1. Position Title:  Drilling Superintendent

Reports to   Drilling Manager

Status Temporary / Contract (by Project)

Division / Department Drilling / Engineering & Planning

JOB ROLES :

• Develop well design for drilling and completion program.

• Establish a comprehensive roadmap for drilling and completion program.

• Monitor and support procurement process.

• Execute technical negotiation and technical evaluation in the tender process for the services and equipment related to drilling operation, especially for Land Rig.

• Closely communicate with drilling contractor to prepare for drilling operation.

• Assist Well Test Engineer/Supervisor on procedure and operation of production test.

• Develop and/or review drilling and well testing program including Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

• Research Indonesian market status, especially on drilling rigs for upcoming drilling activities, by communicating with other PSCs.

• Ensuring all work, procedures and processes are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with COMPANY SHE requirements.

• Coordinates and supervises the activities of Operations Drilling Engineers, Drilling Supervisor(s) (DSV’s), Well Testing Engineer/Supervisor with regard to the drilling and well testing of exploration well.

• Consults on, reviews, critiques and approves well cost estimates and drilling plans prepared by the drilling engineers.

• Ensures optimum operational, financial, safety and environmental goals and objectives have been established for projects.

• Perform verification on rig support inspection and perform rig contract management on technical and cost management aspects.

• Supports the Drilling Department by sharing experiences on past results achieved and lessons learned with drilling team to ensure improved overall department performance.

• Is an active participant in well design reviews and risk assessments.

• Provides for the development of direct reports (DSV’s) by means of performance appraisals and personal development plans as well as mentoring.

• Coordinate with logistic coordinator and team to ensure smooth equipment movement to support drilling operation in timely manner

• Assist in determining project assignments for direct reports.

• Manage emergency situation and other operational drilling activities.

• Reviews and approves rig inspection, incident investigation and safety meeting reports submitted by direct reports. Ensures communication and follow-up on deficiencies/remedial actions are conducted as per the action plan.

• Conducts and/or leads incident investigations when appropriate.

• Ensures field work is performed in compliance with all applicable regulations and Company policies.

• Communicates with partners and senior management as needed.

• Reviews and evaluates direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum requirement of Drilling Specialist:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering.

• Knowledge and Experience of:

(i) More than fifteen (15) years of drilling and completion operations.

(ii) More than five (5) years of working experience in Indonesia with extensive expertise in procurement procedures. – Be familiar with Indonesian regulation.

(iii) More than five (5) years of working experience as a senior drilling engineer or higher position.

• Have a minimum of ten (10) years in drilling with high performance water based mud (HPWBM)

• Familiar drilling with LWD equipment

• Having experience in directional drilling utilizing directional tool such as mud motor steerable and rotary steerable system (power drive)

• Having valid certificate for: Well Control (IWCF or IADC), HUET and Sea Survival

• Age limit: 65 years old

 

2. Position Title:Day Drilling Supervisor

Reports to COMPANY’s Drilling Superintendent and/or Drilling Manager

Status Temporary / Contract (by Project)

Division / Department Drilling / Engineering & Planning

JOB ROLES :

• With Night Drilling Supervisor to prepare drilling operation from the previous Client’s last Well Location to the Well Location.

• To supervise drilling operations on the rig at morning and afternoon and ensure the implementation of drilling activities in accordance with COMPANY approved drilling program.

• To ensure all operational procedures comply with the drilling program and regulatory guidelines (including but not limited to COMPANY and SKK MIGAS).

• To establish operational practices for the safety and technical acceptability with current industrial standard

• To interpret drilling/testing programs and provide technical advice and assistance to Night Drilling Supervisor.

• To keep track and supervise of COMPANY equipment on drilling location.

• To provide daily estimated Well costs for the drilling operation.

• To manage and effectively plan day to day drilling.

• To ensure an adequate inventory of equipment and materials is maintained on board the Drilling Unit to carry out the work.

• To report to COMPANY’s Drilling Superintendent and/or Drilling Manager in Jakarta on the ongoing safety, well operations and the Drilling Unit activities, including providing feedback and operations improvement opportunities, as appropriate.

• Prepare drilling instruction for all well activities and submit them to the Night Drilling Supervisor.

• To ensure compliance with all of COMPANY’s HSE policies, management standards and expectations.

• To ensure compliance with all of COMPANY’s well construction management systems requirements.

• With Night Drilling Supervisor complete all routine drilling reports including daily drilling report and required non routine reports

• Implement proper operational practices for safety and technical acceptance with technical staff

• Interpret drilling / testing and provide technical advices and assistance for Night Drilling Supervisor

• Effectively manage and plan daily SHE performance, drilling operations, logistical movements.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Indonesian Nationality

• Having minimum fifteen (15) years experience particularly in Indonesia drilling operations which include a minimum  five (5) years experience as Day or Night Drilling Supervisor on horizontal well drilling operation.

• Being in good physical condition.

• Being able to write and speak English fluently (minimum TOEFL 450).

• Having a good working knowledge and experience in horizontal well drilling and well testing operations.

• Having experience in directional drilling utilizing directional tools such as mud motor, steerable and rotary steerable system (power drive).

• Familiar drilling with LWD equipment.

• Having experience in performing drilling utilizing high performance water based mud (HPWBM)

• Having valid certificate for: Well Control (IWCF or IADC), HUET and Sea Survival

• Preferably being familiar in drilling report software using Wellview (Peloton).

3. Position Title:Night Drilling Supervisor

JOB ROLES :

• With Day Drilling Supervisor to prepares drilling operation from the previous Client’s last Well Location to the Well Location.

4. Position Title:Well Site Geologist

Reports to JKT Operation Geologist and Exploration Manager

Status Temporary / Contract (by Project)

Division / Department Exploration

JOB ROLES :

• Geological aspects during drilling activities, including but not limited to:

- Description of cutting and core sample lithology.

- Determination of the actual top depth of each formation marker.

- Conduct supervision, quality control (QC) and operational evaluation as well as data acquisition results for Mudlogging, Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD), and Wireline Logging.

- Identify potential reservoirs and the presence of hydrocarbons.

- Evaluate and identify formation pressures during drilling.

- Evaluate and identify potential drilling hazards from the aspect of rock formations or geological conditions.

- Determine, identify, and evaluate the depth position of cutting samples, conventional core, sidewall core, pressure test, and other data.

• Operational aspects before/during/after drilling activities related to geological data, including but not limited to:

- Conduct inspections for all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment when it arrives at the drilling location and following the requirements requested by the COMPANY.

- Ensure that all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging personnel comply with the requirements requested by the COMPANY.

- Ensure that all main and spare Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment can be used.

- Conduct surface function tests for all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment that will be used during drilling.

- Ensure calibration for all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment.

- Ensure that all equipment on the surface, including Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging, is installed properly following Rig installation safety standards.

- Ensure that all Mudlogging, MWD-LWD, and Wireline Logging data has been sent to the COMPANY representative according to the required requirements.

- Provide the best recommendations based on data during drilling to company representatives to suspend or continue drilling.

• Attend Drilling Work on Paper meetings

• Conduct Pre-Drill Geological Data Review.

• Conduct communication and reporting following the coordination line requested by the COMPANY.

• Report geological data every day in the form of an accurate report at the turn of the day at 24.00 WIB and in the morning at 06.00 WIB

• Attend the daily geology meeting at 6.30 WIB.

• Attend drilling meetings at the drilling location when workers change shifts at 06.00 WIB and 18.00 WIB.

• Attend the daily drilling meeting at 08.00 WIB.

• Supervise and organize each sample packaging and delivery from the Drilling Unit.

• Review field data results, final data, and final reports from Mudlogging, MWD-LWD, and Wireline Logging.

• Create a final geological report from the drilling well.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ten (10) years experience as a Well Site Geologist

• Experience in the East Java Basin.

• Specific experience in carbonate reservoir.

 

5. Position Title:Well Testing/DST (Drill Stem Test) Supervisor

Reports to Petroleum Engineering Manager

Status Temporary (by Project)

Division / Department Petroleum Engineering / Engineering & Planning

JOB ROLES :

• To conduct seven (7) days preparation before TCP-DST and well testing program, included but not limited to:

• QA/QC for an original program for TCP-DST design of BHA, surface test equipment

• Liaising with service companies

• Preparation for necessary samplings equipment and PPE

• Witnessing all equipment pressure and function test

• To supervise TCP-DST services by:

• Coordinating TCP-DST service companies, Drilling Superintendent, KEI Jakarta office and other related departments

• Execution of the TCP-DST program, including monitoring, data acquisition and fluid sampling.

• Reporting of day to day operation to relevant persons on the Drilling Unit, such as Drilling Superintendent and to KEI Jakarta office.

• To prepare documents after drilling campaign for :

• Reporting

• Making lesson learnt for the next appraisal well program

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Being Indonesian Nationality

• Having minimum 10 (ten) years’ experience/knowledge in handling WIRELINE-SWT down hole tools and Surface Test Equipment during WIRELINE-SWT operation which include an extensive experience in the applications of state-of-the-art technologies and troubleshooting.

• Have experience testing with tubing hanger mode.

• Experience in make a program and supervise for Well testing, with WIRELINE-SWT/WIRELINE operation and Coil tubing operation including wireline SRO in offshore well (depth >3000 ft) and all condition cases (Barefoot / Cased Hole, Gas and Oil with High pour Point Waxy).

• Having minimum 10 (ten) years’ experience as Day or Night WIRELINE-SWT Supervisor on floating Drilling Unit and minimum one (1) well experience with Deepwater and/or high H2S/CO2 content WIRELINE-SWT operations

• Having experience working for an operator company and liaising with service companies.

• Being in good physical condition.

• Being able to write and speak English fluently

• Having certificate for: Well Control Intervention HUET and Sea Survival.

• Being proactive and able to operate independently and organize quality control QA/QC for all WIRELINE-SWT services in optimum and efficient manner.

• Being able to take into account of all safety issues and address environmental impact issues when making decisions or developing recommendations.

 

6. Position Title: Drilling Inventory Officer

Reports to: Drilling Logistics Coordinator

Status Temporary / Contract (by Project)

Division / Department Drilling / Engineering & Planning

JOB ROLES :

• To support Drilling Logistics Coordinator in supervising and recording incoming and ongoing drilling equipment / materials and rental equipment at Shore Base in coordination with Shore Base Supervisor.

• To monitor and control necessary equipment/materials for drilling activity.

• To review and record equipment/materials movement.

• To consult with Drilling Unit and Jakarta Office for logistics plan.

• To report all activities and work result to Drilling Logistics Coordinator and also Warehouse Section Head at shore base

• To work with inventory team for reconciling all materials during drilling activities to avoid any miss allocation and missing materials.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Being Indonesian Nationality

• Having minimum ten (10) years logistical experience particularly in Indonesia for onshore and offshore drilling operations which include a minimum three (3) year experiences as Logistic Coordinator of offshore operation

• Being in good physical condition.

• Being able to write and speak English fluently (minimum TOEFL 450).

• To ensure that all SHE plan and program is running well during drilling activity and drilling project operation.

• To ensure drilling operational programs are safely implemented according to SHE standards and procedures.

• Promote a strong environmental health and safety culture at sites thru SHE Meeting, Tool Box Meeting, SHE Campaign etc.

• Being proactive in every risk assessment and job safety analysis on Rig

• To supervise all personnel to perform the work in high standard level of safety.

• To work closely with SHE staff of drilling rig and support vessels.

• As investigation representative of team for accident / incident occurrence.

• To report SHE matters (Daily &, Weekly reports, Monthly SHE statistics, incident report, etc.).

• To ensure all SHE issues relate to SHE aspects are good follow up and closed status of improvement and corrective action in drilling site.

• To monitor applicable SHE drilling rules and regulations and its amendment or new regulations; coordinate, monitor, control, and evaluate the implementation of SHE policies and procedures at all drilling activities, SHE program and initiatives executions, handling explosives, radioactive, and hazardous waste, SHE training, SHE inspections and audits, emergency response system, and SHE administration and reporting; in order to ensure all drilling activities comply to the SHE rules and regulations determined by the Company, Government, industry standard, and personnel awareness increase on SHE.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Being Indonesian Nationality with academic education or equivalent.

• Having minimum S1 degree, preferably from Engineering and/or any related discipline.

• Preferably holding professional certifications in related fields.

• Holding mandatory certificates: K3L Migas.

• Holding certificates: NEBOSH or equivalent.

• Having minimum 10 years experiences particularly in Indonesia especially in oil & gas field, including 5 year experiences in handling SHE aspects and matters.

• To ensure that all SHE/K3LL objectives and program is running well in Shore Base (SB) in supporting field operations and project / drilling.

• To ensure the operational of SB are safely implemented in accordance with SHE/K3LL standards and procedures.

• Promote a strong environmental health and safety culture at sites thru SHE Meeting, Tool Box Meeting, SHE Campaign etc

• Being proactive in every risk assessment and job safety analysis in shore base.

• To monitor and advise all personnel to perform the work in high standard level of safety.

• To coordinate with contractor’s SHE personnel.

• As investigation representative of team for accident / incident occurrence.

• To report SHE/K3LL matters (Monthly SHE/K3LL statistics, incident report, etc.).

9. Position Title: Material Man

Reports to: Drilling Logistic Coordinator

Status Temporary (by Project)

Division / Department Drilling / Engineering & Planning

JOB ROLES :

• To coordinate the activities of incoming and ongoing of drilling material physically and administration on the Drilling Unit.

• To coordinate the activities of inventory or a physical check on the drilling material of the Drilling Unit.

• To maintain activities of drilling material during storage while on the Drilling Unit.

• To ensure physical QOH material of the Drilling Unit are stored temporarily in accordance with record of incoming and ongoing of existing material on the Drilling Unit.

• To check the drilling material received on the Drilling Unit includes the quantity and material specifications.

• To record incoming and outgoing material on the Drilling Unit well in the stock card (stock item) as well as in the log book (non-stock items including rental tools).

• To set up drilling material shipping documents in accordance with the material status

• To set up the shipping manifest if any material shipment through the vessel in the Drilling Unit.

• To return the materials that are not used anymore in the Drilling Unit to warehouse.

• To archive documents related to material/warehouse in the Drilling Unit.

• To coordinate with Drilling Logistic Coordinator, Drilling Inventory Officer and Inventory Coordinator related with material.

• To coordinate with Shore Base related with the requisition and delivery of materials to the Drilling Unit.

• To record and monitor of drilling tools and other material assets usage.

• To perform drilling tools and other drilling materials maintenance and ensuring the material conditions at the Drilling Unit in good condition.

• To do perpetual inventory for all the material stock in the Drilling Unit.

• To report quantity on hand of material in the Drilling Unit and distribute it to user

• To arrange the placement/storage of materials in Drilling Unit/warehouse.

• To coordinate with stevedoring and Marine Dispatcher group on the Drilling Unit for loading-offloading and delivery of goods by vessel.

• To conduct incoming and outgoing recording of drilling material

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Having minimum Senior High School graduated or equivalent.

• Having wide knowledge of drilling material and tools included but not limited to condition check and maintenance.

• Having knowledge of drilling activities on the Drilling Unit included but not limited to arrangement/storage system of drilling material and tools and SHE.

• Having knowledge of warehouse activities (loading - unloading, storage, stocking) and integrated system (such as ORACLE).

• Having Basic Fire Fighting, Sea Survival & HUET License.

• Having similar experience at least three (3) years.

• Being able to communicate in English

10. Position Title: Marine Dispatcher

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor / Coordinator

JOB ROLES :

• To monitor and supervise vessel traffic.

• To clarify vessel running hours including fuel analysis/fuel usage

• To manage loading and unloading cargo by coordinating with Material Man/Warehouse Supervisor and port authority (if required).

• To make daily report of fuel consumption and vessel activities.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Having minimum Senior High School graduated or equivalent.

• Having Radio Operation Land and Marine License.

• Having Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS) License.

• Having Basic Fire Fighting, Sea Survival & HUET License.

• Having similar experience at least three (3) years.

• Being able to communicate in English
