Position:

Junior MEM Maintenance Operation Engineer

Work Location: Sorowako For National Recruitment

Purpose of the Role

Perform engineering works, project management tasks, maintenance and cost analysis, investigation and other actions to ensure that equipment are correctly maintained and performing at optimum capability and capacity with the best of economic cost for PT Vale Indonesia Tbk investment.

Accountabilities:

1. Perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning mobile equipment to reliability and maintenance process improvement with safely, effectively and efficiently.

2. Implement reliability engineering in Mobile Equipment maintenance to ensure that equipment can be operated at optimum capability and capacity.

3. Specify system components and modification mobile equipment and facilities to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

4. Perform maintenance cost of mobile equipment are well manage by preparing, monitoring and analyze all of mobile equipment maintenance cost.

5. Research and analyze mobile equipment design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

6. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to provide feedback and make recommendations to maintenance operational.

7. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Engineering

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, minimum 18 months experience in maintenance and experience in mechanical (mobile equipment) is a preferable.

• Certified for First Level Supervisor - Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP) is a preferable.

• Preferably have experience or knowledge in the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System (SMK3L).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in mining mobile equipment maintenance.

• Certified for First Level Supervisor - Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP) is a preferable.

Position:

Coordinator EHS Improvement

Work Location: Sorowako For National Recruitment

Purpose of the Role

To support the area manager to achieve their EHS accountabilities based on PT. Vale Indonesia, Tbk requirement and government regulations

Accountabilities:

1. To ensure that Departmental employees have access to and adequate understanding of all relevant elements of the EHS MS.

a. To ensure Hazard and Risk on each area manager and/or Project are well recognized, understood by the workers, address the control as required.

b. Train, Socialization and maintain the awareness and knowledge to new or existing Standards, Standard Procedures, Manuals and other.

c. Elements of the system as they are released by EHS (in addition to formal courses provided by EHS).

d. Maintaining and driving organization learning and applicability analysis in Manager areas access and available for use by the Leadership.

e. Coordination with snr Cord Training & Competencies to Manage and coordinating the compliance of certifications required based on Government and TNA as well as Equipment certifications

f. Perform analysis on Lagging indicators and Leading indicators EHS MS achieved in manager area and provide recommendation as subject matter expert related to the HS aspect.

g. Providing the first point of contact for any queries regarding the content of Standards or Standard Procedures.

h. Coaching in the use of SAP-IM and other EHS systems as required (in addition to formal courses provided by EHS).

2. To ensure that the Department’s EHS performance is accurately assessed and reported.

a. Ensure that an accountable person reports incidents into SAP-IM in a timely manner (including contractor incidents).

b. Providing analysis and evaluation of weekly EHS incident management (as presented at the managers’ meeting).

c. To identify and report broad-based or systemic failures of the Department or Sections to apply applicable EHS Standards or Standard procedures.

d. As front-line 1st line of defend to ensure the Critical control are well implement through audit, verifications.

3. Special functions to support the EHS MS across the Departments.

a. Managing the Change Management process and evaluating risk severity.

b. As Internal EHS Auditor Manager area for sustaining implementation of EHS MS.

c. Risk Workshop facilitator for the Department.

d. Supervise SLA audit program for the Department (quality, application, reporting).

e. Immediate response to significant EHS incidents within the Department, including in Emergency & Crisis Condition, example: as EHS controller during the crisis to support line management with management and reporting.

f. Facilitate/coordinate inspections by Mine Inspectors and management of mine book entries.

Requirements:

• Graduate from Engineering, science and/or occupational safety (K3).

• Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in operational and related field.

• Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) are mandatory.

• Fluent in English communication (writing, reading, speaking).

• Computer literate, experienced in MS Office Application (Word, Excel, Power Point).

• Preferably have experience or knowledge in the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System (SMK3L).
