, Change Management

4. Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills including communication, listening, coaching, delegating, mentoring and performance management

5. Demonstrated understanding of the Indonesian legal framework related to employment and ability to lead labour agreement negotiations

6. Demonstrated experience in driving and delivering programs and initiatives which have contributed to improved outcomes in terms of people, performance and culture

7. Excellent internal consultation skills

8. Influencing ability with the personal credibility to build effective relationships with stakeholders

9. Cost-benefit analytical skills – ability to calculate the monetary costs and benefits of proposed alternatives

10. Excellent in written and verbal communication both Bahasa Indonesia and English 

11. Able to handle stressful work environment and willing to work at remote area

12. Willing to work in fixed term work agreement (contract based) with roster 20 workdays / 10 days off

X1 Manager – Goldfields Geology

1. Bachelor degree in Geology (Master degree would be an advantage)

2. Min 15 years working experiences in open pit and underground mining operations

3. Strong managerial skills and leadership on time management, people management and resource management.

4. Overall management skills of ore resource, production forecasts and strategy, and geological plans

5. Familiar with data, mapping and modelling software, GIS remote sensing equipment etc.

6. Have an ability to work with and oversee multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists

7. Have an ability to managing the mapping drill cores and rock cuttings, and investigating the result

8. POM or POU certification

9. Strong analytical thinking, conceptual and presentation skills

10. Able to analyse numerical and graphical data

11. Strong commitment to safe and efficient operations

12. Have a good work ethic and be goal oriented

13. Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve safe, effective and efficient performance

14. Demonstrated experience in driving and delivering programs and initiatives which have contributed to improved outcomes in terms of people and performance

X1 Senior Supervisor Electrical – Underground

1. Bachelor/Diploma degree (S1/D3) Electrical Engineering or equivalent

2. Minimum 10 (ten) years’ experience as Electrician in mining company

3. Minimum 5 (five) years’ experience in supervisory level

4. Good understanding in PLC control system and certification for HV work

5. Having analytical skill to solve problems and troubleshooting accurately

6. Hold a License AK3 Teknisi Listrik (Kemenakertrans RI) certification

7. POP certification

8. Computer literate (MS Office, MS Project, Auto CAD, Computer based maintenance system)

9. Makes decisions independently on electrical and instrumentation problems & methods

10. Willing to maintain a high level of safety awareness in the work place

11. Care about safety and good working condition

12. Fluent in English

13. Willing to to work in fixed term work agreement (contract based) with roster 20 workdays / 10 days off

X1 MANAGER – SOCIAL PERFORMANCE

1. Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in Development Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related disciplines (Advanced/master’s or equivalent is an advantage).

2. Minimum 15 (fifteen) years professional work experiences in sustainable development programs with minimum 5-10 years’ experience as superintendent in stakeholder engagement, government relations and sustainable development programs.

3. A talent working and managing expectation with a variety of stakeholders as Manager.

4. Good understanding of government regulation in Indonesia related to Mining, Community Development and Empowerment, Public Affairs, and management of village fund.

5. Proven experiences in project management, familiar with logical framework analysis tool and monitoring evaluation tools.

6. Able to manage  the Sustainable Livelihood programme and the community Health and Education programme  component of the 1% Community Development Fund and ensure all programmes are aligned and balanced to community needs and company strategic objectives

7. Candidates should have a strong analytical and working knowledge of sustainable programs related to economic development, health, & education.

8. Able to produce good structural reports (written & verbal).

9. Able to manage the Grievance Management process and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of it

10. Familiar with office computer software (minimum spreadsheet, word processor, presentation and graphic design) and able to conduct presentation.

11. Have excellent English Writing and speaking skills

12. Care about safety and good working condition

13. Willing to live in Gosowong site with a roster working model 20/10
