Technical Services Manager

About the role

Currently we are seeking a Technical Services Manager based in Orica Indonesia’s head office in Jakarta. This key leadership position will be accountable for leading Indonesia’s Technical Services Team and developing initiatives focussed on delivering measurable value to customers and sustainable revenue to Orica. This role will report directly to President Director of PT Orica Mining Services and will be working on 5 days on and 2 day off roster (Monday to Friday).

What you will be doing

• Leading Indonesia’s 40+Technical Services Team; managing performance, providing direction and driving development of Orica’s key technical personnel

• Continuously developing your technical drill and blast skills and knowledge. Understanding the capability of emerging Orica technologies and advanced blasting methodologies and how they can be applied to improve drill and blast results and drive benefits for downstream operations.

• Auditing Technical Services Team’s competency to comply with Orica Standards. Developing training plans to ensure team skill sets remain current and industry leading, particularly regarding implementation of new Orica technology and advanced blasting techniques

• Building relationship with Orica’s customers. Understanding their business, key value drivers and how Orica’s technical capability can help add value to their operations

• Adhering to and mentoring Orica technical and operations personnel in Orica’s Safe Operating Procedures and providing guidance to customers regarding safe, efficient and smart application of Orica products

• Leading teams to deliver technical projects, implementing Orica technology and advanced blasting techniques to deliver value to customer operations through improved blasting results and applications

• Developing technical method statements for customer tender responses. Identifying how Orica technology and technical capability can provide benefits to customer operations, to secure new business and retain existing customers

• Supporting PT Orica Mining Services Territory Manager’s in customer value added projects and engagements, demonstrating thorough understanding of their operations and benefits Orica products and services can provide

• Training and accrediting customers in Orica courses, upskilling customer personnel to provide industry leading capability in their drill and blast operations

What you bring

• Comprehensive expertise in specialist drill and blast applications, design and planning;

• Strong people management and leadership skills.

• A minimum degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline;

• A minimum 5 years in the mineral resources industry, preferably through multiple sites and commodities;

• Good communication and presentation skills;

• Commercial knowledge of mining impacts and an understanding of the cost & profit mechanism in the mining environment;

• Adaptable in responding changing to business needs, guiding the prioritizing of business’s initiatives;

• Training and assessing certification (preferred);

Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

Currently we are seeking Accounts Payable Officer for Jakarta Office, Indonesia. The main role of this position is to input accurate processing of Accounts Payable in timely manner, following company policy. This role will report directly to Accountant and will be working on 5 days on and 2 days off roster.

 What you will be doing

• Ensuring all process comply with Orica’s SHES System, policies & procedures

• Ensuring the accuracy of vendor’s invoices with relevant supporting documents, including tax

• Processing all vendor’s invoices in timely manner

• Investigation any error purchasing contracts

• Performing daily cash balance reconciliation

• Preparing monthly reconciliation for creditor accounts

• Supporting internal and external audit process

What you bring

• Having a minimum 2 years of experience in the business environment

• Understanding direct exposure of accounting and purchasing principles

• Proficient in SAP accounts payable

• Having good understanding of payment technologies

• Good communication skills

• Excellent customer services skills
