We are seeking for best candidates to fill the vacant position:

1. POSITION: AREA COORDINATOR PLANT

Department/Project : Commissioning / Tangguh Onshore

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Seniority  : Expert

Working Experiences : More than 15 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract

Work location  : Papua

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Expert in Oil & Gas field

• Minimum around 15 years of experience

• Willing to work in remote area

• Good command in English

• Construction sequences and planning. Knowledge of construction sequences for relevant disciplines. Knowledge of activities weight (standard man-hours, expected man-hours) and applicable efficiency (day inches per day, thumbs per day, cube meters per day). Ability to execute construction sequences planning, including the scheduling of the activities, in order to ensure the achievement of mechanical completion in respect of the schedule and the final handover. Ability to implement the right staffing for construction activities and sequences for all relevant disciplines

• Construction standards and codes. Knowledge of all the main international construction standards, codes and regulations. Ability to interpret them and to supervise their application.

• Quantity accounting and control. Knowledge of measurement methodologies and material quantities, in order to control the project progress and related costs. Knowledge of methodologies to evaluate the activities efficiency. Ability to organise and evaluate the breakdown of project quantities and to organize and manage interfaces with engineering quantities. Knowledge of the accounts control submitted by subcontractors and ability to review them. Ability to apply discipline price lists, progress measurement and accountancy.

• Construction activities execution. Understanding of how a project execution and construction plan in framed. Ability to interpret and understand construction plans. Ability to execute the construction plan.

• Onshore Lifting methodologies and ops.. Knowledge of various types of lifting methodologies, including suitability of each methods to specific operational needs. Knowledge of risks associated with lifting and associated mitigation techniques. Capability to read and interpret lifting technical project documents such as lifting plans and to identify hazard and risks related to lifting operations (mandatory periodical control, lifting plan, etc.).

• Contract Management Commercial Process (contract evaluation, negotiation and proposal with regards to partners, suppliers and customers) Knowledge of the process of preparing, evaluating, negotiating and proposing contractual documentation concerning partners, suppliers and customers.

• Contract Management Execution (claim and change management with regards to partners, suppliers and customers). Knowledge of contracts schemes and contractual terms and ability to analyse the main contractual conditions Knowledge of the process of claim and change management with regards to contracts with partners, suppliers and customers. Capability to address rights and responsibilities in a legal perspective and to highlighting pros and cons in relation to a certain variation, dispute or claim, distinguishing the commercial and legal constraints.

• Quality control activities. Knowledge of quality control principles and responsibilities of roles involved. Capability to apply Quality Control Plans.

• Experience in onshore brownfield oil & gas projects (LNG preferred)

• Experience in piping / construction activities (onshore)

• Experience in managing SBC employees and direct hire employees

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

• Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected.

• Ensure the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements

• Ensure the set-up of the time schedule, adhering to the time frame allocated to the multidisciplinary specific scope of work.

• Optimize the construction sequences operating directly on field, in order to meet the production needs in more efficient manners based on the progress of the work in the plant area.

• Manage multidisciplinary interfaces on field, preventing and resolving interferences and clashes.

• Ensure that the activities are carried out within the planned time and costs, coordinating directly on field the construction team and subcontractors accordingly and intervening with corrective actions in case of deviations or difficulties.

• Ensure the information gathering regarding the progress of the work, indicating the causes of deviations between the program and the work carried out and propose solutions and/or request instructions to overcome these problems. Support the preparation of the work progress reports.

• Support the mobilization and demobilization of the assigned resources, in accordance with the project planned time frame and project needs.

• Provide the construction team and the subcontractors with the guidelines for the execution of the works and monitor the adequacy of manpower and equipment to face the construction activities.

• Give technical support to project management to evaluate any variation requests in the assigned plant area.

• Ensure the achievement of the established construction milestones, including the mechanical completion objectives, in the assigned area.

• Support the management of the interfaces with the Client for all the matters relevant to construction activities.

• Support the management of interfaces with engineering departments for drawings and materials availability.

• Ensure the achievement of the MC certificate according to priority and systemization done by commissioning, being responsible for certification and punch list clearance.

• Coordinate with Subcontractors for the preparation and verification of monthly work progress.

• Ensure the management of construction work-front to support Subcontractors and Direct Hiring manpower.

• Set objectives, measurable targets and clear responsibilities to all Direct Hiring Staff involved in the Project.
