1. Position: Occupational Health and Safety Analyst

Work Location: Hu’u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara

The position is a twelve-month contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.

Purpose of the Role:

Facilitates the implementation of PT Sumbawa Timur Mining (STM) occupational health safety (OHS) management systems and other applicable safety rules & regulation on PT STM operation areas. Executes the work activates according to OHS (Occupational Health Safety) Task Management Plan at the project site.

Accountabilities:

• Facilitates the implementation of PT STM HSR management system and Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Pertambangan (SMKP), and auditing process associated with the applicable safety management system, including develops action plans in conjunction with stakeholders to address deficiencies identified during the audit process.

• Facilitates the compliance of companies and other applicable safety rules & standards are fulfilled during work execution within company’s premises.

• Facilitates risk assessments for the Hu’u Project (project-wide and task-specific, as required) with an emphasis on outlining practical controls that will reduce the impact, frequency and severity of risks.

• Execute work activity programs according to the projects Occupational Health Safety (OHS) Task Management Plan

• Assist the contractor safety pre-qualifications and inspections prior to mobilization to site to ensure compliance with STM’s minimum requirements and operational standards.

• Undertake investigations of unplanned events (Accidents & Incidents) or significant near-misses and report the finding of investigations to relevant stakeholders.

• Analyze incident reports to identify causal factors and share the key findings with staff members and contractors to heighten the knowledge and awareness of personnel in the hope that major accidents occurring in the workplace may be avoided.

• Facilitates safety meetings, communications, trainings, and campaigns at the workplace.

• Undertake regular site visits, inspections and observations of operational sites and work areas to identify opportunities for improvement, corrective actions and to work with contractors to facilitate improvements.

• Should operational activities / demands change, perform other roles, work duties, activities and/or tasks, outside your normal JD and duties, as requested by your immediate Supervisor and/or management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• 4 - 6 years’ experience in similar role.

• Mandatory Certification: POP Mining (Pengawas Operational Pratama) / Operational Supervisory, Ahli K3 Umum / Occupational Health & Safety Expert, Incident Investigation, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Train of Trainer (TOT), Safety Management System.

• Preferred Certification: Safety Auditor, SMKP, and other Safety Management System Auditor.

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient with English both verbal and written.

• Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately.

• Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with each function and other department heads.

• Good leadership, Creative thinking skills, and ability to solve problems.

2. Position: Field Geotech Engineer

Work Location: Hu’u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara

The position is a twelve-month contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.

Purpose of the Role:

Conduct Field Assessments on slope stability, routine monitoring, and inspection. Provide recommendations for any potential geotechnical hazard and develop field geotechnical program.

Accountabilities:

• Responsible to do a routine inspection of the drill site location, exploration road access and all facilities related to all potential geotechnical hazards.

• Provide planning and controlling support for all projects, including variation reporting and monitoring of milestone progress.

• Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring.

• Perform technical tenders (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements related to the geotechnical issue.

• Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering, Geology, or Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years relevant/similar capacity as Field Geotech Engineer in mining project, leading a small team for geotechnical fieldwork.

• Technically strong in geotechnical (Monitoring Geotechnical Drilling, sampling, laboratory test, DCPT test, DCP Test, Monitoring system).

• IT knowledge & skills including Distribution Information and Management systems, e-mail, word processing & spreadsheet programs, Knowledge in the use of MS Excel & PowerPoint, Geotechnical Software such as Slide, RS2 and Rock fall is a must.

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient with English both verbal and written.

3. Position: Forestry Advisor

Work Location: Hu’u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara

The position is a twelve-month contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.

Purpose of the Role:

Forestry Advisor have primary function is to support the Forestry Leader (Focal Point) in handling the fulfillment of forestry obligations of Hu'u Project, and to assist the forestry staff to organize field progress activities in maintaining good forestry governance. Independently supervise all contractor activity in the field and implement programs and ensure the effective use of resources to meet the current forest management objectives also meet government expectations to ensure the sustainability of permit granting of PPKH for PT Sumbawa Timur Mining.

Accountabilities:

• Prepare document application for the PPKH (Borrow to Use Forest Permit).

• Regularly advise the exploration project teams on forestry protection and management measures.

• Assist Forestry Leader undertake audits and/or inspections at operational sites to ensure that forest permit compliance conditions are implemented effectively and in compliance with Indonesian legislative requirements.

• Responsible to the measurement of logs, uploading of the records to the SIPPUH and obtaining the Legality Wood Document (“SKSHHK”)

• Responsible to monitoring the planting activity of the watershed rehabilitation/revegetation following technical guidance document/forestry regulations).

• Prepare the forestry semester report.

• Responsible to Assist annual monitoring by related forestry agencies related to the fulfilment of the borrow and use permit’s obligations.

• Responsible to maintain good relations with forest users and related stakeholders.

• Liaise with the related Forestry Agencies in Regency and Provincial Level, Forest users, community and other relevant stakeholders for the forestry permitting.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience handling/supervising forestry activities, forestry reporting, rehabilitation and forestry studies/surveys on major mining, infrastructure, or energy projects.

• Experience in delivering rehabilitation programs and coordinating field teams.

• A sound technical knowledge and understanding of forest ecology and habitats in Indonesia (and preferably NTB Province).

• Experience working on major extractive industry projects in Indonesia.

• Knowledge of Indonesian forestry legislation.

• Current or past certification as a GANIS-accredited forestry professional.

4. Position: Stakeholder Relations Analyst

Work Location: Hu’u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara

The position is a twelve-months contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.

Purpose of the Role:

Develop strategy, monitoring and implementing stakeholder engagement strategy and partnering models, developing and elevating strategic partnerships, effective communication and clear messaging to internal and external stakeholders, driving fundraising initiatives and supporting programmatic work around stakeholder engagement are central to this role.

Accountabilities:

• Consolidate and review CSIP documents, routing, problem solving and deploy improvement strategy.

• Liaise with communities, traditional leaders, local authorities, NGOs, INGOs, and other relevant stakeholders to gather information that will support Hu'u Project using interviews, meetings, community mapping and other participatory approaches.

• Ensure that community engagement, socialization and consultation activities occur in accordance with project plans and strategies.

• Ensure that all reports are completed to a high standard and that all data is accurate and well-presented.

• Manage the implementation of all community relations plans, procedures and reporting (e.g. grievance mechanisms, etc.)

• Support the implementation of action plans; coordinate timely feedback and implementation of multiple tasks and priorities; adhere to timelines and budgets.

• Support the preparation and implementation of community development programs and initiatives as part of the Hu’u Project.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, connection, empowerment, authenticity and positive change - to build consensus and influence support for STM Project throughout the organization.

• Responds to inquiries from community members and other interested parties.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social science, sociology, economics, community development or related discipline.

• More than 3 years in experience dealing with extractive industry external/ community relations or similar.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good English skills (verbal & written) essential.

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive or controversial subjects with tact, kindness, and professionalism.

• Previous experience of using participatory techniques to gather information in at-risk communities.

• Ability to record information accurately and clearly.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of people.

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage with an audience.

• Knowledge of land acquisition process, certification activities and associated government regulation would be viewed favorably.

• Experience in gathering information and analyzing findings in relation to stakeholders and interest groups.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.

5. Position: Experienced Security Advisor

Work Location: Hu’u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara

The position is a twelve-month contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.

Purpose of the Role:

Implements the company Security policy, Security Management Plan and ensures consistently high physical Security standards and disciplined procedures to protect company personnel and assets. Effectively resolves challenging Security issues and communicates effectively to the workforce, Management, and community deliberate resolution strategies.

Accountabilities:

• Delivers discipline and effective Security at all company facilities and operations.

• Maintain Safety implementation in Security operations.

• Communicate effectively and well respected by the Management team, national Security forces, community leaders, and workers.

• Supervise Security service provider program and implementation to ensure the quality and performance measures are consistently met.

• Supervise the implementation support from the Indonesian Police force to ensure quality and performance in accordance with the MoU.

• Identifies and clearly communicate to superior regarding Security risks related to acknowledged groups thread and provide suggestion to mitigate the impacts of prioritized Security risk.

• Effectively communicates with all levels of the Company workforce, National Security force, local community, and associated stakeholders through an effective and comprehensive Security awareness and vigilance program.

• Provides leadership and suggestion to Superior on Security procedures and practices.

• Direct and supervises investigation of Security related incidents and/or loss or misappropriation of assets.

• May assist senior Police officers with crowd control and surveillance.

• As a Security field leader on daily Security operations activity.

Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from any major with a GPA of 3.00

• Having a Gada Utama Indonesian Police certification is mandatory.

• Minimum 6 years of Security supervisory experience with at least 4 years’ experience in the extractive mining/oil & gas industry.

• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.

• Experience to supervise a group of employees.

• Having investigative skills.

• Experience in health and safety for the mining/oil & gas industry.

• Experience in managing Security service providers.

• Experience in intelligence gathering and analysis.

• Experience to develop Security SOPs, Security plans, and other documents.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong computer skills (minimum Ms. Office).

• Able to adapt to competing for cultural nuances and external stakeholders.

• Able to demonstrate awareness of Corporate Security, Safety, and Environmental.

• Having an Indonesian driving license and being able to operate a vehicle both on/off-road.
