KEPALA TEKNIK SMELTER (SMT)
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Responsible to ensure that smelter operations are carried out in compliance with the requirements set by the Indonesian government, such as in the application of environmentally friendly technologies, waste management, and environmental protection
• responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of a smelting operation, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a smelting facility.
• This position is also responsible for managing the technical team, developing and implementing procedures, identifying and addressing technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to optimize performance
• Ensuring that smelter operations are carried out in accordance with the requirements and regulations set by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), and the Environmental Monitoring Agency (BPLHD).
• Monitoring the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies and effective waste management in smelter operations.
• Ensuring environmental protection and the health of workers at the smelter site.
• Maintaining good communication with relevant departments in the company and the government to ensure that smelter operations comply with applicable legal requirements.
• Ensuring operational safety and the quality of products produced in accordance with regulations set by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) and the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin).
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of smelter facilities to keep them in good condition and meet safety and environmental requirements.
• Evaluating and designing more efficient and environmentally friendly smelter operation strategies.
• Providing the necessary reports and information to the Indonesian government regarding smelter operations.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, metallurgy, materials science, or a related field.
• At least 20 years of experience in a technical leadership or management role in the smelting industry or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful smelter operations management, including environmental compliance and safe work practices; Familiarity with Good Corporate Governance, Occupational, Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and standards related to smelter operations
• Knowledge of smelting processes and associated equipment;
• Professional certification, such as a Certified Smelter Manager (CSM) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), may be preferred or required;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian may be required, particularly for companies with international operations or partnerships;
• Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to oversee and direct the work of technical staff; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with different departments and stakeholders; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
MANAGER - AIR SEPARATION UNIT (SMT)
(Expatriate/ National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• “First time right” Engineering decisions for Air Separation Unit (ASU) along with the Owner’s engineers’ team & the technology supplier
• HAZID & HAZOP – Conversant with the hazards related to ASU & the mitigation measures
• Safety & Statutory Compliances – Ensure compliance to safety and environment & adhere to SOPs during construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the plant
• Basic knowledge of different equipment used for ASU plant like Blowers, Compressor, Heat Exchangers, Expanders, Electric Heaters, PPU units, Chillers, Pre-cooling towers, Cooling Tower, Pumps, LOX pumps, Cryogenic double walled storage, distillation column and Air Filtration
• Effectively manage the issues and mitigate the risks during the project stage and subsequently during the operations
• Operation & Maintenance of ASU plant post commissioning, achieve the monthly targets in line with the budget/set target
• Ensuring no stoppage of Smelter due to lower availability of ASU
• Life Cycle analysis of critical equipment & spares
• Optimize the specific consumption of water, power, oxygen venting, consumables based on best operating practices
What skills and experience do you need?
• Mechanical engineering background with at least 15 years relevant industrial experience in engineering, design, OEM selection, managing construction, Operations of ASU, especially in Non-Ferrous sector – preferably Copper Smelter. Experience in greenfield/brownfield project &/or international organization would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in managing ASU in Asian Non-ferrous smelters or other Indonesian origin plants will be an added advantage
• Expertise in process technology, engineering, operations, maintenance, shutdown management, troubleshooting
• Previous experience in managing high value project (>USD 1 billion) would be preferred
• Knowledgeable on subcontract management, including project controls, configuration management, risk management, schedule, and cost control
• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills
• Ability to work, both, independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment dependent on managing project timelines and schedules simultaneously
• Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals within the design, construction, and procurement

DEPUTY MANAGER SLAG CONCENTRATOR (SMT)
(Expatriate/ National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Ensure copper loss in tailings as per the performance guarantee during commissioning & subsequent plant operations
• “First time right” Engineering decisions for Slag Concentrator (SC) along with the Owner’s engineers’ team & the technology supplier
• HAZID & HAZOP – Conversant with the hazards related to SC & the mitigation measures
• Safety & Statutory Compliances – Ensure compliance to safety and environment & adhere to SOPs during construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the plant
• Basic knowledge of different equipment used for SC plant like Crushers, Ball Mill, SAG Mill, Compressor, Flotation Cells, Slurry Pumps, Thickeners, Filtration unit, etc.
• Effectively manage the issues and mitigate the risks during the project stage and subsequently during the operations
• Operation & Maintenance of SC post commissioning in close co-ordination with the main Smelter operation
• Ensuring no stoppage of Smelter due to lower availability of SC
• Reagents handling & management as per the SOPs
• Ensure correct water balance in the system
• Optimize the specific consumption of water, power, reagents & consumables based on best operating practices
What skills and experience do you need?
• Metallurgical or Chemical engineering background with at least 15 years relevant industrial experience in engineering, design, OEM selection, managing construction, Operations of Concentrator plant, especially in Non-Ferrous sector – preferably Copper Smelter. Experience in greenfield/brownfield project &/or international organization would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in managing Concentrator plant in Asian Non-ferrous smelters or other Indonesian origin plants will be an added advantage
• Expertise in process technology, engineering, operations, maintenance, shutdown management, troubleshooting
• Previous experience in managing high value project (>USD 1 billion) would be preferred
• Knowledgeable on subcontract management, including project controls, configuration management, risk management, schedule, and cost control
• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills

• “First time right” Engineering decisions for Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) along with the Owner’s engineers’ team & the technology supplier
• HAZID & HAZOP – Conversant with the hazards related to ETP & the mitigation measures
• Safety & Statutory Compliances – Ensure compliance to safety and environment & adhere to SOPs during construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the plant
• Strong knowledge of the impact of the heavy metals and impurities received from Smelter, GC-SAP, ER, etc in the ETP process & its effective management
• Conversant with the different reagents used, effective waste management in compliance with the local regulations
• Effectively manage the issues and mitigate the risks during the project stage and subsequently during the operations
• Operation & Maintenance of ETP post hot commissioning, achieve the monthly targets in line with the budget/set target
• Ensuring no stoppage of Smelter due to lower availability of ETP
What skills and experience do you need?
• Chemical or Process Operations background with at least 15 years relevant industrial experience in engineering, design, OEM selection, managing construction, Operations of Effluent Treatment Plant, especially in Non-Ferrous sector – preferably Copper Smelter. Experience in greenfield/brownfield project &/or international organization would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in managing ETP in Asian Non-ferrous smelters or other Indonesian origin plants will be an added advantage
• Expertise in process technology, engineering, operations, maintenance, shutdown management, troubleshooting
• Previous experience in managing high value project (>USD 1 billion) would be preferred
• Knowledgeable on subcontract management, including project controls, configuration management, risk management, schedule, and cost control

SUPERINTENDENT PORT OPERATIONS (SMT)
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Responsible to ensure and control Marine’s, and Lay Down activities in compliance with SOP, respective company’s regulations, and government’s policies, in a safe, effective, and efficient operations
• To manage project operation at Cargo Jetty, Company Jetty, Public Jetties, Company Lay Down and public laydown in safe, effective, and efficient operations
• A safe operation of loading-unloading general cargo, containers and bulks material from vessel, placement of the cargos at the laydown or public port area and transporting to project site safely
• Provide direction and support to ensure of the process of lifting cargo process is safe and on time in line with SOP
• Manage training procedures of Lifting & Rigging for related employees
• Ensure Jetty Cargo, Company Jetty, and public Jetty are operated efficiently
• Ensure cargo movement and placement are executed based on cargo category and storage’s time limit at Laydown Area
• Maintain the coordination with all related cargo movement’s users
• Ensure all data in system and related administration managed accordingly
• Provide company Marine and Laydown strategy to support operational needs
• Create and Manage Stevedoring performance KPIs
• Support SAR Operation in any emergency response services at Site Local Port Area
What skills and experience do you need?
• Formal degree qualification in Business, engineering and/ or logistic or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with 5 years in managerial level preferably within a large mining organization as Superintendent Port Operations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience interfacing with government departments at a senior level.
• Good knowledge of Indonesian Customs regulation is a must and experience on International shipping is required;
• Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognize by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to engage and build relationships across multiple layers of the organization from senior management to site leaders and Operations Crew, and other Stakeholder.
• Very good organizational skills with the ability to effectively priorities tasks and work both independently and as part of a team;
• Strong analytical capabilities and negotiating skills, sound business sense, advanced documentation skills with high attention to detail;

SENIOR SPECIALIST LOGISTICS (SMT)
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Responsible to arrange shipping aligned with procurement strategy, direct and supervise shipping arrangement/cargo consolidation.
• To establish and administer system at the most effective and accurate manner with most efficient logistics cost to operations for the consolidation and movement to Indonesia site of supplied materials originating from Chine, Europe, North America, Australia, Asia and Indonesia through air, land and sea modal transport methods.
• Ensure that project requests are promptly responded when raised and that problems or challenges that arise are dealt with in the most expeditious manner possible regardless of external factor influences. Provide multiple options to achieve results including understanding and explaining the cost implications of each action.
• To supervise and manage Logistics Contractors (Freight Forwarding, Shipping Line, EPC contractor, etc) to ensure smooth operation and achieve the targeted.
• Local Logistics Strategy :
o Develop and implement company logistics strategy encompassing both site and corporate operational requirements.
o Provide supervision and leadership for Domestics and International Logistics movement (Sea, Air, inland transport) as well as Container Management operation.
• International INBOUND :
o To ensure data correctness and accuracy by checking shipping documentation, master list facility, vessel manifest, bill of loading compared with data system for Custom Clearance purposes.
o Manage and control material receipt functions to ensure 100% data integrity of the SAP system for all company materials including the accurate location information.
o Maintain & create waybill for all material supplies.
o Update data related to vessel manifest and transhipment manifest.
o Update vessel arrival schedule to all related parties and update in out vessel manifest status through SAP.
o Working with EPC/shipping line to maintain, control vessel schedule and its vessel routings based on targeted and update vessel schedule 6MLA, 3MLA, monthly and weekly.
o Work closely with EPC, Shipping Line, Agent and sub-contractors to expedite shipment of cargos to onsite and ensure all cargos received on time.
o To provide problem solving in coordination with EPC contractor, freight forwarding in cargo receiving i.e. over, short, damage and container issues both at consolidation point and on site central distribution point.
o Work with freight forwarding to control transhipment cargo in Surabaya and ensure vessel connectivity with domestic vessel in Surabaya Port.
o Working with Import section to prepare all documentation for BC 1.2 clearance, ensure all process run well and connect with next vessel schedule
o Produces weekly and monthly freight report and other shipment report if required.
o Support commercial team to review project vessel permit, specification and arrange shipping booking In and Out of Local Site Bay.
o Working with Procurement to arrange project vessel, review vessel documentation and monitor vessel schedule.
• International OUTBOUND
o Working with warehousemen, user, lay down team to prepare empty, full container, and break bulks for back loading purpose
o Working with shipping agent to prepare shipping documentation, decide list of container backload and port of discharge.
o Working with import section to prepare commercial invoice, packing slip and other documents for custom clearance process.
o Working with shipping agent to get cargo space on board to all full containers and breakbulk, and ensure all cargo are shipped on schedule.
o Helping subcontractor to prepare all export documentations for containers and break bulks materials,
o Preparing vessel manifest through ellipse and inform it to all related parties.
• Financial & Reporting
o Update data related to freight cost estimation for cargo transhipment in to data base.
o Perform freight invoice reviews and check and actively provide support to resolve freight billing issues.
o Responsible to prepare freight cost report on weekly and monthly basis including the trending cost of sea and land freight (trending figure on number of shipment containerized, break bulk and accessories costs).
o Review, approve and maintain new shipping and container detention rates and register through contract agreement.
• Budget & Cost :
o Assists Manager Logistic on managing logistics on freight and consolidation of cargo to and from any places to site including container movement cost and demurrage.
What skills and experience do you need?
