1. Job Title: Safety Lead

Timika, 12 months

•  Working in Mining – International Project

•  Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or a related field.

•  10+ years of related experience in Construction Health and Safety.

•  Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; Skilled in following safety.

•  Experience with managing safety on heavy industrial construction projects.

•  Understanding of safety reporting requirements on large heavy industrial construction projects

•  Experience with mega projects (values exceeding US$ 1.0 billion), especially large mineral processing projects.

•  Prior EPCM experience preferred with field based safety management experience.

•  Experience in setting performance KPI’s and tracking on a day to day basis

•  Experience in field roles in all disciplines

•  Working as a team member (Client, EPCM & Contractors)

•  Bilingual required Bahasa / English.

2. Job Title: Safety Rep

Timika, 12 months

• Working in Mining – International Project

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, OR

• Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, OR

• Some post-secondary education and 10+ years of experience in health & safety or field construction plus 5+ years of health and safety experience in the construction industry, including three years in a supervisory capacity

• Fluency in English and Bahasa

• Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions

• Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written, including the ability to actively listen and to adapt behavior and communication style based upon the audience

• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions

• Skill in developing and implementing safety practices, and recognizing, controlling and/or eliminating hazards

3. Job Title: QA/QC Lead

Timika, 12 months

• Working in Mining – International Project

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in QAQC

• To supervise the operation of the QA/QC functions at project site by implementing the Project Quality Controls Plans and Procedures in accordance with the Company QC procedures, International standards and specific contract requirements.

• This will involve the construction of all roadways, bridges, railways, earthworks and any other civil works required to ensure the delivery of the product from the mine.

• 10 years civil inspection experience which shall contain as minimum 3 Years directly relating to supervision of construction activities in the contract scope of work in Mining.

• To lead the team of QC Civil Inspectors for monitoring the on‐going daily construction activities.

• Reviewing the construction method statements and making comments per project specifications, procedures & ITPs.

• Regular site visits for foreseeing the potential deficiencies based on his physical experience to share with construction crew and guidance to QC Inspectors.

• Coordination with Civil testing agencies / batching plants for in tine delivery of concretes and subsequent inspection & testing requirements. Ensuring the availability of QC Inspector during any operations.

• Imitating internal Log Book Entries/NCR’s to construction crew for effective implementation of project quality plan, ITP’s, written procedures, project specifications, IFC drawings etc.

• Coordination with Clients inspectors for getting the feedback for open log book entries and preparations of corrective actions to close those violations.

• Emphasizing on the control of documents and records by advising the document controllers, QC Inspectors.

• Conducting routine internal meetings with QC inspectors for further vigilance to the potential problems which must be tackled accordingly to avoid non‐conformities.

4. Job Title: Construction Manager

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in Construction

• Proven experience in underground mining operations, to be able to understand and control the whole mining process of development areas, use of explosives, materials and various mining equipment.

• Familiar with advanced technology and current underground mining methods and rapid development techniques.

• Understanding of UG dispatching systems.

• Familiar with underground mining equipment.

5. Job Title: Materials Handling /Warehouse Clerk

Timika, 12 months

• Education: Minimum High school degree.

• Language: Basic English.

• Preference: Local Timika hire

• To make sure all Materials are proper checked when received,

• Proper storage, proper record and report in daily basis for Receiving,

• Update Bin Locations,

• Issuing Materials,

• Issuing OSD reports if any,

• Maintain good stock inventory

• Store and handling materials according to Supplier recommendations

• to monitor and control Project Materials (Owner Purchased and Contractors Materials) from Portsite Jetty to PSPP laydown,

• to monitor and control Backloads containers, Backloads for Owners and Vendor Materials from PSPP laydown to Cargo Dock

• Maintain good housekeeping at store and Laydowns.

• Preparation to Close out the PSPP Projects

6. Job Title: Contract Lead

Timika, 12 months

• Working in Mining – International Project

• Qualified Indonesian lawyer with 5-10 years experience. 

• Must have meaningful experience with contract negotiation and drafting.

• Must have some experience with licensing and permitting for major construction projects (AMDAL, IMB, etc.).

• Bahasa Indonesia must be the candidates’ first language.

• Ability to read, write and speak English at the IELTS Band 7-9 is required.

• Must be able and willing to accurately translate legal documents from Bahasa Indonesia to English and vice versa. 

• Experience in meeting and negotiating with government agencies is a plus.

• Knowledge of licensing and permitting in the port sector is a plus.

• Must be able to assimilate and work as a member of a team.

7. Job Title: Support Services Coordinator

Timika, 12 months

• Coordinate the support services facilities such as accommodation, transportation, internet service, solid waste management with  and the contractors if required.

• Coordinate with  HR -Support the onboarding process  of the project’s team and project’s contractors , coordinate with the related  divisions the MCU, safety induction, accommodation booking, airport pick up and transportation ,Airfast booking if required .

• coordinate with  support services department the meals required for the project’s team at both staff and non-staff mess halls.

• coordinate the contractors and owner team site visits with  visitors division to ensure accommodation required and transportation from the airport to projects site are in order.

• oversees the owner camp rooms cleanliness, perform spot and physical checks to ensure the rooms cleanliness is up to the standard and report any issues related to rooms cleanliness to  support services department.

• it is required at times for the support services coordinator to meet the site visitors and new arrival at the airport, escort them to the safety induction center and to the UID center and finally to portsite.

• Coordinate and report any maintenance issues at the Owner team camp.

• Keep the support services Manager informed of issues and challenges that may rise to find suitable solutions

• Nature of work: Works on complex issues and implements solutions mostly through the determination of strategy and delegation to others in a group or functional area.

8. Job Title: Site Civil Engineer

•  Working in Mining – International Project

•  Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and 5 years of experience in engineering or related scientific field.

•  Knowledge of principles and practice of civil, geotechnical, water resources, water quality/treatment, and/or geological engineering

•  Demonstrate technical competence through engineering and/or operations experience in at least one of the following work areas: earthworks, structural design, concrete design, construction supervision, dams, process water balance and slurry transport.

•  Proficient in MS Office and other engineering tools (CAD, analytical, mapping)

•  Fluency in English

•  Broad knowledge of the principles and practices of civil engineering

•  Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions

•  Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written, including the ability to actively listen and to adapt behavior and communication style based upon the audience

•  Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions

9. Job Title: QS (Quantity Surveyor)

Timika, 12 months

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

• 5+ year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

• Proficiency in local tendering and estimation experience is strongly encourage to apply.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing multiple projects within tight timeline.

• Able to work independently with minimum guidance

• Building & Construction experience is added advantage

• Previous working experience as construction estimator for (5) years

• In-depth knowledge of project management

• Hands on experience with complex data research activities

• Good understanding of data analysis methods and KPIs

• Familiarity with computer programs such as like InEight or HCSS HeavyBid

• Good time-management skills

10. Job Title: Estimator/Scheduler

Timika, 12 months

• Working in Mining – International Project

• 10+ years’ experience in similar construction estimating, cost control, or management role with related functions plus thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts is required. 

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and execute corporate InEight Hard Dollar estimating software and provide all estimating and proposal deliverables for right-of-way (“ROW”) and Power Delivery projects with all types of contracts ranging from time and materials, unit price, and lump sum while providing technical and administrative direction to ensure division, group, and corporate objectives are met while developing and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.  Executes our Core Values and Priorities – Integrity, Safety, Quality, and Production to guide our business practices that ensures P&J is committed to a Zero Incident Philosophy of no harm to person, property, the environment, or our reputation.

• Knowledge of design, estimating, construction, finance, and management.

Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards and activities.   

• Accounting (math and record-keeping) to include the ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations as needed to examine construction operations including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Proficient in utilizing Google Earth, Esri ArcGIS, Bluebeam Revu, ShareFile, FTP Sites, and similar software; Esri ArcGIS Experience is Preferred.
