Jadestone Energy is an independent oil and gas production company focused on the Asia Pacific region. In June 2020, Jadestone executed an agreement to acquire an operatorship license in the Lemang Production Sharing Contract (“PSC”), onshore Indonesia, and completed the acquisition in December 2020. The company operates 100% interest in the Lemang PSC, which includes the Akatara gas field development, where first production is expected in the first half of 2024.

Led by an experienced management team with a track record of delivery, who were core to the successful growth of Talisman’s business in Asia, the Company is pursuing an acquisition strategy focused on growth and creating value through identifying, acquiring, developing and operating assets in the Asia Pacific region. The Company is headquartered in Singapore, has its principal technical team in Kuala Lumpur and country operational offices in Perth, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur.

Senior Manager Operations & Development

As part of Country Senior Leadership team, this position reports directly to General Manager and responsible for overseeing the management of Operated Businesses in Indonesia. In addition, managing Jadestone Energy HSE, Supply Chain Management and Engineering Support functions in Indonesia, where the respective functional managers are also direct reports. Playing a key role in the efforts of Business Development and Exploration in pursuit of growth opportunities in Indonesia.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Setting Operational Standards, targets and objectives, establishing a suitable Integrated Management System, ensuring that appropriate attention is paid to EHS and Process Safety Management issues.

2. Setting and developing the strategic direction and overseeing the development of key operational objectives and goals, directing the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments.

3. Delivering safe, reliable and cost-efficient production at the highest of industry standards, and consistent business growth to achieve best value for shareholders.

4. Overseeing the opening or closing of facilities and the operational aspects of mergers and acquisitions (if any) so that these activities are completed on time and within budget and with minimal disruption to the organisation's day-to-day operations.

5. Guides, evaluates and develops a team of senior engineers with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.

6. Responsible for the assets' large capital and operating budgets, and directing the efforts of 100-200 personnel both in the Akatara field and Jakarta office.

7. Develop of its people and especially the development of local talent and skills in the areas where it operates. As such, the identification of talent and creating real development opportunities that allow people to grow as successor of critical positions in the organization.

8. Establishing a community of practice within the organisation that will promote and instil a culture of operational excellence.

9. Liaison with host governments, regulatory bodies and NOC is also a key function

Qualification

1. Bachelor or Master degree with in in Engineering discipline.

2. Having strong knowledge of oil & gas operations with 20+ experience in the industry.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Minimum 20+ years extractive industry experience in the area Production Operations, Operations Methods, Engineering & Inspection, Subsurface & Exploration, with minimum 15 years experiences in Managerial roles. Good communication skills and having strong knowledge of Oil & Gas business industry and understanding the business process.
