The Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mining area covers an area of 30 km² which is under the sixth generation Contract of Work (COW) with a total area of 1,303 km². The Martabe Gold Mine is located on the west side of the island of Sumatra, Batang Toru Sub-district, North Sumatra Province.
The Martabe Gold Mine began full production on 24 July 2012 and has a resource base as of 30 June 2022, of 6.5 million oz of gold and 64 million oz of silver. The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is more than 7 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver per year.
PT Agincourt Resources involves more than 3,000 employees and contractors, around 99% of whom are Indonesian citizens, and more than 70% are from local villages.
PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) holds 95% shares of PT Agincourt Resources. PTDTN is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. with 60% share ownership and PT Pamapersada Nusantara with 40% share ownership, as well as part of PT Astra International Tbk business group. A total of 5% of PT Agincourt Resources' shares are owned by South Tapanuli District Government and North Sumatra Provincial Government.
To strengthen the existing Facility & Services team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
SCHEDULER – CAMP ELECTRICAL (FS 2305036)
This position will be based at Martabe Site in Facility & Services Department, and reports directly to Supervisor – Building Electrical.
The role of the Scheduler – Camp Electrical is :
• Ensure that all Building Electrical within Martabe Facilities and Services are maintained in a safe and reliable condition.
• Conduct Building Electrical repairs and maintenance as required to ensure that operational needs are met.
• Provide planning services for the effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities required to maintain the optimal levels of site Building Electrical availability and performance.
• Ensure effective communication is maintained between the Planning and Building Electrical supervisory team with regard to maintenance activities for Building electrical with clear handovers between planners, Building Electrical supervisory changes, and R&R cycles to minimize interruption to PTAR’s business from the downtime.
• Liaise with contractors, as required, for any external services and provide scopes of work for such services in line with PTAR policies, (does not include authorization of contracts).
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure the availability of parts and components.
• Monitor contractors for competitiveness, poor workmanship, and achieving planned schedule.
• Prepare of work plans for Building Electrical within the Facilities and Services in consultation with Supervisor, camp maintenance team, and camp services departments to ensure F&S objectives are achieved.
• Prepare work packages for each work order, planned or breakdown comprising:
- Work Specifications and Scopes of Work.
- Inspection and Test criteria.
- Safety notes.
- Resources – parts (materials internal and external supply), manpower
- Execution schedules.
- Cost and duration estimation.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities and maintenance improvement projects in Martabe site Building Electrical are well planned, scheduled and organized so that the works are able to progress in a safe, environmentally responsible, efficient, cost effective and repeatable manner.
• In conjunction with Supervisor Building Electrical review the weekly maintenance plans for Building Electrical in conjunction with the area owners to prioritize maintenance, replacements plant, and internal and external resource needs
• Coordinate with Camp Services in developing Job schedule including organizing all the resources, vendor, manpower, material, consumables and equipment to perform the maintenance task or project during preparation, execution and completion of regular maintenance, and projects works.
• Ensure that the daily and overall weekly work plans for the maintenance of building electrical are safely executed with a high level of compliance to the work plans and minimal interruption to production and all safety and rework incidents are reported.
• Ensure PRONTO is fully utilized as the site CMMS with all maintenance work or breakdowns initiated through the Work Orders (WO) system, all work orders are closed promptly, and job history and details are collected.
• Maintain the integrity of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (incorporating the equipment register) and the professional/technical library.
• Part manuals, maintenance manuals, and OEM information are stored correctly.
• Identify with stores to continually establish materials and spare leveling strategies.
• Component major repair or replacement historical data is properly traced through the database.
• Assist the Building Electrical Supervisor and camp maintenance team with the provision, review, and analysis of KPI reports, budget reports, and other relevant information for Building electrical .
• Contribute to reports or the gathering of information as specified for the effective communication required for the role or allocated to the role.
• Identify areas for building electrical improvement in conjunction with the PTAR camp services , maintenance contractors, and suppliers to optimize the availability and performance of the F&S assets
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Minimum Diploma Degree Electrical Engineering with experience in maintenance planning role in Fixed Plant operations.
2. 5 years or more in maintenance planning or maintenance supervisory role in Building electrical operations.
3. High level understanding of CMMS systems preferably with Pronto experience.
4. Understanding Enterprise Resources Planning application (Pronto, SAP, Ellipse, etc).
5. Possess a valid recognized Electrical Safety license from KEMNAKER RI (Sertifikat Ahli K3 Listrik dari Kemnaker RI)
6. Ability to organise plan and schedule using CMMS
7. Knowledge of building electrical equipment, tools and materials used in the mining industry.
8. Ability to estimate the amounts of labour, materials, and equipment required for jobs.
9. Ability to prepare reports and maintain records.
10. Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Outlook.
11. Exposure to Pronto System or other CMMS
12. Advance level Microsoft Project
13. Having knowledge and experience of Building Electrical
14. Good understanding and experience operating Microsoft Project.
15. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team and contribute to a harmonious working environment.
16. Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to maintain direction and achieve work objectives with minimal supervision.
17. Can work under pressure with tight deadlines.
18. Demonstrate good communication skills among peers.
ELECTRICIAN (FS 2305035)
This position will be based at Martabe Site in Facility & Services Department, and reports directly to Supervisor – Building Electrical.
The role of the Electrician is to provide ‘hands-on’ support for the Electrical / Instrumentation (BUILDING ELECTRICAL ) Supervisors, so as to ensure that the maintenance, modifications, servicing and installation activities carried out by the BUILDING ELECTRICAL maintenance team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Ancillaries Plants and associated infrastructure’s electrical & instrumentation plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to. Close interaction with your peers in the Facilities & Services teams as well as Maintenance Planning and Warehouse personnel will be crucial to the overall success of your role.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Graduated from Polytechnic Technical training institute or approved Apprenticeship with Electrical qualifications.
2. Experience in similar Electrical Tradesperson positions within the mining, oil & gas or similar heavy industrial environment.
3. A good understanding of world class mining standards and associated safety standards (ANZS, BS, IEC & ASTM)
4. Possess a valid recognized Electrical Safety license from KEMNAKER RI (Sertifikat Ahli K3 Listrik dari Kemnaker RI)
5. Experience with electrical & instrumentation maintenance, problem-solving and inspection processes.
6. Experience with electrical & instrumentation installation methods and practices.
7. Good knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry.
8. Ability to understand and efficiently carry out written and oral instructions.
9. Ability to interpret electrical schematic & single line drawings
10. HV switching operations.
11. Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
12. Ability to demonstrate ‘Safe Working Procedures’ to subordinates/contractor.
13. Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Internet
14. Reasonable verbal English language communication skills
15. The ability to act alone in a safe, professional and workman like manner, in a team environment.
16. Pays a high level of attention to standard and detail.
17. Be self motivated and pro-active with a positive attitude.
