PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining, and processing at the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. PTAR is headquartered in Jakarta and employs over 3,000 workers as of 2024, with more than 99% being Indonesian citizens and over 70% recruited locally. The Martabe Gold Mine, located in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, operates across 646.08 hectares as of December 2024. Since production began on 24 July 2012, the mine has processed over 6 million tonnes of ore annually, producing more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.

The Martabe Gold Mine operates under a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government. Initially spanning 6,560 km² in 1997, the concession area has been refined to 130,252 hectares (1,303 km²), encompassing South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies.

As of June 2024, the mine’s mineral resources were estimated at 6.1 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver, while ore reserves were calculated at 3.2 million ounces of gold and 32 million ounces of silver.

The Martabe Gold Mine is currently seeking a qualified professional to join our Corporate Communications Department Team, supporting the enhancement of departmental capabilities and the achievement of strategic objectives.

 

SENIOR SUPERVISOR - CREATIVE BRANDING SPECIALIST

This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Corporate Communications Department and will report directly to the Superintendent – Communications & Outreach Strategy.

The Senior Supervisor – Creative Branding Specialist plays a key role within the Corporate Communications team, focusing on the development and management of the Agincourt Resources brand to ensure a cohesive and impactful identity across all communication platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shaping stakeholder and public perception of the company by delivering innovative publications and integrated campaigns that align with Agincourt Resources’ values, enhance its reputation, and support its strategic branding goals.

• Upholding and elevating the company’s corporate image through the creation of branded materials, storytelling initiatives, and visual communication assets.

• Designing and executing communication strategies that effectively engage both internal and external audiences.

• Supporting change management and strategic initiatives by producing high-impact content and managing key communication channels. This includes initiatives related to Business Process Improvement, Human Resources (HR), Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), Information Technology (IT), Operations, Community Engagement, and other cross-functional programs.

• Strategic Brand Understanding and Alignment

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s vision, mission, short- and long-term goals, unique branding propositions, core values, brand strengths, and historical evolution to develop effective communication and branding strategies aligned with the company’s identity.

• Brand Value Enhancement through Problem Solving

Identify key branding and communication challenges, propose practical and creative solutions, and support initiatives that elevate the company’s brand value, particularly in the context of sustainable mining and social contribution.

• Publication & Digital Media Optimization

Monitor, research, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of the company’s publications and digital media; deliver data-driven recommendations to improve reach, relevance, and audience engagement.

• Integrated Communication and Publication Strategy

Design and lead integrated communication and publication strategies that resonate with the mining industry’s landscape. Strengthen brand visibility and credibility across internal and external stakeholder groups.

• Campaign Development and Communication 

Lead the ideation, creation, and execution of communication campaigns across diverse channels. Serve as a strategic advisor on communication matters and deliver compelling content that reinforces key corporate narratives.

• Documentation and Brand Asset Management

Organize, maintain, and develop structured communication databases, including brand assets, publication materials, and campaign archives to ensure consistency and efficiency in all branding initiatives.

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in communications, Visual Design, Literature, or a related discipline.

2. Demonstrate proven expertise in developing and implementing creative strategies for branding, communication, and publication, along with the ability to assess their effectiveness.

3. Ideally have at least 10 years of professional experience in Communications or related fields such as Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Visual Communication Design, Advertising, Marketing Communications, Journalism, Copywriting, Creative or Advertising Agencies, Digital Media Strategy, Campaign Management, or Content Development.

4. Exhibit a strong ability to work independently while also being a collaborative and effective team player.

5. Highly driven, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and the flexibility to work extended hours when needed.

6. Possess outstanding writing and design skills, with proficiency in audio-visual and digital tools (e.g., image, video editing software, flash) and web-based platforms.

7. Display strong communication and writing capabilities, adaptable for varied audiences in both Indonesian and English.

8. Experienced in offering strategic guidance on complex creative communication challenges for both internal and external stakeholders, including crisis communications.

9. Proven ability to manage and deliver complex, multi-stakeholder projects effectively from initiation through completion.

10. Show excellent organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

11. Resourceful and innovative, capable of delivering cost-effective and creative solutions.

12. Passionate about branding, with a strategic mindset to analyze, ideate, and leverage modern technologies and concepts to articulate an authentic and compelling employer brand while continuously enhancing the company’s value proposition.
