AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to provide Air Ground Radiotelephony Operator for Helicopter Flight and Seaplane Activities.

• To communicate with Air Traffic Controller Personnel for Helicopter and Sea Plane Activity

• To communicate with Port Operation for Helicopter and Sea Plane Activities.

• To coordinate flight plan data with Air Traffic Service Unit BIL / Denpasar regarding aircraft directing flight to Denpasar and Surabaya.

• To coordinate flight plan data with Air Traffic Service Unit Sumbawa regarding aircraft directing flight to Sumbawa.

• To coordinate with Marine Port Operation regarding the Bay activities.

• Monitoring en-route traffic and aircraft position from Denpasar to Lombok and Sumbawa Island then Sumbawa, Lombok to Denpasar untill two way communication with Bali info and assure the aircraft have establish visual contact.

• Provide surface data / weather reports at Site Port and destination aerodrome.

• Send and receive flight data to / from other aerodrome.

• Provide information to SAR units in case emergency situation and assist such unit if required.

• Monitoring NOTAM at the destination aerodrome.

• Record daily aircraft flying hours.

• Prepare weekly and monthly report aircraft flying hours reports.

• Prepare and record daily avtur usage to SCM Warehouse.

• Supervise ground crew in check-in process and ground handling.

• Prepare SOP and STP(s).

• Daily inspection of Aviation facility such as Helipad, Apron, Ramp, Refuelling equipment, Windsock, Fire Extinguishers.

• Facilitate receiving and transfer process avtur from avtur truck to main tank.

• Assist Helicopter refuelling and handling passenger and cargo at Helipad if required.

• Monthly inspection of Emergency Helicopter Craft Kit.

• Provide Benete Sunrise and Sunset timetable.

• Prepare and attend Search and Rescue Drill Program (Aerodrome emergency drill).

• Assist and support Supervisor Planning-Manifesting-Reporting activity.

• Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary Degree in related field

• Have minimum 3 years experiences as Radio Operator of boat and helicopter

• Having knowledge about Radio Telephony, Meteorology; Enable and have knowledge to handle “Distress Call“ for Helicopter and Sea Plane

• Flight Following requirements for flight activity including  : Enable to identify whether condition, visibility, cloud base, cloud structure, wind (direction and speed); Reporting Flight Level; Reporting Flight Points; Air Traffic Services; Radio Aids to Air Navigation; Reporting take-off and landing time to next destination

• Have Air Ground Radiotelephony Operator License issued by Directorate General

• Good communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
