SITE MANAGER (CODE: MGT – SM)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure company SHE Standards, Systems and Procedures are implemented and complied within applicable areas of control. Ensure that quality safety plans for employees are in place and aligned with mine safety systems and procedures.

• To effectively manage all site personnel under the Site Manager’s responsibility including direct and indirect reports.

• To ensure that the parameters set by the Customer Performance Contract (KPIs) and AEL is continuously measured and monitored with the objective of long-term customer relationship and sustainability.

• To ensure that customer needs are satisfied by the deployment of safe, cost effective and satisfactory operations, and ensure that the appropriate standards, systems and procedures are consistently implemented.

• To efficiently and effectively manage equipment (fixed & mobile) performance and operating costs.

• To seek and identify opportunities to maximize production and take advantage of expansion opportunities where appropriate with the existing customer.

• Keep up-to-date with new developments and provide assistance with the introduction and implementation of new improvement or value add opportunities.

• Manage and control fixed and operating costs within the agreed budget.

• Responsible for the training and development of subordinates and relevant customer personnel. Ensure that the customer develops a thorough understanding of explosives products and the maintenance and operation of site assets.

• Responsible for the site implementation of the AECI management system.

• Proactively communicates with internal related functional management resources for as required support and advice.

• Attend and contribute to the Quarterly BRAD Meetings with the customer when required.

• Assist the Area Manager in developing the BRAD Meeting presentations on AEL site safety and production performances.

• Assigned as the PJO (Penanggung Jawab Operasional) site.

• Assigned as Acting Area Manager when required.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the management of site operations.

• Good communication skills, in both English and Bahasa Indonesia as the incumbent is required to communicate to senior management level.

• Technical knowledge in explosive business.

• Computer literacy (word, excel, power point, outlook, etc).

• Hold Blaster Competency (KJL) and able to obtain Kartu Ijin Meledakkan (KIM).

• Hold valid Pengawas Operasional Pratama (POP) to obtain Pengawas  Operasional Madya (POM) certification.

SITE SUPERINTENDENT (CODE: FLD-SUPT)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Work safely and responsibly in all tasks, perform a Take 5 risk assessment when performing any new or abnormal task, and ensure that all work colleagues are not exposed to any unsafe act or condition.

• To oversee PLTS/DTH/ROG activities in blast location and facilitate continues improvement to the daily operation.

• Ensure procedures remain up-to-date for all tasks and activities performed within his/her area or areas of responsibility and that all activities are preformed safely and in accordance with AEL policies and government legislation.

• Develop procedures for new tasks and activities before the task or activities are implemented.

• Actively engage with customer site management to establish effective communication processes for managing daily blasting activities.  This includes pre-planning of blast schedules and locations together with weekly and monthly forecasts that will assist the incumbent in effectively managing day to day operations and schedules.

• Actively engage with the customer to review and develop procedures/standards related to daily activities and implementing the best practices identified, this includes procedures for handling explosives, handling and treatment of misfires, delivering and control of explosives, security of explosives and blasting procedures.

• Obtain blast design one day prior to blasting from customer to verify it conformance with actual condition and/or gain approval from customer for any changes to the design.

• Conduct a daily meeting with customer to confirmed blast location and its status, blast design and production target and cascade to other supervisors, blasters, MMU operator, Manufacturing superintendent, site manager.

• Management of effective and efficient day-to-day blasting activity requirements. Coordinates and delegates works to team member before proceeding.

• Allocate the resources (MMU, bomb box, LV, Blasting Machines, personnel, radio communication) according to client production request.

• Develop and maintain customer relations with the early identification of changing customer needs and communication of such needs to the Site Managers.

• The incumbent must be aware of the account strategy and is expected to manage the plant and MMU accordingly.

• Auditing and monitoring blasting activities (PLTS/DTH/ROG) to facilitate continues improvement to the daily operation.

• Conduct regular audits on all activities within his/her area of responsibility to ensure correct application of procedures and standards and to identify areas of improvement.

• Provide on bench assistance, as required.

The Requirements:

• Education level and experiences :

Bachelor degree in mining with 6 years’ experience in mining explosive industry, Diploma in mining with minimum with 9 years in mining explosive industry, senior high school with minimum 13 years’ experience in mining explosive industry.

• Good communication skills as the incumbent are required.

• Must Held a General Driving License (SIM A).

• Hold a certificate of KJL 2 is must.

• Hold valid POP certification.

• Technical knowledge (Bulk explosive products, accessories type and application).

• Computer literate.

TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER (CODE: TSE)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Relevant knowledge of products and applications.

• Able to design general production blast designs.

• Understands the suitability and applicability of data collection and blast monitoring techniques.

• Competent use of relevant blasting models.

• Thorough understanding of mining techniques.

• Regularly performs cost analysis of drill & blast function.

• Understands influence of D & B costs on mining costs.

• Able to handle blasting related investigations and seeks assistance where necessary, and seeks approval for implementing solutions.

• Involved in field trialing of new products.

SHE & QUALITY SUPERVISOR (CODE: SHE SUPV)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Key Responsibilities:

Operational

• Support site management in developing annual site specific Objective, Target and Program (OTP) for SHE.

• Facilitate Risk Assessment and Environment Aspect & Impact for site operational.

• Provide site with any update related with safety info or issue from AEL Mining Services, client, industry and government.

• Monitoring the achievement of site SHE Individual accountability in weekly basis and provide update to site management.

• To maintain site SHE record and provide site with SHE statistic for SHE performance improvement.

• Ensure SHE meeting is conducted regularly (Monthly SHE Meeting, daily TBT, SHE Committee meeting, Green area Meeting).

• Provide regular Safety campaign to workforce.

• Inspect all safety equipment regularly.

• To maintain certificate validation of safety equipment, license and unit.

• Ensure the implementation of close loop UOR at site (All unusual occurrence is reported with UOR, electronic UOR is submitted, All UOR that require investigation to be investigated, recommendation from investigation is closed out).

• Determine root cause of any incident by investigating the accident and determine the correct preventive and corrective action in order to prevent the reoccurrence.

• Work together with site management to prepare for OPEX audit particularly for Safety and Environment pillar.

• Ensure the compliance of internal audit schedule of AEL Indonesia.

• Apply On Time In Full (OTIF) in SHE Reporting.

• To ensure all employees obtain training on Safety, Health and Environmental as required in Training Gap Analysis (TGA).

• Ensure all employees carry out medical checkup (MCU) as per schedule, all findings from MCU to be followed up and investigated.

• Develop an accurate annual forecast for PPE, Monitor the PPE consumption and ensure the PPE usage meet with budget.

• Coordinate with site Local Document Controller (LDC) and site management to ensure Site action data base (SIP/LCAS/CPAS) are updated accordingly.

• Carry out nitrate test regularly at area that has exposure with nitrate storage or usage.

Client Liaison

• Meet client standard on Safety, Health, and Environment.

• Liaise with client, particularly with their SHE Department, to build understanding about AEL SHE System and ensure compliance with client SHE standard.

• Ensure Safety emergency drill and Environment emergency drill to be conducted at site once per year as a minimum.

The Requirements:

• D3 in Safety with minimum 3 years of experiences, or Bachelor Degree majoring in engineering, environment or public health with 2 years related experience.

• Driving License A

• Able to speak and written in English

• Technical knowledge

• Computer literacy

• In possession of POP certificate and Occupational Health and Safety professional certificate (AK3 Umum)

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (CODE: MTC SUPV)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage site spare parts to agreed levels.

• Co-ordinate all work being carried out on the site by own and external resources.

• Plan work to be executed in conjunction with the process.

• Coach maintenance team members to ensure appropriate levels of competency.

• Provide technical backup to the maintenance team

• Ensure that engineering data and records are accurate and current

• Ensure that Training Gap Analysis (TGA) for self and team members are developed and signed off by end of January of each year.

• In conjunction with relevant site management (site supervisor/superintendent/ manager), conduct Planned Job Observation (PJO) to employees following their successful completion of training courses based on their area of expertise. The PJO must refer to the relevant practical assessment checklist.

• Proactively support the Training Department with regard to developing plans to deliver and conduct assessments for the sites based on area of expertise as indicated in the Mentor Appointment Letter.

The Requirements:

• Technical High School  with minimum 11 years of experience, or D3 degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 3 years in light truck, such as Mercedes Benz, Volvo, MAN, Scania, or Iveco trucks

• Hold A driving license (SIM A) but B2 General Driving License (SIM B2) is preferred

• Technical knowledge, including on electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic  systems

.

BLASTER 4 (CODE: BLST 4)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites (Supervisor level)

Key Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities listed in this section apply to the incumbent who is the accountable person for these activities however he/she may physically be required to carry out these tasks or he/she may also supervise these tasks being carried out within his/her area of responsibility.  The incumbent remains accountable either way.

• Work safely and responsibly in all tasks, perform a Take 5 risk assessment when performing any new or abnormal task, and ensure that all work colleagues are not exposed to any unsafe act or condition.

• Learn and know all site procedures and standards related to all explosives/charging/blasting activities on the site that he is employed at. 

• Prepare blast site for blasting activities as per site procedures and standards.

• Periodically may be required to act as location keeper if there are more than one blast locations.  The “Blaster 4” may be appointed as a “Blaster on duty” on more than one location (As per site specific procedure).

• Obtain and understand the blast plan per blast location that indicates the blast design and tie up.

• Conduct a risk assessment on every blast location assigned to him/her and identify risk associated with on bench activities.

• Report and give consultative advice to client or supervisor to treat anomalies in accordance with specified requirements (e.g.: hot holes).

• Record all deviations between the actual on bench blast design compared to the planned blast design on the blast plan and report any blast design deviations to the supervisor/customer.

• The incumbent may be required to self asses and change the blast design due to variations identified in 3.4.6.  These changes must be signed off by the customer/supervisor.

• Inspect and make sure tools, material and equipment required in the PLTS/DTH/ROG activities are in good working order and fit for purpose.

• Supervise site clean-up operations.

• Sign in and isolating blast area in accordance with procedures and blast plan

• Ensure the correct storing and transporting of explosives and accessories in accordance with site procedures/standards and applicable legislation within the areas assigned to him/her.

• Identify and calculate the amount of explosives and accessories to be used per blast location and communicate the information to the relevant personnel who are responsible for delivering the explosives and accessories to the blast location.

• Supervise Accessories placement, handling and application within the blast area in accordance with procedures and applicable legislation.

• Carry out priming activities in accordance with procedures and applicable legislation

• Conduct PJO and/or assessment of quality of priming activity on the blast location.

• Supervise bulk explosives charging activities and ensure that charging is done in accordance with site procedures/standards and applicable legislation

• Supervise stemming activities to ensure compliance with site procedures/standards and applicable legislation.

• Carry out blast Tie Up Activities as per the blast design and must have be capable of correcting the blast tie up design if the actual blast hole positions deviate from the planned blast design.

• Conduct a final on bench Inspection of the blast area to ensure all activities have been correctly carried out according to standard.

• Prepare the blast for initiation.  (Using Nonel/electronic/electric initiating systems)

• Ensure that a blast is safe to initiate and carry our blast initiation as per site procedures and applicable legislation.

• Conduct a thorough inspection at all blasted locations under his/her responsibility to identify any potential risks or explosives that have failed to detonate as required in the post blast check.

• Treat misfires according to site procedures and applicable legislation

• Prepare and complete all daily blast reports.

• Drive LV and transport personnel on site as per site standards and rules.

• Support and assist with any abnormal site activity should this become necessary in any emergency situation.

• Required to tie up a blast with non-electric and electronic initiating systems.

The Requirements:

• Education level: Diploma in mining with minimum 3 years of experience as shotfirer, or Senior high school with minimum 7 years of experience as shotfirer.

• Have an experience working in an explosive company

• Good communication skills.

• Must be the holder of a General Driving License, “A” Driving License.

• Certificate of KJL 2 is must.

• Hold KIM is a must.

• Hold valid POP certification.

• Technical knowledge (blast design, bulk explosive product and blast accessories)

• Computer literate.

• Have a good understanding of explosives products and initiating systems including non-electric and electronic systems

BLASTER 3 / SHOTFIRER (CODE: BLST 3)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Tanggung Jawab Utama:

• Menyimpan dan mengangkut bahan peledak dan aksesoris

• Bekerja secara aman dan bertanggung jawab dalam semua tugas

• Menyampaikan informasi mengenai volume dan jadwal pengiriman kepada personil site

• Menyampaikan informasi kepada Magazine Keeper mengenai jumlah dan jenis bahan peledak/aksesoris yang akan digunakan

• Memastikan LV Bomb Box layak untuk digunakan dengan cara melaksanakan pengecekan dan pemeriksaan wajib sesuai dengan prosedur dan peraturan perundangan yang berlaku di site

• Melakukan pemeriksaan pada pemisahan Bomb Box dari aksesoris dan bahan peledak untuk mencegah terjadinya ledakan yang tidak disengaja

• Memastikan semua bahan peledak/aksesori ditangani dengan hati-hati/diangkut dan dikemas sesuai dengan prosedur/standar untuk mencegah terjadinya kerusakan atau ledakan yang tidak disengaja

• Mengoperasikan LV Bomb Box secara aman sesuai dengan prosedur.

• Mendistribusikan jumlah aksesoris peledakan yang benar ke setiap lokasi peledakan sesuai dengan perencanaan

• Pemegang jabatan mungkin harus bertindak di posisi lain atau dapat ditunjuk sebagai “Blaster on Duty” apabila diperlukan

• Pemegang jabatan bertanggung jawab atas keamanan bahan peledak yang diterima dan yang dikeluarkan

• Mencatat dan menyimpan/menjaga semua dokumen penerimaan dan pengeluaran bahan peledak dan memastikan pencatatan semua bahan peledak/aksesoris dilakukan setiap hari

• Melaksanakan atau mengawasi kegiatan priming, stemming, tie up, final check sesuai dengan prosedur/standar/aturan perundangan yang berlaku di site

• Membentangkan, menyiapkan dan menyambungkan LIL untuk kegiatan peledakan sesuai dengan prosedur/standar/aturan perundangan yang berlaku di site

• Membersihkan lokasi peledakan dari LIL bekas pasca ledakan dan mengirimkan ke lokasi pembuangan sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku di site

• Melaksanakan atau membantu inspeksi pasca ledakan sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku di site

• Melakukan penanganan misfire secara aman sesuai dengan prosedur/standar/aturan perundangan yang berlaku di site

• Mengamankan dan menangani bahan peledak yang ditemukan selama penggalian sesuai dengan prosedur/standar/aturan perundangan yang berlaku di site

• Melakukan kegiatan tie up dengan sistem inisiasi elektronik dan non-elektronik

Persyaratan:

• Diploma jurusan pertambangan dengan minimum pengalaman 3 tahun sebagai shotfirer, atau Sekolah Menengah Umum dengan minimum pengalaman 7 tahun sebagai shotfirer

• Memiliki pengalaman bekerja di perusahaan peledakan

• Memiliki keterampilan komunikasi yang baik

• Memiliki SIM A

• Wajib memiliki sertifikat KJL II dan atau KPP Madya

• Memiliki KIM

• Pengetahuan teknis (desain peledakan, produk explosive/bahan peledak curah, dan aksesoris peledakan)

• Memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang produk bahan peledak dan sistem inisiasi elektronik maupun non-elektronik.

PLANT OPERATOR (CODE: PLANT OPR)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Tanggung Jawab Utama:

• Ketepatan dan ketelitian dalam melengkapi lembar-lembar pencatatan.

• Menjaga kebersihan  dalam semua kegiatan operasional.

• Memuat dan membongkar bahan baku yang digunakan di tempat pengolahan.

• Pengaturan keluar masuk  bahan mentah dan produk  berdasarkan  First-In-First-Out (yang pertama masuk, juga pertama keluar).

• Memastikan semua pengiriman  produk secara  OTIF (On Time in Full = tepat waktu secara utuh).

• Meniadakan  pengulangan pekerjaan atau pemborosan produksi yang tidak perlu.

Persyaratan:

• Sekolah Menengah Atas dengan minimal 6 tahun pengalaman, atau D3 dengan  minimal 3 tahun pengalaman

• Memiliki SIO Forklift dan Boiler

• Pemegang sertifikat Kompetensi Juru Ledak 2 (KJL2) dan atau KPP Madya

• Mempunyai SIM B2

MECHANIC / ELECTRIAN (CODE: MTC -MEC)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Tanggung Jawab Utama:

Mechanic

• Menyediakan dukungan dan keahlian dalam hal maintenance dan pengoperasian alat berat

• Teknologi manufacturing

• Melaksanakan inspeksi dan perbaikan mekanis yang diperlukan untuk fixed plant dan charging unit.

• Memonitor dan memeriksa standar pekerjaaan yang dilakukan oleh kontraktor serta memberikan masukan kepada atasan langsung

Electrician

• Memastikan availability peralatan listrik setiap saat dengan melakukan perbaikan terhadap kerusakan elektrik

• Memastikan semua titik elektrik aman bagi para karyawan pengguna dengan menerapkan Standar Keselamatan Perusahaan yang sesuai.

• Memastikan availability daya listrik dengan segera menangani kerusakan kelistrikan.

• Bekerja sesuai Standar Perusahaan.

• Melaksanakan maintenance terhadap instrumen dan pebraikan semua peralatan.

Persyaratan:

• Minimum 21 tahun

• SMK jurusan Otomotif & Elektrik dengan pengalaman minimum 3 tahun atau D3 dengan pengalaman minimum 1 tahun

• Diutamakan yang memiliki SIM B2

• Pengetahuan teknis, termasuk sistem pneumatik dan hidrolik

MMU OPERATOR / ANFO TRUCK OPERATOR (CODE: MMU / ANFO OPR)

To be based at Kalimantan Sites

Tanggung Jawab Utama:

• Mempersiapkan MMU/ANFO truck untuk operasi harian sesuai prosedur dan standar yang berlaku di site

• Bertanggung jawab untuk mengoperasikan MMU/ANFO truck dengan aman dalam kegiatan mengemudi, pemuatan (loading), pengisian (charging) dan re-filling sesuai prosedur dan standar yang berlaku di site

• Bertanggung jawab untuk memastikan MMU/ANFO truck dirawat dengan benar serta melakukan pemeliharaan rutin dan teratur agar MMU/ANFO truck tetap berada dalam kondisi yang baik

• Bertanggung jawab untuk memastikan kuantitas dan kualitas produk yang dikirim berada dalam spesifikasi kualitas yang disyaratkan sesuai dengan permintaan site/pelanggan

• Bertanggung jawab untuk memastikan kalibrasi MMU/ANFO truck dilakukan sesuai prosedur dan kalibrasi dilakukan pada interval sesuai dengan yang ditentukan oleh pelanggan/ manajemen site

• Mencatat volume bahan peledak curah yang dipompa sesuai dengan prosedur

• Mematuhi semua tindakan pencegahan untuk keamanan agar risiko paparan bahan kimia dapat dikurangi

• Melaporkan segala penyimpangan atau kondisi tidak aman kepada Supervisor yang bertugas

• Melakukan perbaikan kecil pada MMU/ANFO truck termasuk membantu mekanik site untuk melakukan perbaikan seperti mengganti selang hidrolik, membersihkan penyumbatan dalam proses, mengeluarkan dan mengganti komponen

• Melakukan troubleshooting pada MMU/ANFO truck untuk mengidentifikasi dan melaporkan cacat/kerusakan ke tim Engineering/Maintenance.

• Tingkat pendidikan: Sekolah Menengah Atas

• Mempunyai pengalaman minimum 5 tahun sebagai operator truck ukuran medium, Scania, MAN atau Volvo

• Familiar dengan proses mobile manufacturing pada industri peledakan

• Memiliki SIM B2 untuk memperoleh Kimper MMU
