Business Development Manager (CODE: BDM)
To be based at Jakarta Sites
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion and Business Growth:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Indonesian mining sector.
• Implement strategies to increase market share and sales of AECI Mining Explosives products and services.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the mining industry.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Marketing:
• Arranging AECI Indonesia attendance and participation in Industry events and Exhibitions
• Collaborate with AECI marketing team in submitting publications and advertisements in local publications to enhance the AECI brand awareness
Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies to meet objectives.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
• Prepare and compile tender submissions
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with company policies.
• Manage and oversee contract implementation, ensuring timely product and service delivery.
• Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings and tender meetings with potential new clients
Product Knowledge and Innovation:
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of AECI Mining Explosives products, services, and technological innovations.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on product usage and benefits.
• Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Collaboration and Team Leadership:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and R&D, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
• Lead and mentor junior sales and business development staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Producing reports for management
The Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the mining or explosives industry.
3. Strong knowledge of the mining industry in Indonesia and familiarity with local regulations and business practices.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and management capabilities.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
8. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
LAB TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT (CODE: LAB-TA)
To be based at Sangatta Sites
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Purchasing activities in compliance with the prevailing procedures with regard to:
1. Based at PT AECI Indonesia at mining site/plant.
2. Participated in new product development and trials at all PT AECI Indonesia sites, providing support to the Bulk Tech Specialist.
3. Prepared comprehensive trial reports, including those for the new product development and trials conducted at all PT AECI Indonesia sites, ensuring accurate documentation and analysis of the results to support the Bulk Tech Specialist.Optimized current product formulations for improved performance.
4. Routine quality analysis of products produced in PT AECI Indonesia plants and MMU.
5. Regularly calibrated QC equipment at PT AECI Indonesia's mining sites/plants.
6. Lives and promotes the company’s SHEQ standards.
7. Assists with the analysis and reporting of non-routine or unusual customer complaints.
8. Ensures that all work conducted within the section is reported in an appropriate manner.
9. Conduct training and counseling for QC Team.
10. Conducts calibration of QC tools on site.
11. Review product related information and compiles it in a monthly report.
12. Review documents related to lab work.
The Requirements:
1. Education, Experience and Certificates:
Higher National Diploma or Scientific Degree.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a laboratory setting.
3. Strong analytical background.
4. Proficient in computer applications.
5. Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred.
LAB TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT (CODE: LAB-TA)

MATERIAL CONTROL SUPERVISOR (CODE: MC-SPV)
To be based at Kalimantan Sites
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Purchasing activities in compliance with the prevailing procedures with regard to:
1. Verify PR with the user to obtain specification of the required oods/services.
2. Appointment of supplier from the Approved Supplier List to provide required goods/services.
3. Develop a price comparison for any purchase to the Non-Approved and Non-Contracted Suppliers.
4. Create and/or prepare Purchase Order (PO).
5. Verify Invoice.
6. Create PO maximum 3 days after Approved PR is received.
7. Expedite PO.
8. Inform the goods delivery plan to MC.
9. Create Track Record PR to PO and PO Status.
10. Communicate all potential problems and find solutions of the problems as they arise which are related to Purchasing process including issues related to external parties, such as: Suppliers, Customs, and Forwarder.
11. Perform suppliers’ performance evaluation during transaction period by using the Supplier Performance Report (SPR) and submit the results to the Purchasing Coordinator
The Requirements:

2. Bachelor Degree (S1) of any discipline.
3. Familiar with SAP system.
4. Minimum 5 years of experience (2 years in logistic operation/export-import/planning).
5. Sound knowledge regarding Indonesian taxation and ability to calculate and report tax

TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER (CODE: TSE)

Key Responsibilities:

4. Competent use of relevant blasting models.
5. Thorough understanding of mining techniques.
6. Regularly performs cost analysis of drill & blast function.
7. Understands influence of D & B costs on mining costs.
8. Able to handle blasting related investigations and seeks assistance where necessary, and seeks approval for implementing solutions.
9. Involved in field trialing of new products.

1. Assisting Technical Services Engineer in managing the technical blasting project to deliver value for the customer
2. Continues to get more experience in field application of AECI products and services and its impact on the customer outcome.
3. Able to design general production blast designs

GRADUATE TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER (CODE: GTSE)
To be based at Kalimantan Sites

2. Perform job rotation and development of specific skills in specific jobs to meet specific fields under the supervision of an appointed mentor.

OPERATION MANAGER (CODE: OPR MNGR)
To be based at Kalimantan Sites
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all operational aspects related to the manufacturing and delivering bulk explosives and accessories to blast locations
2. Responsible for implementing and continually improving operational procedures, standards, safe working practices in order to prevent any sub-standard conditions or actions that could result in an unplanned safety event
3. Oversee support functions such as Safety, Technical Services, Engineering and Maintenance, Human Capital and Training, Supply Chain and Logistics and Finance in order to provide guidance or direction to each respective department that enhances the support required to efficiently deliver the our contractual obligations to our customers
4. Assist in delivering the business strategy into specific objectives and goals for the business unit and direct the implementation of policies and procedures
5. Understand and manage the Indonesian business environment including statutory regulatory compliance requirements applicable to Indonesian laws
6. Accountable for ensuring that all operational employees are trained and certified as per regulation or customer requirements to perform the tasks for which they have been employed
7. Accountable for the Safe operations of all equipment and manufacturing plants
8. Accountable for ensuring that the quality of manufactured and delivered products is kept up to standard and meets the required specifications
9. Accountable for the quality of blasting services and ensuring that all operations operate in accordance with regulatory requirements or as per contractual obligations
10. Ensure that only permitted and approved raw materials are used to manufacture products
The Requirements:
1. A tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree), preferably in Mining Engineering combined with a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience is required.
2. Has an experience in HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Management System.
3. The incumbent must have an intimate knowledge mining operations such as open-pit, quarry and underground massive mining methods and possess the ability to interact with customers at all operational and management levels.
4. The incumbent must be familiarize himself/herself with all relevant regulatory requirements related to the mining and explosives industry within the Republic of Indonesia.
5. Strong communication skills to motivate employees, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders and line management
6. Having POM Certificate will be advantage
7. Hold Blasting Competency (KJL) Class II is a must
8. Holds SIM A Driving License
9. Able to speak and write in English
10. Willing to be placed at Balikpapan
