SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Monitor, control and supervise all civil engineering works, produce accurate and complex engineering calculations and documents to ensure all output are accurate, consistent and in a timely manner conform to International Engineering and Safety Standards and codes.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experiences in Civil Engineering
• Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
• Familiar with Civil Engineering Software (Terramodel).
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and review all civil work and document to ensure all work adheres to international Engineering standards and codes as well as company’s management system
• Prepare and conduct complex Civil Engineering calculations in order to produce calculations of consistent accuracy
• Prepare and analyze specifications, basis of design, and engineering reports in order to produce documents of consistent accuracy
• Prepare and evaluate RFQ (Request for Quotations) packages and conduct TBE (Technical Bid Evaluations) in order to ensure RFQ’s and TBE’s accuracy and consistency
• Monitor and review the preparation of CTR’s (Contribution to Ratios) and provide input into scheduling in order to ensure CTR’s accuracy
• Monitor and control the preparation of civil engineering drawing reports to ensure all reports are accurate and in a timely manner
• Operate and control civil engineering software packages and evaluate output (Terramodel) to suggesting changes and improvement where needed
• Provide technical support and technical guidance to associate engineer and personnel in order to conduct transfer of knowledge.
SENIOR CIVIL ESTIMATOR
(Assignment: Head Office)
To prepare detailed cost estimates the Company can have confidence in, all in accordance with Company procedures and accepted good practice for the industry. Actively assist the Estimating Team to continually enhance estimating procedures and processes. Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times.
Requirement:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years working experiences, with minimum 2 years as an estimator. Preferably has experience in Material Handling Works
• May require local & overseas travel for site visits as well as occasional short term assignments to work in other Petrosea/Indika offices, partners offices etc.
• Overtime working will be required from time to time
• May require acting as a Lead Estimator and/or Tender Manager
• May require to be rotated as a Project Engineer on site once Petrosea can secure the project
• Strong background in technical aspect of project site supervision, technical standard, method of work, calculation, and preferably also in design work
• Computer Literate (Ms. Office), MS Project, preferably also AutoCAD, Primavera, Tecla, Helix
Responsibilities:
• Review proposal specifications and drawings and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
• Investigate site before bid, identifying waste area, borrow area and dump sites and review detailed report of existing local conditions, available facilities and technical capabilities
• Review and monitor Estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail and is in accordance with good estimating practice. Sufficient explanatory notes are to be included referring the location of supplementary information
• Review and monitor that a comprehensive Subcontract Enquiry Package is sent only to Company Approved Subcontractors for any “major subcontract” work. Terms and conditions of the Subcontract Package must be back to back with the head contract. Comprehensive Subcontract Enquiry Packages to be reviewed by all Division functional departments
• Review and monitor Subcontractor responses are properly evaluated and the results tabulated on a Subcontractor Bid Evaluation spreadsheet
• Analyze and recommend (with the Bid Manager and Lead Estimator) the “big ticket” items in the Estimate and proactively works on these with the bid team with a value added outcome as the aim
• Analyze benchmarking productivities to be applied to the Estimate against recognized industry norms. The productivity uplift/discount shall be shown separately for each bill item in the estimate
• Prepare evaluation and ranking of risks as well as developing a strategy to manage and mitigate the risks to Company. R&O Matrix is to serve as the basis for estimating an appropriate contingency allowance for inclusion in the Cost Estimate
• Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality or availability of materials Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work; price work items
• Review terms and conditions of subcontractor and vendor quotes; serve as a liaison with subcontractors and vendors during the bidding process.
SENIOR COST CONTROLLER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Establish administrative controls, monitoring project from Tender, and responsible for execution up to Close out phase as the key to achieve budget goals.
Requirements:
• Min. Diploma degree with 5 years experiences in project control
• Understand and operate project control system such as Dbase, Ms. Access, Ms. Excel, Power Point, and likely knowledge in SAP and PRISM
• Ability to establish cost control monthly report
• Ability to operate computer and other office facilities
• Knowledge of best practices in project administration, procedures, and contract
• Good analytical and supervisory skill
• Good communication in English
• Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to set up Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for controlling and reporting in accordance with Company standard. The WBS will be reviewed and approved by Project Control Manager and Project Manager
• Responsible to have and maintain appropriate administrative controls in place daily and monthly in accordance with Company procedures from award to completion, using the right data collected from all departments at site and off site
• Responsible to prepare, review and approve the cost report for the Project Monthly Report in accordance with reporting deadlines
• Assist the Project Manager in accurately forecasting cost and resources to ensure Project margins are met
• Responsible to report discrepancies, defaults or nonconformities in the Forecast or records to the Project Manager as soon as they become known and prepare the Variance analysis Report
• Responsible to prepare Monthly Progress Claims and to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted and payment received within the payment terms of the Contract
• Responsible to extract data from EAM to check quantity and price as committed cost and compare to approved budget and allocate budget cost distribution and do the budget approval on Purchase Requisition
• Prepare calculation of accrual cost incurred at end of month based on actual progress and booked cost
• Responsible to review and confirm Subcontractor invoices are as per Contract terms & condition and issue COP/PPC’s (Process Payment Certificate) for further payment process
• Responsible to clarify payment status with Subcontractor and to review and confirm Close Out of Subcontractor agreement
• Ensures the Risk & Opportunity register maintained by Project Manager and uses the register’s output of Contingency for inclusion within the approved Forecast
• Understands the detail project schedule and the important milestones being managed by the Project Planner and reflected in Forecast
• Provide actual cost information to Proposal Team to assist in evaluation of tenders.
SENIOR ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT ENGINEER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Produce accurate engineering calculations and documents in order to perform engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks; review & monitor engineering tasks progress and carry out the responsibilities of Superior when needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experiences in electrical Engineering
• Familiar with Engineering Software (ETAP)
• Meet Engineering deadlines
• Willing to travel to project site.
Responsibilities:
• Develop documents (Specifications, Data Sheets and Material Take Off) to ensure they adhere to client requirements, international Engineering standards and codes as well as company’s management system
• Prepare and conduct engineering calculations in order to produce calculations of consistent accuracy
• Prepare RFQ (Request for Quotations) packages and conduct TBE (Technical Bid Evaluations) in order to produce RFQ which conform to company’s procedures
• Review relevant interdisciplinary engineering documents accurately
• Operate engineering software packages and evaluate output in order to have an accurate result
• Support Business Development in estimating materials and costs required in a tender process
• Carry out the responsibilities of Superior or provide technical support/leadership on project
• Coordinate with engineers/designers regarding project electrical activities with utility and other disciplines for their area of responsibility
• Develop and maintain project schedule, progress reports, and cost estimates
• Ensure consistency and integrity of electrical design throughout project and review design for logic and functionality
• Develop detailed electrical specifications for the project
• Perform/witness test at project site for all specified electrical equipment/installation ad required
• Monitor pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical systems
• Perform engineering tasks and work with engineers and designers to provide electrical solutions for new design and potential improvement on existing designs
• Check and review electrical design as per QA/QC standards
• Perform assessment of and prepare its written reports documenting the existing electrical systems
• Interpret, explain, and carry out electrical engineering design, inspection, and construction methods and procedures
• Liaise with other professional engineering personnel, as well as contractors and their representatives
• Check and review detailed and complex electrical engineering plans, specifications, and related reports.
SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

SENIOR MECHANICAL & PIPING ENGINEER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Direct and control the Mechanical/Piping engineering unit by providing leadership and support to the people in the unit to ensure that schedules, budgets and man-hours are achieved complies with company and client standards and procedures.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years experiences in handling Mechanical and Piping, process design and process engineering
• Strong Leadership
• Analytical thinking
• Excellence computer skill.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review the quality of estimates produced by the Mechanical and Piping Engineering disciplines to ensure Engineering estimates are accurate, complete and deliver on time
• Plan, direct and review design activities produced by Mechanical and Piping Engineering disciplines to ensure designs are fit for purpose comply with budget, client and industry specifications in timely manner delivered
• Analyze and review contract to ensure the overall contract are comply with the scope of work and contract terms and conditions as they apply to mechanical and piping engineering
• Develop and maintain Mechanical and Piping engineering resources including coordinate the allocation of design work within the discipline group to ensure timely and efficient production of quality designs
• Control and coordinate the development of new ideas, methods and innovative designs through the application of quality, competitive mechanical and piping engineering in order to improve the company’s marketability, efficiency and profitability
• Establish, review and promote the Development Program for staff and graduate engineer, in order to develop and enhance their performance and motivation
• Establish and review timely progress report for Mechanical and Piping engineering activities for further analyze by Engineering Manager
• Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
WORKSHOP AND FIELD SUPERINTENDENT
(Assignment: Project Site)
Support the Maintenance Manager by ensuring correct and best practices in Plant, Equipment and Workshop activities, including field operations are carried out, to align with project targets and schedules. Delivering effective equipment/plant availability while undertaking all safety standards, procedures and policies are administered in the work place. Nurture a Strong safety culture and Mentor - develop the direct reports –i.e. the Petrosea team members within (i.e.- Other Superintendents, Supervisor and Foreman positions) plus all non-staff supporting roles. Identify and resolve any issues (troubleshooting) that effect equipment or plant availability, including Investigations and technical reporting on product failures and or product designs. Ensure Asset KPI’s are maximized and schedules are not compromised. Effective communication with the key members within PTP. Enhance and improve safety standards in the workplace under direct control/report. Enhance the work process and quality – reduce redo or rework situations with the work areas under direct control/report. Effective parts ordering and reducing parts wastages. Monitoring target KPI’s set down by Asset Management and coordinates these KPI’s within the workshop areas of responsibility. Effective manpower scheduling and work task executions. Effective back log management control and scheduling through the workshop.
Requirements:

Responsibilities:
• Control safe work practices and processes for all maintenance and plant activities, including using reference materials internally from Petrosea and or OEM manuals, effective use of Job Hazard Analysis for completing the planned and unplanned tasks, ensuring that maintenance activities are being carried out safely according to established plan
• Control the work flow processes for all maintenance and plant activities, including estimating time, supplies and personnel required for completing the planned and unplanned tasks, ensuring that maintenance activities are being carried out according to established plan
• Report to Maintenance Manager regarding direct issues impacting project equipment availability, vendor support, and manpower, component or parts issues, along with reporting any SHE incidents involving equipment or Asset manpower directly
• Provide and report via detailed technical reports related to equipment or plant deficiencies affecting the project to the Maintenance Manager
• Maintain company’s equipment efficiently, maintain and reduce cost as appropriate, in order to optimize asset utilization, look at cost optimization in the workshop and field
• Manage all Equipment/Workshop Tooling permits as required to ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid
• Maintaining and implementing SHE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
• Active Role model to subordinates, mentor and develop designated team members within direct control, led by example

BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Lead, develop, manager, and review implementation of effective strategy initiative related to E&C Operation Data Based, procedures and performance, using established continuous improvement techniques in order to reduce inefficiency, identify, and prioritize opportunity in E&C project.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial especially has E&C environment experience
• Certified and min. 7+ years experiences implementing change using continuous improvement tools (i.e.: Six Sigma, Balance Scorecard, Malcolm Baldrige, Statistical Process Control, ISO 9000 Series, etc.)
• Strong computer skills, preference is competent using statistical software application such as MINITAB or equivalent
• Strong on analytical (multi variance data) skills and problem solving skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Willing to travel frequently to the company’s project sites
• Good understanding of Mining & Construction Business Process

Responsibilities:
• Plan and develop improvement strategies for E&C Projects to reduce inefficiency of E&C business process (cost, time, and resources) and also increase company profits
• Develop a learning culture of continuous improvement, analyze the root causes for inefficiencies and/or defects, improve the process capability by eliminating the root causes, and control the new process to sustain the improvements
• Control mentoring activities and teach continuous improvement tools and techniques to project personnel, acting as a resource to lead improvement initiatives
• Responsible in leading continuous improvement teams directed at high impact projects, within the E&C department
• Develop and implement strategy or culture in knowledge sharing and application of E&C best practices
• Manage, monitor and review all ongoing projects and promptly provide relationship support to Client, financial, and technical E&C support to ensure project development conform to the initial plan
• Develop and follow a specific method/discipline strategy to measure the gap between current process capability with the E&C project's goals
• Control, monitor and improve the implementation of improvement programs to maintain the improvements, and based on the results continuously adjusts the business strategic action plans

SHE MANAGER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Create a proactive Health Safety and Environmental culture by directing and assisting with the evaluation, development, maintenance, and management of key HSES processes.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably from Occupational Health & Safety
• Minimum 8 (eight) years previous experiences in SHE and 3 (three) years in managerial position
• Excellent analytical, supervisory, and interpersonal skill
• Will be preferred if understand of Mining Safety and or Plant Safety
• Hold AK3 certified from government (will be preferred if hold POM certificate)
• Conversant with Risk Management Knowledge, Incident Accident investigation process and Audit process
• Good leadership and communication/presentation skill
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian
• Willing to work at remote area
• Willing to work extended hours to meet the objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategy of Safety, Health, and Environment based achievement organization to influence SHE awareness across project site
• Lead and monitor the implementation of project Safety, Health, and Environment Management Plans, and Emergency Response Procedures to ensure target plans are achieved
• Lead and monitor implementation of SHE policies and procedures to ensure all employee in head office and project site are familiar with and understand management of SHE
• Lead and responsible with business activities in a Journey to Zero harm to People, Community, and Environment in Petrosea project operation
• Participate and review new project kick off meeting to determine effective project SHE Management Plan and integrate company’s system with client’s
• Lead by example and have a proactive approach to all Safety, Health, and Environment related issues in order to influence SHE awareness among employees
• Perform routine scheduled inspections and assessment to ensure SHE adherence in project site locations
• Analyze and identify hazards and risks during the planning phase of work packages in order to minimize exposure to personnel and the environment
• Monitor and review Project SHE Management System and procedures to ensure compliance with government SHE regulations, including distribution of any changes and amendments, and any new legislation
• Identify and proposed any new SHE initiatives in order to manage and control the hazard and risk on site
• Performing a strong visible commitment in to SHE Management System as well as all programs
• Ensure the alignment between corporate and project related with the SHE Management System, policies, and procedure which supporting the business and also the mining operation
• Support SHE performance and maintain third party accreditation and work effectively with certification body in order to preserve international standard accreditation
